IMPROVING THE COMPETITIVENESS OF FRIED ONION PRODUCTS THROUGH DISSEMINATION OF PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY IN FRIED ONION SMES, NGANJUK REGENCY 通过对炒洋葱中小企业生产技术的传播,提高炒洋葱产品的竞争力

The existence of fried onion processing SMEs has a very important role in the community's economy, this is because of the integration of the upstream and downstream sectors. Fried onion SMEs in Nganjuk Regency have two basic problems, namely limited production capacity and inconsistent quality of fried onions produced. The limited production capacity of fried onion SMEs is due to the fact that SMEs do not yet have adequate frying equipment and the quality inconsistency of fried onions is caused by an imperfect drying process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the internal and external conditions of Fried Onion SMEs in Nganjuk Regency. The method used in this research is SWOT analysis. Fried onion SMEs in Nganjuk Regency with their fried onion products have strengths including Strategic Business Locations, Regional Food Products, Product Prices According to Market, and Affordable Prices. This Fried Onion UKM has the opportunity to increase its competitiveness by optimizing opportunities such as Production Capacity Capable of Meeting the Market, Sufficient Manpower Available, Public Purchasing Power for Relatively High Products, Aid Programs from the Government, and Training Provided by the Local Government in collaboration. Meanwhile, the threats from SMEs are Fluctuating Raw Material Prices, Quite A Number of Competitors for Similar Products, and Differences in Pricing with Competitors.

STRATEGY TO STRENGTHEN THE LEGALITY SUPERIOR PRODUCTS IN PENGADAH VILLAGE, NATUNA REGENCY 加强纳土纳县彭达达村优质品合法性的对策

As an archipelagic country, Indonesia has border areas with neighboring countries. Natuna Regency is one of the outermost regions of Indonesia administratively bordering three countries, namely Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia. The geographical location in the middle of the North Natuna Sea, problems with climate influences is very vulnerable to occur in the agricultural and fishery potential development in Natuna Regency. The majority of the livelihoods of the Pengadah Village residents are fishermen. Implementing the Research Program by the Institute of Research and Community Service, Universitas Brawijaya in Pengadah Village, Northeast Bunguran District, Natuna Regency has entered its 4th year (2021) with the topic of strengthening the institutional and legality for superior products. The Research Program carried out institutional strengthening and legality of superior village products through marketing and branding content training activities, making souvenirs from seashells, developing Geopark tourism, assisting marine cuisine and preparing legal legality for Village Owned Enterprises, Tourism Awareness Group and Batik SMEs. The acceleration of Pengadah Village to become an independent village in the National Border area requires cooperation between Universitas Brawijaya and the local Natuna Regency Government.

The development of science and technology give impact for society. Nowadays, technology and humans have become an inseparable part. People use technology especially in digital technology to make easily and simplify the work. Digital technology provides services to access various information and services to support human activities. Creators strive to develop innovation and creativity in digital technology more broadly. Digital technology innovations have also been developed to improve business service activities. The innovation in business is needed to enlarge the market, optimize distribution channels, and maximize business productivity. Therefore, digital services or platforms are indispensible needed for business development, especially on a micro scale. MSME managers can use digital technology, one of which is in their distribution and logistics channels. Digital technology innovation can be embedded in the request process and between products to customers. In addition, and delivery services can also be applied to ordering and delivering raw materials from suppliers. By using digital technology for distribution and logistic it will increase efficiency and productivity of MSMEs. Responding to the problems that arise, Malang Go become a digital technology innovation to increase the efficiency and productivity of MSMEs in Malang City. Malang Go offers delivery or courier services for products produced by MSMEs. Malang Go has excellent services that support the sustainability of MSME business in Malang City and does not set high-cost services and increases the price of products produced by MSMEs. This Start Up only charges administration fees to MSME partners every 6 months. Thus, MSME owners can increase efficiency and productivity in the business they run. This is one of the advantages of Malang Go application compared to other similar applications.

“SADIQ FILTER” FOR DETECTING TRUE DAWN TO DETERMINE THE BEGINNING OF FAJR PRAYER “sadiq过滤器”用于检测真正的黎明,以确定fajr祈祷的开始

Astrophotography and image processing techniques were introduced as a solution to the problem of determining the beginning dawn time. The results of some research were different with Ministry Religion Affairs and raise doubts for some Muslims then need to require re-verification. Astrophotography, a special method of photography, is recording images of astronomical objects such as the moon, stars, and other celestial bodies. The astrophotography technique is used for the object of the emergence of dawn rays with the assumption that the image before and after the appearance of dawn will have different pixel values. Then, a combination of astrophotography and image processing techniques is used to analyze pixel changes to identify the beginning of dawn. The image processing technique used is edge detection. Edges correspond to changes in pixel intensity. The easiest way to detect the beginning of dawn is to apply a filter that highlights this change in intensity in both directions: horizontal (x) and vertical (y). An edge detection filter "sadiq filter" is modeled as a result of the development of the Sobel and canny filters. Sadiq filter has been applied to the dawn data in Labuan Bajo and can distinguish the image before and after dawn well. It is hoped that the "sadiq filter" can be developed into a filter from an application or software so that it can be used by the wider community to solve the problem of determining the early morning prayer time. DISSEMINATION OF COLORING TECHNOLOGY WITH NATURAL DYES ON HANDCRAFTED BATIK 手工蜡染上天然染料染色技术的传播

Handcrafted “Batik Sidomulyo” is an agro industrial development as an attempted agroindustrial support in Sidomulyo Flower Resort Village that adopted ornamental plants, flowers and local wisdom themed batik motifs for supporting tourism potentials. In 2020, SMEs “Batik Sidomulyo” have been facilitated with Mini Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) so it could decrease difficulties in coloring and liquid waste disposal. These MSMEs have limited technology in the natural coloring production process and coloring. Use of natural coloring is beneficial in color innovation and creation of batik’s quality. The objective of this study is for determining the effectiveness of efficacy in the dissemination of natural coloring production technology and coloring process with natural substance on batik. The implementation method through technical counseling and dissemination about natural coloring production technology that utilises local wisdom such as “secang” and “tingi” wood (red color), jackfruit wood and “jelawe” (yellow color) and nila/indigo leaf (blue color). Using natural coloring proved to be effective in increasing the competitiveness of handcrafted market. Implementation of activities involves practitioners from SMEs handcrafted from Trenggalek that organised training as well as mentoring on natural coloring producing process and coloring process until batik finishing process for 5 days. The efficiency level of technology dissemination are the knowledge and skills improvement of handcrafted batik so could produce natural coloring independently as well as to improve the quality of the handcrafted that have the competitiveness as one of the travel souvenirs.

In 2020, SMEs “Batik Sidomulyo” have been facilitated with Mini Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) so it could decrease difficulties in coloring and liquid waste disposal. These MSMEs have limited technology in the natural coloring production process and coloring. Use of natural coloring is beneficial in color innovation and creation of batik’s quality. The objective of this study is for determining the effectiveness of efficacy in the dissemination of natural coloring production technology and coloring process with natural substance on batik. The implementation method through technical counseling and dissemination about natural coloring production technology that utilises local wisdom such as “secang” and “tingi” wood (red color), jackfruit wood and “jelawe” (yellow color) and nila/indigo leaf (blue color). Using natural coloring proved to be effective in increasing the competitiveness of handcrafted market. Implementation of activities involves practitioners from SMEs handcrafted from Trenggalek that organised training as well as mentoring on natural coloring producing process and coloring process until batik finishing process for 5 days. WIND-WAVE INTERACTION MODELING AND HYDRAULIC PHENOMENON USING FLUME MODEL 用水槽模型模拟风浪相互作用及水力现象

The phenomenon of waves caused by wind is a very common problem in climate-related fields. Research on the wind-wave relationship has been carried out since 1968 by Wu. This research was conducted to determine the effect of wind and wind interaction on water using a flume model but with wind flow approach for low regimes. In low-flow fluid regimes, the potential for wind waves to cause damage needs to be investigated, this is because wind-wave interactions can cause sediment dispersion, sediment mixing cycles in the water column, and sediment compaction. The approach methodology used to determine the effect of wind variables and modeling that occurs in the flume model uses the interaction approach of wind waves and their interactions with the water profile while seeing the results of hydraulic phenomena caused by these interactions using a numerical modeling approach. This study will provide an overview of the condition of the hydraulic phenomenon during the interaction of wind waves and show how the interaction of wind and water occurs on the surface of the water, as well as the potential for large enough hazards for water resource management and disasters in the surrounding community if there is a high risk or threat. what happens if these conditions do not meet climatological safety standards in Indonesia.

One of the differences between types of coffee is the visual appearance of the coffee beans, but it takes long experience and extra precision to be able to distinguish from visual appearance. In this study, a deep learning architecture was developed for image classification based on the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). The system was developed to distinguish the types of coffee in the Dampit area, Malang Regency. The first dataset for Dampit coffee beans consists of four classes, namely Kopi Lanang, Robusta Wine, Lanang Peaberry, and Arabica Semeru. The classification system that was built on the basis of a convolution layer and a classification layer based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) but experienced overfitting. So the solution is to use the GLCM method. The Kopi Dampit classification system can be carried out with application accuracy performance reaching 60% using the GLCM and ANN algorithms. In this study, the CNN method has not been able to optimize training data for making the Dampit's Coffee Bean classification system. The GLCM method can be a problem solution for classification cases with a minimum amount of data and pixel size. The computational load and accuracy are obtained so that the overfitting problem can be solved by the GLCM method.

EMPOWERING THE MAGERSAREN COMMUNITY: TECHNOLOGY DISSEMINATION FOR GROUND COFFEE ADDED VALUE IMPROVEMENT 授权mageraren社区:为咖啡粉增值的技术传播

This paper is aimed to share the community service experiences held at Boro Sumbersari hamlet which is located at 98A UB forest plot. Boro Sumbersari hamlet is inhabited by Magersaren community. The Magersaren community are farmers and forest workers who depend on forest for their livelihoods. Magersaren has been practicing agroforestry for a long time. They grow Robusta and Arabica coffee among other forest plants. Currently coffee is a favorite beverage, the number of its consumers continues to increase. Many people are interested in the ground coffee beans made by Magersaren traditionally, but it has not been widely marketed. The purpose of this community service program is to generate an alternative source of Magersaren household income, through the added value improvement of local flavored ground coffee beans they have. The added value of magersaren’s ground coffee beans can be increased through product development technologies such as attractive packaging techniques and the creation of new variants ground coffe beans by adding brown sugar and powdered ginger. The execution of community service activities that have been carried out consists of: 1)program socialization; 2)focus group discussion; 3)production, packaging and management training; 4)small-business starting up; 5)program evaluation. These community service activities are held during the social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This condition becomes an obstacle to the effectiveness of program implementation. The start-up small business needs to be continuously supported in order to survive through a critical period of business development, especially under economic pressure during the pandemic.

A temperature calibration bath is a calibrator with a uniform liquid enclosure that can be set to a certain temperature for the test point. In this study, a product design was carried out to make a temperature calibration bath instrument by modifying several parts so that it could achieve the desired temperature interval. The QFD approach was used to design tools that are in accordance with the Voice of Customer, among which are a wide temperature range, rust-resistant materials, ease of maintenance and operation, high accuracy, and affordable prices. Furthermore, the design also considered ease of reading the instrument, uniformity and stability of temperature, and speed of temperature change using the appropriate propeller and stirrer. The technical response was determined systematically to fulfil the customer’s wants and needs until the specifications of temperature calibration bath with oil operating fluid was decided.
温度校准浴是一种具有均匀液体外壳的校准器,可以为测试点设置一定的温度。本研究进行了产品设计,通过修改几个部件,使其达到所需的温度区间,制成温度校准浴仪。使用QFD方法设计符合客户声音的工具,其中包括温度范围宽,材料防锈,易于维护和操作,精度高,价格合理。此外,该设计还考虑了读数的方便性,温度的均匀性和稳定性,以及温度变化的速度,使用合适的螺旋桨和搅拌器。系统地确定了技术响应,以满足客户的需求,直到确定了带油操作液的温度校准浴的规格。
