「ゆめいころ」は,地方独立行政法人北海道立総合研究機構北見農業試験場(北見農試,北海道訓子府町)にて育成された“早生”の生食用バレイショ品種である.「男爵薯」との置き換えが可能なジャガイモシストセンチュウ抵抗性の早生品種育成を目指し,「男爵薯」を母,「北系39号」を父として,2010年に人工交配を実施し,その後代より育成された.北見農試における「ゆめいころ」の枯ちょう期は「男爵薯」同様の“早生”で,上いも(20 g以上のいも)の平均重が「男爵薯」より10 gほど重く,収量性は「男爵薯」より優れる.また,生食用向けの規格内いも(60~260 gのいも)収量は「男爵薯」に比べて10%多い.病虫害抵抗性は,ジャガイモシストセンチュウ抵抗性と“中”程度のそうか病抵抗性を併せ持つ.塊茎の肉色は「男爵薯」同様“白”で,目の深さが「男爵薯」より浅いことから,剥皮歩留まりの向上が期待され,このことは調理加工用途での優点となる.水煮いもの肉質は“やや粉質”の「男爵薯」と“粘質”の「メークイン」の中間で,しっとりとした食感である.「ゆめいころ」を北海道におけるジャガイモシストセンチュウ発生地帯の「男爵薯」と置き換えて普及することにより,北海道におけるバレイショの安定生産および栽培振興に加え,北海道畑作の輪作体系維持に貢献できる.
“梦之子”是地方独立行政法人北海道立综合研究机构北见农业试验场(北见农试,北海道训子府町)培育的“早生”生食菌类品种。以培育可与“男爵薯”进行置换的马铃薯种子和抗虫性早熟品种为目标,以“男爵薯”为母本,以“北系39号”为父,于2010年实施人工杂交,由其后代培育而成。北见农试中的“梦薯”的枯长期是与“男爵薯”相同的“早熟”,上薯(20g以上的薯)的平均重量比“男爵薯”重10g左右,产量性优于“男爵薯”。另外,面向生食用的规格内薯(60 ~ 260克的薯)产量比“男爵薯”多10%。在病虫害抗性上,马铃薯兼具线虫抗性和“中等”程度的抗病性。块茎的肉色和“男爵薯”一样为“白色”,由于眼的深度比“男爵薯”浅,因此有望提高剥皮成品率,这在烹饪加工用途上是一个优点。水煮薯的肉质介于“偏粉质”的“男爵薯”和“黏质”的“make - in”之间,口感湿润。通过将“梦谷”替换为北海道的土豆和线中发生地带的“男爵薯”进行普及,不仅促进了北海道的巴列所的稳定生产和栽培振兴,可以为维持北海道旱作的轮作体系做出贡献。
