Aspect-oriented software development (AOSD) has great potential in reducing software complexity. Aspects have been defined in the implementation phase of software development, but lack clear understanding in the early phases of software development. Without this early focus on aspects, the benefits of aspect-oriented programming are lost. This paper proposes a definition of what an aspect is in the requirements phase of software development that focuses on both functional and non-functional requirements. In addition, this paper presents a methodology, the SLAI (Structured Lexicon for Aspectual Identification) Methodology, for the systematic identification of aspects at this stage. This methodology examines all the vocabulary used to define the requirements of the system to ensure that all terms are reused as much as possible, eliminating similar terms for the same concepts. The SLAI was used in a case study where requirements were systematically analyzed and aspects were identified from both functional and non-functional requirements.

The introduction of Shanghai interbank offered rate (Shibor) will turn back the situation that our country has not really unified benchmark interest rate. The traditional method of unit root test and the method of unit root test under non-linear adjustment, exponential smooth transition autoregressive, have been discussed. Based on Shibor, empirical tests are made: Nonlinearities of Shibor such as overnight rate, one year rate and the spread have been examined, and unit root tests are paid to the level, the first difference and the spread of overnight rate and one year rate based on the traditional method and the method of exponential smooth transition autoregressive respectively. The result shows: There are remarkable non-linear adjustment characteristics in the spread of Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate (Shibor). After considering non-linear adjustment, overnight rate and one year rate are cointegrated with the vector (-1,1)¿, and the long-run equilibrium relationship between them is stable.

Time series data is a series of observation data according to a certain time sequence. It has been penetrate various field. This paper applies Rough set to the knowledge discovery of time series. The process of knowledge discovery in time series includes preprocessing of timeseries data, attributes selection and similarity sequence searching. Then, the time series is partitioned to a set of pattern (each pattern represents a trend of time series) by mobile window method. An information table is formed by the most important predicting attributes and target attribute which in the trending variation ratio structure sequence (TVRSS) identified from each pattern. This information table is suitable for the Rough set to discover knowledge. The extracted rules can predict the time series behavior in the future. We demonstrate our method on timeseries stock market data.

View incremental update is an effective technique for improving performance in a mobile environment. Classical view incremental update strategies are not suitable for XML data update. In this paper, a new XML Structured-based Incremental Update (XSIU) algorithm is proposed, it can significantly improve the performance of the view incremental update. Simulations are carried out to evaluate the proposed methodology. Compared to the previous view incremental update based on priority, our scheme can increase the data freshness when the bandwidth sharply declines.

Image registration based on the features of an image is a major research direction. It is common sense that there are many problems in traditional feature registration including a large amount of computations, high complexity and low accuracy. So, an auto image registration method based on natural characteristic points and global homography is proposed in this paper. In this method, firstly, the feature points are detected using Harris feature detector. Then the one-to-one matching points are obtained through rough matching and refine matching. Finally, image registration can be achieved through the homography matrix calculated by matching corner points. Experimental results demonstrate its fewer computations, high accuracy, insensitive to noise and illumination with good robustness. This study presents a new idea on image registration with a mutual rigid transformation relation.

On the other hand, GPRS or 3G telecommunication protocol offer the persistent connectedness of learning, but comparative weak computing power and very limited network bandwidth cause the learning as time-consuming process. Besides, the learning contents become more and more miscellaneous with on-line multimedia presentations, and it is necessary for learners to wait for the learning resources to be downloaded from the remote learning management server.
