Countermeasures for Local Engineering Colleges to Deal with Engineering Education Professional Accreditation 地方工程院校应对工程教育专业认证的对策

For promoting the reform of engineering education, constructing the quality monitoring system of engineering education in China, improving the quality of engineering education, closing links between engineering education and industry, improving the industrial adaptability of engineering education personnel training, and establishing the engineering education specialty linked with the registered engineer system, promoting the international exchanges of engineering education and achieving international mutual recognition, it is of great significance to carry out the engineering education professional accreditation. In order to provide a reference for local engineering colleges to successfully pass the engineering education professional certification of the Ministry of Education, the engineering education certification system has been elaborated, the difficulties faced by these colleges in the process of carrying out professional certification have been analyzed, and the corresponding strategies have been given in this paper.
为推进工程教育改革,构建中国工程教育质量监控体系,提高工程教育质量,紧密工程教育与行业的联系,提高工程教育人才培养的行业适应性,建立与注册工程师制度挂钩的工程教育专业,推进工程教育国际交流,实现国际互认,开展工程教育专业认证具有重要意义。为了给地方工程院校顺利通过教育部的工程教育专业认证提供参考,本文对工程教育认证制度进行了阐述,分析了这些院校在开展专业认证过程中面临的困难,并给出了相应的策略。

Application of Virtual Reality Technology in Distance Higher Education 虚拟现实技术在远程高等教育中的应用

The emergence of virtual reality technology has provided a new development space for distance higher education. This paper expounds the significance of virtual reality (VR) technology applied to distance higher education, systematically introduces the composition of VR distance education system, and proposes five application modes of VR distance higher education, including self-exploration learning, simulation experiment learning, and distance open learning, distance group discussions and distance education platforms. Finally, the challenges faced by VR technology in the application of distance higher education are summarized based on the current status. Despite of the obvious advantages in higher education, the application of virtual reality technology in distance higher education is a long-term project that requires secular exploration.

Impact of Different Educational Models on Physics Learning Attitude and Learning Achievement 不同教育模式对物理学习态度和学习成绩的影响

Since 90s, various educational models include bilingual teaching, inquiry learning, blended learning had adopted in engineering physics teaching in China. In this paper, Colorado Learning Attitudes about Science Survey (CLASS) is used to evaluate students' attitude change in physics learning with different teaching model. The results show that the models with large workloads lead to a decrease in learning attitude especially the ability in complex problem solving and concept understanding.

Cognitive Biophilia: A Semantic Concept Mental Representation Analysis of Ecology in Children 认知亲生命:儿童生态学的语义概念心理表征分析

Two samples of children, one having low exposure to ecological environments and another one having high exposure to ecological environments, were required to take a semantic concept mental representation study by using a natural semantic net technique. The goal was to explore cognitive biophilia signification (meaning formation) between groups considering kind of exposure to natural settings and gender of participants. Results showed that even when all groups possess similar ecology knowledge (similar to a lay person knowledge of ecology), they impose different meaning formation on their semantic concept organization. It is argued that by considering an assessment of ecology meaning formation, awareness of cognitive biophilia and connection to natural ecology can be improved through educational settings.

The Development of Scaffolding and Its Impact on the Perceived Efficiency of Interactivity in Online Education “脚手架”的发展及其对在线教育互动性感知效率的影响

In view of the critically important role interactivity plays in online education, scholars have highlighted its various essential features and effects. This study argues that in spite of the diversity of the features and effects advocated, the technical attributes alone are hardly sufficient to meet autonomous learners' expectation for the efficiency of interactivity, unless properly-constructed scaffolding is incorporated in online education. To prove the argument, a survey instrument was developed, an empirical study was carried out, data were collected from 299 university students of 3 online learning modes, and the relationship between the proposed scaffolding and learners' perceived efficiency of interactivity attributes was examined by SmartPLS2.0. It was proved that properly-developed scaffolding has significantly positive effect on learners' perceived efficiency of interactivity in online education.

Self-Regulated Learning Process in MOOCs: Examining the Indicators of Behavioral, Emotional, and Cognitive Engagement mooc中的自我调节学习过程:行为、情绪和认知参与指标的检验

Self-regulated learning (SRL) and engagement are important for an individual learner to learn in a MOOC. SRL stresses the learners' learning processes from goal setting and planning to task performance monitoring and controlling, and to reflection of task performance, while engagement highlights three interrelated components including behavioural, emotional and cognitive engagement aspects. To date, no study has examined the two constructs together to investigate participants' learning in a MOOC. This study provides a detailed picture about the specific indicators of behavioural engagement, emotional engagement, and cognitive engagement that participants display when they self-regulate their learning in MOOCs. 83 validated email interviews data were collected and coded based on 9 sub-processes in the three phase SRL model [1], and indicators in the three-component engagement model [2]. The results indicated that behavioural regulation was activated during the forethought phase (e.g. goal setting and strategic planning) and frequently enacted during the performance phase (e.g. task strategies, time management); emotional regulation was reported during the forethought phase (e.g. goal orientation and self-efficacy) and evaluated during the self-reflection phase (e.g. self-satisfaction) but was not explicit during the performance phase; cognitive regulation was reported during all the phases, such as expecting outcomes at the beginning, monitoring comprehensions during the learning, and evaluate the learning after learning).

Integrating Web-based Collaborative Learning into the Pronunciation Curriculum 将网络协作学习整合到语音课程中

Pronunciation learning is a highly individualized process which should be tailored to the specific needs of students of different academic backgrounds and learning styles. For learners of English pronunciation in an English-as-a-Foreign-Language (EFL) context, self-regulated learning plays a key role in determining the learning outcome. In an era where Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) has proven a successful teaching model, one crucial challenge in pronunciation instruction is the transformation from teacher-led classroom lectures to student-centered collaborative learning. In this study, we present our recent experience in the design and implementation of a pronunciation curriculum which integrates Web-based collaborative learning into pronunciation instruction both in and outside the classroom. Through a discussion of the benefits and challenges in adopting such a hybrid approach, we demonstrate how Web-based technologies can be utilized to facilitate the teaching and learning of pronunciation in an EFL context.

With the popularity of the Internet and smart phones, more and more people choose to use mobile phones to learn, which can make full use of trivial time and improve the efficiency of learning. Similarly, using mobile phones to learn, you can get the latest learning information at any time, so you can learn more about the times. With the rapid development of Internet technology, more and more industries use advanced network information technology to manage information. With the in-depth promotion of network technology in the field of education, the traditional education model can not fully meet the needs in the field of education. The concept of a new form of education that combines Internet technology and education, namely "Internet + education" is proposed.. This paper proposes the research and design of the information system of the "Signal and System" course based on the Android platform. The system realizes the basic functions of the answering software, enabling users to use the software to learn related content, and to classify and collect the topics. And the review and study of the wrong questions can make the user grasp the key points of knowledge and attract the learners. The research and development of this system mainly includes system feasibility and demand analysis, system interface design, design and implementation of various functions of the system, and debugging and testing of software. Finally, through the system's multiple test runs, it performed well.

Design and Research of New English Listening and Speaking Teaching Mode under the Background of Mobile Internet 移动互联网背景下新型英语听说教学模式的设计与研究

In The rapid development of mobile technology has provided a new opportunity for the reform of college English listening and speaking teaching mode. This paper will focus on the big data impact brought by the rapid development of mobile internet and the spread of information explosion. Through the feasibility analysis of smartphone-based mobile learning in supporting English teaching, a multi-dimensional English listening and speaking teaching mode under the background of mobile internet is proposed, which provides a realistic basis for the design of mobile learning teaching mode with smartphones as terminals. This research is supported by constructivist learning theory, which solves the problem of lack of contextual interaction in traditional English teaching and limitations of learning time and place. This can lay a solid foundation for improving teaching quality and personnel training efficiency.

Research on the Ecology Model of Crowdfunding and Crowdsourcing for Digital Education Service and its Applications in China 数字教育服务众筹众包生态模式及其在中国的应用研究

Crowdfunding and crowdsourcing in digital education service has become an important content in educational informatization. Different personalized demands from learners for digital education service are increasing day by day, which leads to the asymmetry between supply and demand. This paper aims to solve the asymmetry of supply and demand in education sector under the SISC ecology model based on value chain theory, and also to elaborate the ecology environment in digital education service, as well as the subject and content of crowdfunding and crowdsourcing. Block chain is the protection mechanism for the rights of subject, which improves the development of personalized education. Empirical study and qualitative analysis are used to fulfill the effectiveness of SISC ecology model of CFCS in DES. A case of "Parallel" successfully recommends 10 resources that suitable for the students, which proves the feasibility of the SISC ecology model so as to improve the motivations of CFCS subjects and student' satisfaction. This paper also supports future research by developing a framework for crowdfunding and crowdsourcing in digital education service.
