Sustainable analysis of liver tumour detection using various segmentation techniques 基于各种分割技术的肝肿瘤检测可持续分析

The death rate of liver cancer disease is the most astounding among every other kind of tumour. Survival from liver disease is specifically identified with its development at its discovery time. Early recognition of liver malignancy is the most encouraging approach to reduce the risk for survival. Staging of cancer at its investigation is the major predictor of survival, and it determines the treatment. The proposed system mainly focuses to detect the segmentation region of the liver tumour, the proposed algorithm of preprocessing is performed in histogram equalisation and the segmentation region is detected by using Otsu's segmentation, fuzzy C-means clustering and region-based active contour method. The research gap for the base paper is to find the tumour region in the liver. Simultaneous occurrence of more than one primary nodule in the liver region leads to the malignant stage.

Most of the industries perform drying of solids to enhance the durability of the product. The solid nature and available resources will play an important role in the selection of the dryer and there are more than a hundred types of dryers currently used in different industries. In the dryer, the heat to wet solids is supplied in different ways such as conduction, convection or in combination. The application of fluidisation phenomena to drying will have several advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are the drying rate is higher than most of the dryers, due to the high transfer rate of heat and mass and also applicable for various ranges of particle sizes. In the present study, ambient air is used instead of hot air and also the heat to wet solids is provided from the wall. The significance of conventional parameters and effect of the mixture of solids have been studied.

Structural and compositional evaluation of waste cooking oil algal oil biodiesel using FTIR and GC-FID for improved fuel properties 利用FTIR和GC-FID对废食用油藻油生物柴油进行结构和成分评价,以改善燃料性能

Energy demand and need for sustainable sources for fuel production have resulted in the development of alternative fuel technologies. Waste cooking oil (WCO) and algal oil (AO) extracted from Chlorella variabilis have been transesterified to yield WCO biodiesel (WCOBD) and AO biodiesel (AOBD). The present study aims to produce biodiesel by blending optimised proportion (1.25%) of AO with WCO to get 1.25AO-WCO for making biodiesel with improved properties. The reaction conditions for transesterification of 1.25AO-WCO were augmented by response surface methodology tool to attain supreme fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) yield of 98%. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) of 1.25AO-WCO BD were performed to prove the production of biodiesel and their FAME profile is determined using gas chromatography with flame ionisation detector (GC-FID). Properties of 1.25AO-WCO BD were determined for 1.25AO-WCO BD and observed to meet ASTM standards apart from exhibiting better properties than biodiesel made from 100% WCO.
