This study aims to identify the degree of cyberbullying in a sample of ninth and tenth grade students in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in terms of gender and social ecology variables. The method used was a descriptive analytical approach. The study used the data elicitation tool that includes eight items developed by Buffy and Dianne (2006) to measure the degree of cyberbullying. The researchers added eight additional items based on the students’ comprehension level. The results showed that there is a low-impact level of cyberbullying on the tested students in Al Ain/UAE. The results also revealed that there are statistically significant differences at (α≤0.05) between the participants who are bullied in terms of gender and social ecology in favor of the students whose parents are of a low educational level and whose mothers are employed. Based on the results, the study concludes with recommendations related to the importance of following social, educational and technical policies to reduce the negative effects of this phenomenon.

Much research has been done related to the influence of the prison environment on the convicted persons, the role and significance of the rehabilitation treatment, the characteristics of the inmates and their connection with the processes of adaptation and the negative consequences of the pains of imprisonment. This research is based on several theories within criminology and penology and one of them being the importation model. This model highlights the importance of the characteristics of inmates, their ethnicity, individual risk factors, previous socialization, internal value system, delinquent friends, criminal history, education and the influence of these characteristics on adaptation processes in prison facilities. The importation theory proposes that the previous life, criminal career and other risk factors shape the way in which young inmates adapt and behave in the institution. This paper will look at the importation theory by examining certain individual personal and family risk factors of young inmates and the impact of these factors prior to and during incarceration in an educational correctional facility. The analysis is based on qualitative data collected by conducting in depth interviews with young inmates to capture their attitudes and experiences in relation to these factors. The survey presumes that these risk factors that contributed to crimes outside are also risk factors that influence institutional adjustments and behaviour of the inmates.

It is commonly recognized that special legislation shall be crafted to regulate consumer credit and financial services. Disclosure mandates have always been considered the preferred method of regulation in comparison with the substantive restrictions. Russian law is no exception. Most of the provisions of the Federal Law No. 112-FL of 05 May 2014 on Consumer Credit deal with the information duties of financial institutions. The problem is that only a small part of these duties reflect the specific features of the credits drawn with payment cards. Considering the fact that these types of credit have become more popular in Russia ignoring of these features by a law maker can lead to dramatic consequences. The purpose of the paper is to assess the effectiveness of disclosure mandates provided by the Federal Law No. 112-FL and, based on the results of such an assessment, propose possible changes to disclosure regulation which can improve the protection of consumers‟ rights. The paper starts with a description of the features of credit drawn with payment cards which influence the consumers‟ ability to understand and use information. It proceeds with a general description of disclosure rules to give certain guidelines for further analysis of the provisions of Russian law. Then a detailed description of the disclosure mandates stipulated by the Federal Law No. 112-FL and applicable to credit cards and overdrafts is presented. The assessment of the current provisions and proposals for their improvement are provided in the final part of the paper.
