Beetles of the superfamily Hydrophiloidea of Kemerovo Area 克麦罗沃地区亲水总科甲虫

An annotated checklist of beetles of the superfamily Hydrophiloidea of Kemerovo Area is given. It includes 55 species of three families: Helophoridae (11 species), Hydrochidae (3) and Hydrophilidae (41). Helophorus discrepans Rey, 1885 and Cryptopleurum crenatum (Kugelann, 1794) are recorded for the first time for the Asian part of Russia. Helophorus aspericollis Angus, 1973 and Enochrus melanocephalus (Olivier, 1792) are recorded for the first time for the Western Siberia. Occurrence of species Cercyon ustulatus (Preyssler, 1790) in Western Siberia is confirmed. A total of 31 species are recorded for the first time in Kemerovo Area. РЕЗЮМЕ. Приведён аннотированный список жесткокрылых надсемейства Hydrophiloidea Кемеровской области. Он включает 55 видов из трёх семейств: Helophoridae (11 видов), Hydrochidae (3) и Hydrophilidae (41 вид). Helophorus discrepans Rey, 1885 и Cryptopleurum crenatum (Kugelann, 1794) впервые приводятся для азиатской части России. This work summarizes the current knowledge of terrestrial littoral sand species of Collembola from Madagascar’s western coast, where 15 species have been found. It includes the population variations of this hexapod group in a beach north of Mahajanga sampled for two years round between 2006 and 2018. РЕЗЮМЕ. In the descriptions and diagnoses giving the length to width ratio for the head, pronotum, and elytra, the following standard units were used: 7 standard units = 0.1 mm; thus, 1 standard unit constitutes about 0.0143 mm. Photographs were taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera and a Canon MP-E 65 mm objective using the extended focus technology.

A new species of Pseudargyrochlamys Grichanov, 2006 from South Africa (Diptera: Dolichopodidae) 南非拟蝗蛉一新种(双翅目:蝗蛉科)

records of P. barracloughi and P. jasoni (Grichanov, 2004) from South Africa and Mozambique have been published by Grichanov et al. [2011a, b]. In this paper a new peculiar species of Pseudargyrochlamys from South Africa is described, and an identification key to known species is firstly provided. A new Pseudargyrochlamys species discovered is photographed with a ZEISS Discovery V-12 stereo microscope and an AxioCam MRc5 camera. Genitalia preparations have been photographed with a ZEISS Axiostar stereo microscope and an AxioCam ICc3 camera. Morphological terminology and abbreviations follow Cumming, Wood [2017] and Grichanov, Brooks [2017]. Body length is measured from the base of the antenna to the posterior tip of epandrium. Wing length is measured from the base to the wing apex. The types of new species are housed at the Natal Museum, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (NMSA).

[2011a, b]. In this paper a new peculiar species of Pseudargyrochlamys from South Africa is described, and an identification key to known species is firstly provided. A new Pseudargyrochlamys species discovered is photographed with a ZEISS Discovery V-12 stereo microscope and an AxioCam MRc5 camera. Genitalia preparations have been photographed with a ZEISS Axiostar stereo microscope and an AxioCam ICc3 camera. Morphological terminology and abbreviations follow Cumming, Wood [2017] and Grichanov, Brooks [2017]. Body length is measured from the base of the antenna to the posterior tip of epandrium. Wing length is measured from the base to the wing apex.
