Rectifiers for Piezoelectric Transformers 压电变压器整流器

In some applications the piezoelectric transformers represent an interesting alternative to the conventional transformers with electromagnetic coupling. The piezoelectric transformer output voltage is generated by the piezoelectric effect. This voltage is generated as a result of charge generation. When designing rectifier and filter circuits, it is necessary to take into account the different behaviour and properties compared to electromagnetic transformers. In this paper the problems with rectification of the piezoelectric voltage are described. The paper describes the rectifier and filter circuits usable for the piezoelectric transformers. The facts presented in the article are applicable for all systems where the piezoelectric voltage needs to be rectified e.g. piezoelectric energy harvesting.

Coherent Wideband Direct Localization: Challenges and Recent Results 相干宽带直接定位:挑战和最新成果

Theoretical analysis of coherent direct localization by a distributed array promises great accuracy. Simulations of proposed localization algorithms confirmed this. The concept was verified experimentally by a prototype system. Challenges associated with this localization are high computational cost, the ambiguity problem, and requirements for fine synchronization and accurate knowledge of the array’s element positions. A number of solutions are discussed. The greatest gains would be in improving link performance in wireless networks.

Raspberry Pi based Robot for Drawing Patterns on Ovoid Objects 基于树莓派的机器人在卵形物体上绘制图案

This paper proposes a Raspberry Pi based embedded system, consisting of a 3D printed custom frame, stepper motors, servomotor and robotic arm, which can be controlled using an intuitive Python graphical interface in order to draw precise patterns on ovoid objects. This robot is able to assist humans in their artistic behavior, by performing accurate drawing tasks with the aid of automation. For the proof of concept, we define 3 models, with various levels of complexity, which are automatically drawn on an egg-shaped object. The proposed drawbot solution proves to be cost-effective, reliable and precise.

MAC protocols in Wireless Sensor Network: a Energy Comparison Analysis 无线传感器网络中的MAC协议:能量比较分析

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are made up of a large number of sensor nodes characterized by a limited amount of resources so, the energy aspect is a key point in their development. MAC protocols play an important role in energy management, trying to minimize overhead of the physical layer reducing the energy wasted in preamble transmission. In this paper, we have configured and analyzed two different MAC protocols on various scenarios of WSNs by using OMNeT++ simulator in combination with INET framework. Our experiments show a comparison between two MAC protocols in terms of received packets and power consumption among networks’ nodes.

Adding Android capabilities in automotive Linux infotainment: available virtualization technologies 在汽车Linux信息娱乐系统中添加Android功能:可用的虚拟化技术

People use Android applications to perform everyday activities. That is why the most common In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) consumer requirement is the support for user-attractive Android applications. However, many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have developed their automotive IVI domain based on Linux OS. A few years ago, Google started to develop Android Automotive as an Android-based solution for the automotive IVI domain. Because of competition, the automotive industry is looking for different ways of adding support for Android applications. But having Android applications in an already present Linux is not an easy task considering the amount of effort put in establishing noticeable UI/UX features. This paper gives an overview of two software-based virtualization solutions for adding support for Android applications on an already running Linux IVI domain. The solutions are hypervisor technology, already used in production, and container technology, a relatively new approach in the automotive. Both solutions are deployed on the same automotive-grade platform to preserve the same test conditions. The memory consumption is evaluated between a specific hypervisor and container runtime solution. The paper concludes that it is better to use container technology to add Android support to systems where memory usage by several Android applications is not known in advance.

The Method for Measuring the Permittivity to Assess the Influence of External Factors 测量介电常数以评估外界因素影响的方法

A transmission line measurement method for measuring the permittivity of a material when exposed to chemically aggressive media is presented. The estimation of the measurement error of the permittivity for a sample with known parameters is carried out. The reference permittivity is measured with the resonance method. It is shown that after the influence of an external chemically aggressive environment on the material, a change in its electrodynamic parameters is observed. The measured material has a permittivity close to the reference sample. The resulting change in the dielectric constant exceeds the calculated value of the error, which allows us to conclude about the accuracy of the measurements.

Pandemic Symptoms Real-Time Ranking Platform 大流行症状实时排名平台

COVID-19 takes an increasing share of everyday life and imposes the need for an exploratory data analysis executed by both, professionals and the general public. The primary focus of this paper is designing and implementing a system for processing the vast amount of case data available to obtain overall statistics for symptoms and rank them in real-time. Processing the current data and providing a mechanism to process new data generated in real-time from diverse and many sources is one of the current challenges. Our solution to tackle the challenge is to execute the processing in a massively parallel way enabled by CUDA along with principles and constructs for efficient parallel programming, which are eminent due to the volume and velocity of data, thus, checking the validity of a research question is it possible to process Covid-19 big data challenges more efficiently with GPU-based parallel constructs.

The Covid-19 pandemic has emerged as a challenge for numerous socio-economic processes established in times prior the outbreak. Here we contribute to the subject with an analysis of the mobility pattern changes, derived from telecommunications location services data, and their effects on the air pollution with the PM2.5 particles during the imposed lockdown in Krapinsko-zagorska county (Županija krapinsko-zagorska) in the north-western Croatia in the first quarter of 2020. The study is conducted using the publicly available data. Statistical analysis reveals the complex cause-effect relationship between the PM2.5 concentration, as the measure of air quality, and the general public mobility. We continue our research to contribute to understanding of the Covid-19 epidemiological development, and the socio-economic impact on the climate change and environmental conditions

Survey on Technologies Driving the Smart Energy Sector 推动智能能源领域的技术调查

The European electricity system undergoes significant changes driven by the EU common rules for the internal market for electricity, as well as by the climate action agenda. The future smart electricity system will build upon a combination of a broad range of new and old technologies together working in novel ways. This paper provides an analysis of novel concepts and technologies for building smart energy management applications from the landscape of technologies from two perspectives: Smart Grids and Energy Efficient Building Operation.

Reactive Service Function Path Discovery Approach in Software Defined Network 软件定义网络中响应式业务功能路径发现方法

In this paper we study a way to exclude the necessity for proactive Service Function (SF) path policy from Service Function Chaining (SFC) classification process. SFC architecture uses network traffic classification for steering network traffic through SF path. Architecture does establish overall requirements for classification but is unable to dynamically discover SF paths. Therefore, we propose a reactive SF path discovery method. Reactive SF path discovery gains an advantage over proactive discovery by use of reclassification for unknown network traffic. We examined our method in a Software Defined Network (SDN) emulation in Mininet emulator with RYU SDN controller. The result of this study is a comparison between proactive and reactive SF path discovery, which shows that our SF path discovery method has higher probability of successful SF path discovery.
