The paper describes the origins, organizational specifics and territorial placement of people’s courts in Altai Governorate in 1920-22 in the context of the region’s remoteness. The organizational specifics come down to the fact that the courts in the governorate were established unevenly, that is, not at the same time. The author analyzes the order in which individual people’s courts in different uyezds of the governorate were established. The paper outlines the staffing issues that Altai Governorate was faced with when it came to the people’s judges following the Bolsheviks’ rise to power as well as before and after the judicial reform of 1922.

The paper reveals the possibilities of using the technopark of universal pedagogical competencies established within the framework of Altai State Pedagogical University as a tool in the professional training of future primary school teachers. The authors reveal the main conditions and stages of integrating the technopark’s resources into the process of developing professional competencies of bachelors and discuss how the technopark can help enrich the contents of design and technological training courses, practical and laboratory classes of academic disciplines. In conclusion, the authors share expert knowledge on conducting a demonstration exam using at the technopark as part of the final state certification.

The reader’s diary is considered as a tool for achieving an educational goal, contributing to the development of independent thinking and expanding knowledge of lexical and grammatical material. The article presents the techniques and methods of organizing the learning process, describes the levels of formation of the reader’s competence.

The paper examines the features of emotional intelligence characteristic of adolescents prone to victim behavior. Theoretical analysis of primary sources and the results of the author’s empirical research serves as the foundation for research. The research methods used in the paper include theoretical methods (analysis, generalization of primary sources), collection of empirical data (testing), processing of results (mathematical statistics). Conclusions are drawn about the differences in the emotional intelligence of adolescents: 1) who are not prone to victim behavior, who are prone to it and who have unrealized and realized victimization, 2) who are prone to various types of victim behavior.

The paper presents the results of a study of the relationship between the components of psychological well-being and perfectionism in students. Psychological well-being is a basic subjective construct that expresses a person’s perception and assessment of their functioning, taking into account the existing capabilities. Perfectionism is considered as a personal characteristic that may influence the overall and professional development of students. The description of the internal structure of perfectionism is based on a three-dimensional model of perfectionism developed by Paul L. Hewitt and Gordon Flett.

The paper considers the staffing of educational institutions in Siberia with military instructors. The methodological basis of the study is the specific historical and systemic structural approaches to the analysis of the issues under consideration. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that, on the basis of unpublished archival documents, the number of military instructors in educational institutions in Siberia during the Great Patriotic War is studied for the first time. The study ultimately reveals the core issue of the time: the lack of professional military instructors.

The paper considers material items used in the wedding rituals of Ukrainian rural population of Altai Krai in the 1910-1960s. The items under consideration include bride’s dowry, wedding clothes, and wedding food. As a result, it is revealed that the socio-economic factor had the greatest influence on the process of introducing innovations, which led to the loss of traditional ethnic characteristics. Despite this fact, some traditional elements, such as a wedding wreath, kvitki, and some Ukrainian dishes, retained their presence.
