In this article, the author came to the conclusion that the unprecedented opposition to the investiga- tion of crimes of the 90s of the past and the zero of these centuries is transformed under the in fl uence of objective and subjective factors and it is increasingly included such a speci fi c phenomenon as adaptive opposition to law enforcement. The article analyzes the modern concept of counteraction to the disclosure and investigation of crimes. The results of the study of criminalistic characteristics of post-criminal activity in the framework of developing the author’s criminalistic concept of its knowledge are used. The results of the study conducted by the author show that the construction and development of the concept of knowledge of post-criminal activities in с riminalistic, is based not only on the presence of existing traditional terms, concepts of categories ( modus operandi, method of concealment, forensic characteristics, traces of crime, etc.), but the identi fi cation and de fi nition of new previously unknown in forensic science phenomena and processes included in it. On the basis of consideration of goals, subjects and results of activity for the fi rst time in forensic science the concept of adaptive counteraction to law enforcement is presented.
