Based on patent database, this article conducts patent analysis from patent applications, IPC technical field distribution, the main research institutions of the Internet of Things to reveal the development trend, technical hotspots, leading enterprises, technology leaders, also maps current technology patents, and access to essential strategic information and innovation. The results put forward suggestions on development and utilization of the Internet of Things.

Based on the concept of translational eco-environment, oriental ecological wisdom, and the Darwinian principle of natural selection, the concepts of eco-translatology and relevant theoretical ideas were proposed and explained by Professor Hu Gengshen from 2001 on. This interdisciplinary theory of translation studies and ecology considers translation as a translator's adaptation and selection activities, and its translation methods include the linguistic, cultural, and communication aspects. Eight Hundred Years of Chu State is a large-scale documentary about Chu culture. It systematically tells about the great history of the 800 years of Chu State, interpreting the brilliant and splendid civilization of Chu with its magnificent cultural relics, and revealing the laws worth pondering behind its ups and downs. Taking as examples the Chinese-English subtitle translations of the documentary Eight Hundred Years of Chu State, this paper aims to take the interdisciplinary theoretical perspective of eco-translatology to explore its implications for documentary translation from the linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. Aiming also to improve the English translation of Chinese-made documentaries to a higher level, this paper hopes to promote the spread of Chinese traditional culture, especially Jingchu culture, and to enhance the world's understanding of China and its splendid culture.

This paper seeks to explore the sour relationship underlying Muslims and their Western counterparts; a relationship that spanned several centuries and traversed regions and climes. The paper surveys the long years of contact between Islam and the West and shows how, despite the long years of contact and interactions, the relationship has continued to remain sour, not so cordial and often replete with conflict, clashes and at times, wars and bloodshed. The paper surveys this age-old relation and shows how it is punctuated by animosity, mutual distrust, bigotry, fear and uneasy calm. The Paper concludes by debunking the treachery, the sinister motives as well as the pathological hatred of anything Muslim and Islamic that is often exhibited by the West on the nation of Islam.

The financial statement applies tools, analytical techniques and required methods for business analysis. It is a diagnostic tool for evaluating financing activities, investment activities and operational activities as well as an assessment tool for management decisions and other business decisions. The analysis of financial statements, respectively the analysis of the financial reports are used by managers, shareholders, investors and all other interested parties regarding the company's state. Managers use financial reports to see the situation in which the company stands and then provide information to shareholders, to see how reasonable are the investments made in the company. This paper describes and evaluates Basotho customary marriage as entailed in Sesotho law. It argues that lobola (dowry) and polygamy permitted by Sesotho law are detrimental to the dignity of women, and consequently ought to be obliterated. It also argues that under customary marriage the re-marriage of widows is a barricade caused by the customary practice of the bohali (the dowry). It further argues that the long standing practice of the bohali in customary marriage perspicuously does injustice to the family of the bridegroom. Regarding polygamy allowed by customary marriage under Sesotho law it is argued that this explicitly amounts to the dehumanization of women. Ideally the paper is an attempt to rescue women from the long standing suppression by men Lesotho in as far as Basotho customary marriage is concerned.

This primary objective of this study is to identify the determinants of customer satisfaction for KFC in Vietnam. Fast food industry developed rapidly in an emerging economy like Viet Nam. Current competition in Vietnamese fast food has required companies to pay more attention to customer satisfaction. Data is collected from KFC's customers in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. The research model is adopted from the SERVQUAL model (Parasuraman et al., 1988). The findings show that the main determinants of customer satisfaction of KFC Vietnam are Food Quality, Ambience, Price, Service Quality. Among these determinants, ambiance causes the most impact on customer satisfaction, following up by food quality and price. Managerial implications for KFC and other fast-food companies are discussed to improve customer satisfaction.

This work examines the designations for tripods on the tablets PY Ta 641-1952 and PY Ta 709+712, which have been puzzling and misinterpreted since their discovery until now. These tablets are examined in connection to each other, using a detailed etymological analysis, the common sense of accountants, and close observation of the sketches on the tablets. It is explained why the term “keresijo” has nothing to do with Crete and why “ai-ke-u” or “ai2-ke-u” as traditionally read on the tablets mentioned is not a personal name. The result is a translation given for the texts related to vessels and especially tripod cauldrons on these tablets.

This article scrutinizes the phenomenon of Local Government Election (Local election) of a regency at the easternmost province in Indonesia, Jayapura Regency of Papua. During the election period, there was a great number of violations against election rules which were not only sporadic but also designed on a structured, systematic and massive scale – using the term of Indonesian Constitutional Courts. The violations were related to the role of the oligarchs who cooperatively worked hand in hand to win the political contestation. The activities of the oligarchs which involved clerical-technical issues are undoubtedly prohibited by the Law of Pilkada. The clerical-technical issues include unlawful activities such as replacing some officials of polling station a day before the election, manipulating the official report documents like voting and the calculation of the votes forms, certificates of results and holographic forms of the votes calculation details and records of the results of valid vote calculation at the polling stations in massive numbers. In the Jayapura Regency Election, it is found that the practice of the election administration regime is defied by an electoral shadow structure played by the Oligarchs. Thus, this article argues that the political decentralization results in a powerful control of the local oligarchs on the Local Elections which must be solved for the sake of Indonesia’s democratization.
