Interaction of a Humanoid Robot Nao with a Non-Humanoid Walking Robot 仿人机器人Nao与非仿人行走机器人的交互作用

Abstract The paper considers a novel algorithm for performing joint tasks between a humanoid robot NAO and a low-budget (Low-Cost) walking robot Big Foot. The specific construction of Big Foot allows movement by walking, change of direction and overcoming obstacles by using only two engines. The principle of movement of Big Foot is presented and the parameters, which determine the step and velocity of movement, are discussed. NAO robot sets the beginning of task execution and controls reaching the target position by the non-humanoid robot. NAO sonars are employed for this purpose. The non-humanoid robot Big Foot is controlled remotely by a human. The information on the timing of the executed movements and the reaching of the target is collected in several ways by using the sensors of NAO and Big Foot. The obtained results are analysed. Possibilities for application of the proposed algorithm are discussed.

Challenging Sensing Solutions Designed by Sensata Bulgaria 由Sensata保加利亚设计的具有挑战性的传感解决方案

Abstract This paper presents novel green automotive platinum sensing technology together with pressure sensors design principles and applications. In recent years, worldwide emissions legislation has been introduced and is rapidly becoming more stringent. With alternative vehicular propulsion methods far from becoming mainstream reality, leading automotive providers have intensified efforts in the direction of reducing the harmful footprint of their products. This is being accomplished via smaller, appropriately designed internal combustion engines, necessitating an increased and higher-performance sensor content per vehicle. This paper elaborates on temperature sensor application in automotive exhaust gas performance sensing and as well as pressure sensors in different challenging automotive applications with very high pressure levels.

Investigation and Development of IoT Based Solutions for Implementation the Cloud Technologies in the Energy Systems Control 基于物联网的能源系统控制云技术实施方案的研究与开发

Abstract The paper considers the possibilities for implementation the Cloud technologies in the energy systems control and the expected benefits from this. The trends in the electric energy systems development and the challenges in front of the control are summarized. It is obvious that the introduction of information and communications technologies is unavoidable in order to achieve the main goals – effective, reliable, sustainable and safe operation of the energy system. A possible scenario is the development of a modern metering infrastructure based on smart sensor networks. Development and implementation of Internet of Things oriented solutions is expected to help the introduction of Cloud computing in the industrial and home energy management systems. Two models of IoT based solutions are explained. They consider the approaches for Internet connectivity of modern and legacy measurement and control equipment. Experimental results are given.

A Digital Pressure Sensor in Soaring Vehicles and Gliders 翱翔飞行器和滑翔机中的数字压力传感器

Abstract This paper describes a method for software optimization of digital sensor for vertical speed estimation applications. The system solution is based on Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms discretized and adjusted for software implementation. Responsiveness, sensitivity and algorithm performance are considered. The presented method in this paper is tested in real flight conditions on an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and piloted paraglider. A two widely used digital pressure sensors, manufactured by two leading sensor producers, are used in the experiments.

Design of State Rail and Bus Transportation Scheme with Bi-Level Optimization Model 基于双层优化模型的国家轨道交通和公共汽车交通方案设计

Abstract The increase of the rail public transportations is searched in directions for redistribution of the passenger travels between rail and bus transportation. The rail transport benefits by increasing it schedule for places where the transportation capacities on appropriate directions is not achieved. A mathematical model has been derived to assess the potential of the rail passenger transport to increase his capacity and efficiency. This potential has been evaluate in comparison with the competition of the bus transportation. A specific transportation route has been chosen from Sofia to Varna and the potential for increase of the rail transport has been evaluated. The mathematical model uses bi-level optimization problem, related to the evaluation of a maximal flow in a transportation network.

Abstract An exceptionally effective implementation using parallel computations with two perspective quadrature schemes in a specific environment, namely. NET Framework, is discussed. Comparative tests are carried out demonstrating the possibility for effective computations with very high precision with specific tools of the environment being used. This paper describes a part of the research undertaken for the purpose of creating a tool library for arbitrary precision calculations [1]. The main goal is to demonstrate that very useful and mutually complementing computational tools, solving non-trivial problems with high precision computations may be implemented in a concrete environment, which is wide spread for personal computers, but underestimated by the software developers of scientific applications.

Abstract The flexible job shop problems (FJSP) are an important class of scheduling problems and they have a significant practical value. Unfortunately it is not easy to solve job shop problems and in particular FJSPs because they are NP-hard problems. In this paper we propose a method for generating a set of feasible schedules for a given FJSP.

Computer Simulations for Stability Analysis of a Numerical Procedure for Crossbar Packet Switch 交叉分组交换机数值过程稳定性分析的计算机模拟

Abstract The paper is concerned with the problem of calculating the bound of the throughput (THR) of a crossbar packet switch. For this purpose a suitable numerical procedure is used. The input data for the procedure are the results of computer simulations executed on a grid-computational structure (www.hpc.acad.bg). The modeling of the THR uses MiMa-algorithm for a crossbar packet switch, specified by the apparatus of Generalized Nets. For studying the stability of the numerical procedure we use a modified family of patterns for i.i.d. Bernoulli uniform load traffic simulation. The obtained results show that the numerical procedure is stable which means that small input perturbations result in small changes in the output.

Methodology for Testing of a Drive System with Remote Monitoring and Control 远程监控驱动系统的试验方法

Abstract A laboratory drive system with remote monitoring and control has been designed and built. An asynchronous motor controlled by a soft starter and remote monitoring and control by contemporary devices has been provided. This laboratory system is used for research and in teaching. In this paper, methodology of tests is developed. Some examinations are presented. Thus an experimental verification of the developed methodology is carried out. Systems for remote monitoring and control on energy consumption, efficiency and proper operation of the controlled objects are very often used in different spheres of industry, building automation, transport, electricity distribution network, etc. The optimal solution for each particular case could be achieved but a complex research and testing have to be previously performed using the developed methodology.

Abstract Theoretically inherent properties in the class of MIMO V-interconnected systems incline options for arising arbitrary shifts in their fundamental properties, thus demonstrating full-scale plant behaviors when running in a large process range. This curious effect leads to far more serious functional changes in the process properties from mere plant parameter variations. The phenomenon is commented occasionally by some authors in somewhat empirical forms, but nevertheless, it is not yet comprehensively examined in the light of the aggravating subsequences to the control efforts and the task of efficient process diagnostics to that class of plants.
