Impact of Gender on the Relationship between Job Satisfaction & Psychological Wellbeing of Indian Employees 性别对印度员工工作满意度与心理健康关系的影响

A central point adding to the capacity of organizations to adapt to the turbulent environment is the advancement of job satisfaction and employee well-being. The purpose of this study was to understand the effect of gender on the job satisfaction and psychological well-being of the employees working in Indian private sector. Consequently, the relationship between job satisfaction and wellbeing was explored. A cross-sectional survey-based research design was adopted using data from 160  employees (equal number of males and females) of private sector organizations in North India. The Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ) and The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) were administered to gain insight into the levels of job satisfaction and well-being respectively. The results showed that gender did not play a role in determining job satisfaction and psychological well-being in Indian employees. Further, it was seen that job satisfaction and psychological well-being were positively correlated. The study advances the existing work and adds to the limited literature of Indian studies on the relationship between job satisfaction and wellbeing in the Indian private sector.

Environmental Awareness, Environmental Attitude And Consumer Attitude- A Study Of Correlation In Variables 环境意识、环境态度与消费者态度——变量相关性研究

Abstract - The current study was conducted to find the correlation between the variables environmental awareness, environmental attitude and consumer attitude. The study was done on 600 respondents. The area of study was Dehradun, Haridwar and Roorkee, three cities in Uttarakhand, India. The objective of the study was to find the respondent’s level of environmental awareness, to measure their level of environmental attitude and consumer attitude and to find out if a relationship existed between environmental awareness and environment attitude and its dimensions. Further the relationship between environmental awareness and consumer attitude was also found. Factorial design was used and levels of awareness were matched with levels of occupation and gender. Stratified random sampling, a probability sampling technique, was used to choose the sample. Environmental Awareness Test (EAWT) by Dr. K. Yeshodhara was used to assess the environmental awareness of the subjects. Taj Environmental Attitude Scale (TEAS) by Dr. Haseen Taj was used to measure the environmental attitude of the respondents and Consumer Attitude Scale (CAS) was designed by author to measure the consumer attitude of the respondents. Correlation was calculated to analyse the data and to test the proposed hypothesis. The findings revealed a significant correlation among the variables. THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE ON ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT IN PUBLIC HOSPITALS IN ETHIOPIA 埃塞俄比亚公立医院组织文化对组织承诺的影响

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment at public hospitals in Addis Ababa. Structured questionnaires were used for collecting data. Organizational Culture Index and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire instruments were used to measure the independent and dependent variables of the study respectively. The gathered data was statistically analyzed with SPSS version 20. Sample of 405 respondents were chosen from the target population of 10800 through stratified and simple random sampling techniques. Out of the 405 questionnaires distributed, 365 copies were returned and 305 copies (90.12% response rate) were valid and used for analysis. The study revealed that bureaucratic organizational culture was the most dominant culture type prevailing at public hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The analysis of organizational commitment survey showed that the level of affective and normative commitment was low, whereas the level of continuance commitment was moderate. The correlation analysis suggested that the relation between innovative and supportive culture with organizational commitment was positive and significant. Finally, public hospitals in Addis Ababa are recommended to give more emphasis on improving the innovative and supportive culture instead of bureaucratic culture as the later showed no significant effect on employee commitment. A Case Study on Psychological and Physical Stress Undergone By Married Working Women India 印度已婚职业女性心理与生理压力个案研究

Abstract: Women in India have come a long way after independence from just a skilled homemaker to acquired skills and capabilities at par with their male counterparts. But still more conflict arises with the working mother who has to fulfill the demand at work followed by various demands at home. This can leave a working woman anxious and stressed. The past research on the study of stress in working women was dealing with the surveying of working women carried out in various institutions like hospitals, BPO’s.,etc. The current study deals with the study of working women at Agni College of Technology (Educational institution).The present study is based on primary data through pilot study. Questionnaire was the main tool for collecting the primary data. The research analysis was carried out by percentage evaluation method. This study revealed that stress in married working women is caused due to long working hours, various family and official commitments, harassments and improper work life balance. Such type of stress leads to various problems such as prolonged headaches, hypertension and obesity. Stress can be relieved from institutional support, balancing work and life by spending time with family, entertainments, yoga and rest. ATTRIBUTES AFFECTING CONSUMERS TO ATTRACT TOWARDS MALL - AN EMPIRICAL STUDY 影响购物中心吸引消费者的因素——一个实证研究

India is one of the last Asian economies to liberalize its retail sector. The study is an attempt to understand the shopping mall as an emerging format, attitude of the customers towards them and will analyze the factors that determine repatronage intentions of shoppers. A systematic study covering all these aspects is essential as it has a major impact on both shoppers as well as numerous retail formats that are evolving under organized retailing in India.The study was conducted with the objective to identify the various factors that affect and induce a customer to visit a mall in Indrapuram & Vaishali (Ghaziabad , India) Malls  i.e. what were the attributes he/she expects in a mall and further, to identify the various segments of mall visitors. A statistical approach "Factor Analysis" was used for the study. Finally, practical implication concerning the customer's expectations and typology of mall visitors was highlighted.
