Segmented CRC-Aided Spinal Codes with a Novel Sliding Window Decoding Algorithm 一种新的滑动窗口译码算法

In this letter, we propose a segmented CRC-aided spinal code (SCA-spinal code) where an encoding structure is designed based on a novel sliding window decoding algorithm. The proposed algorithm reduces the decoding computation significantly by terminating the decoding process earlier when the segment decoding results fail to pass the corresponding CRC check. The decoding results are checked once a segment decoding is complete. Furthermore, we propose a transmission strategy after the decoding process fails to save the transmitting symbols and therefore improve the spectral efficiency. The numerical results show that our proposed SCA-spinal code reduces decoding complexity and improves spectral efficiency.

Towards Buildings Energy Management: Using Seasonal Schedules Under Time of Use Pricing Tariff via Deep Neuro-Fuzzy Optimizer 面向建筑能源管理:基于深度神经模糊优化器的使用时间定价电价下的季节调度

Management of increasing amount of the electricity information provided by the smart meters is becoming more valuable and a very challenging issue in modern era, especially in residential sector for maintaining the records of consumers’ consumption patterns. It becomes the necessity of retailers and utilities to provide the consumers more effective demand response programs for handling the uncertainties of their consumption patterns. In order to deal with the unceratian behaviours of the consumers and their unprecedented high volume of data, this work introduces the deep neuro-fuzzy optimizer for effective load and cost optimization. Three premises parameters: energy consumption, price and time of the day and two consequents parameters: peak and cost reduction are used for the opti-mization process of the optimizer. The dataset is taken from the Pecan Street Incorporation site and Takagi Sugeno fuzzy inference system is used for the evaluation of the rules developed from the memebership functions of the parameters. Membership Functions (MFs) are chosen as Guassian MFs for continuously monitoring the consumers’ behaviours. Performance of this proposed energy optimizer is validated through the simulations which shows the robustness of optimizer in cost optimization and energy efficiency.

Proactive Eavesdropping via Jamming for Trajectory Tracking of UAVs 基于干扰的无人机弹道跟踪主动窃听

This paper considers that a legitimate UAV tracks suspicious UAVs’ flight for preventing intended crimes and terror attacks. To enhance tracking accuracy, the legitimate UAV proactively eavesdrops suspicious UAVs’ communication via sending jamming signals. A tracking algorithm is developed for the legitimate UAV to track the suspicious flight by comprehensively utilizing eavesdropped packets, angle-of-arrival and received signal strength of the suspicious transmitter’s signal. A new co-simulation framework is implemented to combine the complementary features of optimization toolbox with channel modeling (in Matlab) and discrete event-driven mobility tracking (in NS3). Moreover, numerical results validate the proposed algorithms in terms of tracking accuracy of the suspicious UAVs’ trajectory.

An Ad Hoc communication system for an Efficient Milk collection within White Areas 在白色区域内高效收集牛奶的自组织通信系统

The dairy industry holds an important part of the food sector of Senegal. Nevertheless, milk collection is a difficult logistical problem that has long been of interest to researchers. In addition, some dairies notably those in Senegal’s sylvo-pastoral zone (Ferlo), encounter many problems related to the impossibility of communicating with their surroundings because they are in white areas ( i.e areas where the services of telecommunications operators are not available). This affects their efficiency in the daily collection of milk from the production unit to the milk processing unit. In this paper, thanks to the ramp-up of LPWANs, especially Long Range(LoRa) technology, we build a communication system that facilitates the collection, manipulation and presentation of data related to milk collection in these areas. The system enables the creation of a system that helps in the decision making to support logistical management in the milk collection sector.

An ANTLR-based Feature Extraction and Detection System for Scratch 基于antlr的划痕特征提取与检测系统

Scratch, a visual programming language used by youth, has received widespread attention of education field. Quality Hound is an effective tool to detect the features of Scratch. However, its detection rules are not sufficiently complete, which incurs incomprehensive results. In this paper, we propose an ANTLR-based feature extraction and detection system to solve this problem. Specifically, nine novel programming feature detection rules are abstracted and applied in our model. The experimental results show our system can effectively extract programming features from projects and provide feedback for students and teachers.

Beam Alignment Game for Self-Organized MmWave-Empowered 5G Initial Access 自组织毫米波增强5G初始接入的波束对准博弈

Using millimeter wave (mmWave) bands in 5G self-organizing networks has a significant potential to provide high bandwidth. However, the major challenge lies in initial access beamforming where mmWave communications suffer from deafness problem that may cause a significant loss in the received power especially when narrow beams are adopted. This paper tackles the problem of beam alignment in mmWave 5G. The problem is formulated as a non-cooperative game between transmitter and receiver where each player tries to align its beamforming direction in a way to obtain maximum throughput. We first provide a full characterization of pure Nash equilibria. Then, we propose a gradient descent algorithm that allows users to learn their optimal beamwidth. Simulation results prove the performance of our beam alignment model since mmWave frequencies deliver narrow beams with high gain and significant capacity.

A light-weight implementation of latch-based true random number generator 基于锁存器的真随机数生成器的轻量级实现

A TRNG (True Random Number Generator) is an important component for security in mobile computing and IoT. This paper presents an light-weight FPGA implementation of a previously proposed latch-based TRNG, while keeping the quality of generated random numbers. By accumulating the generated random numbers fifteen times with an XOR operation for each output word, the proposed TRNG with 16 latches passed the NIST SP 800-22 test suite, whereas the original TRNG required 248 latches. An important finding of this work is that the quality of random sequence is greatly improved by XOR-ing temporally interleaved series of bits.

Design And Simulations Of Stable Pass-Band Filtering Response Using Miniaturized Element Frequency Selective Surface (MEFSS) 小型化元件频率选择表面稳定通带滤波响应设计与仿真

In this paper, a miniaturized 2-D pass-band frequency selective surfaces (FSS) operating at 3.5 GHz resonant frequency has been presented. Compared to the operating wavelength in free space, the size of the proposed miniaturized element FSS (MEFSS) dimensions are $ < frac{{{lambda _0}}}{8}$. Simulations results ensure that the designed array of 5×5 MEFSS can provide a first-order pass-band filter response with a wide bandwidth of 2.3 GHz. Moreover, this structure can demonstrate excellent resonance stability for both different polarization (Transverse Electric (TE), Transverse Magnetic (TM) mode) and different incident angles up to 45°.

Compared to the operating wavelength in free space, the size of the proposed miniaturized element FSS (MEFSS) dimensions are $ < frac{{{lambda _0}}}{8}$. Simulations results ensure that the designed array of 5×5 MEFSS can provide a first-order pass-band filter response with a wide bandwidth of 2.3 GHz. Forecasting day, week and month ahead electricity load consumption of a building using empirical mode decomposition and extreme learning machine 利用经验模态分解和极限学习机预测某建筑物日、周、月用电负荷

Forecasting of building energy consumption plays a key role in the energy management of the modern power system. However, the noise and randomness in the electricity load data makes it difficult to forecast accurate electricity load. In this paper, a novel scheme namely Empirical Mode Decomposition based Extreme Learning Machine (EMD-ELM) is proposed to forecast the electricity load consumption of a building. Randomness in the electric load data is removed using EMD, whereas, ELM is used to forecast the day, week and month ahead electricity load. To illustrate the usefulness of EMD-ELM, the performance is compared with the renowned neural networks namely Convolution Neural Network (CNN), Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) and ELM. The simulation results clearly indicate that EMD-ELM outperforms CNN, LSTM and ELM in forecasting the day, week and month ahead electricity load consumption of a building.

The Multi User-Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) technique offers big advantages over traditional MIMO solutions. Nevertheless, Nonlinearity of High Power Amplifier (HPA) presents a crucial role in the performance of MU-MIMO systems.This paper investigates the performance of Massive MIMO system in the presence of nonlinear HPA over Rayleigh fading channel. Different receivers and algorithms are used in order to illustrate this fact, such as LS, MMSE, ZF and AMP, are evaluated and mutually compared. Specifically, we assess the effect of the nonlinear distortion on the BER. Numerical results are provided and show the impacts of several system parameters, such as type of receivers, number of antennas, number of users and values of IBO, on system performance.
