Pengantar Falsafah, Dan Isu, Semasa Rujukan, Mahasiswa Universiti Awam, Dan Swasta
The subject of Philosophy and Current Issues is one of the compulsory subjects introduced in 2019. Its coverage that encompasses all undergraduate students from public universities as well as private universities in Malaysia made a great demand for a reference book. This article review the book entitled “Pengantar Falsafah dan Isu Semasa: Rujukan Mahasiswa Universiti Awam dan Swasta” that examine the contents of each chapter of the book with its importances. The main themes of the chapters are emphasized with relevent examples and discussions along with its effectivenesses. Some suggenstions on minor improvements are further elaborated towards the end. Ultimately, the readers would benefit this book in enhancing their understanding on philosophy and its braches as well as its relations to current issues

Service-Learning (S-L) offers a meaningful learning experience in theory and practice through efforts to serve the community to meet their needs. Islam views serving the community as one of the best practices. Therefore, the values fostered through S-L are not separate from religious elements. This paper explores the impact and experience of S-L learning that has been experienced by students of Islamic Studies Programme from the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FPI), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Malaysia. It analyzes the written responses provided by participants who have answered two open-ended questions in the questionnaire. A total of 256 participants have answered the survey and also the open-ended questions. The collected data were processed thematically using ATLAS.Ti software. There are three main themes that emerge from the participants' answers showing that the services provided show that Islam is a religion of holistic,
