Applyng Shannon Entropy to Analise Violence Against Women by Departments in Peru 应用香农熵分析秘鲁各部门对妇女的暴力行为

Violence against women in Peru is a topic that is becoming increasingly more visible, facing this reality and the climate of impunity. This article presents a map of information on the departments with the highest rate of violence against women, on a scale of colors. To reach this result, the entropy-weight method was used, which is based on Shannon entropy theory, in order to obtain a ranking. The entropy-weight method was applied to calculate the weights of the criteria; and then, the departments studied were classified according to the results of a weighted sum. The selection criteria that were taken into account in this study were percentage of physical violence against women (C1), percentage of sexual violence against women (C2), percentage of psychological or verbal violence against women (C3), percentage of women who suffered violence and sought help (C4), reported cases of family or sexual violence (C5), the index of gender inequality in the labor force indicator (C6), and cases of victims of femicide (C7). The results shown that the departments that presented higher violence against women were Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Tacna, Tumbes, and Ayacucho.

Maturity Model for Long-Distance Passenger Land Peruvian Transport Companies 秘鲁长途客运陆路运输公司成熟度模型

The aim of this paper is to propose a basic model that allows to evaluate the level of maturity of companies involved in long-distance passenger land transport. Furthermore, this paper will show the current situation of the sector by comparing on the basis of obtained average. Lastly, it will provide an action plan that will have to be followed to improve the level of maturity. To this end, information about transport management models existing in the world will be compiled to enable an analysis of the different variables included in each model and to select the necessary characteristics that may be adapted to the current situation in Perú.

A Gaussian Model for Feature Selection in Protein Fold Recognition 蛋白质折叠识别中特征选择的高斯模型

Protein fold recognition is an important task to discover new biological functions of proteins. In this context, machine learning techniques have been used to protein fold recognition, stating this task as a classification problem. However, in many cases, the similarity of patterns to protein fold recognition becomes this process in a complex task, limiting the performance of the machine learning techniques. In this paper, we propose a feature selection method to support machine learning methods for protein fold recognition, using gaussian distributions in the process of features analysis. We cluster features by gaussian distributions. These clusters give information to reduce the dimensionality of the features. After that, we use baselines classifiers to protein fold recognition, using a well-known dataset for this task. The results suggest that the clustering and reduction of dimensionality of features using gaussian distribution can help to improve the accuracy of machine learning techniques on this task.

Advances and Uses of ICT in Public Health of Peru 信息和通信技术在秘鲁公共卫生领域的进展和使用

Currently, the health sector is a fundamental part in every country, because it satisfies the basic needs of the people. The health sector in Peru has many deficiencies because it continues to apply old systems, where in few health centers have implemented technologies, being the case that technology based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is being used to improve processes in the health sector such as telemedicine, remote diagnosis, informative applications, databases, cloud computing, etc.; due to the relevance in their environment. In this research work, tables will be presented indicating the benefits of the implementation of ICT in the field of health in the Peruvian reality. The main purpose of this project is inform about the use of TIC's in Public Health of Peru, also show how TIC's helps in medic centers and can be used for many other things.

Human-Computer Interaction and technology-aided instruction are beginning to focus on Augmented Reality (AR) path due to its ability to support different approaches for learning and entertainment. This kind of technology facilitates the student's attention by merging the real-world with virtual attributes. This paper presents a systematic mapping study of the use of Augmented Reality within video games and educational purposes.

A Visible Fluorescence Method Induced by UV Radiation for Detection of Infestation in Canary Beans 紫外光诱导的可见荧光法检测金丝雀侵染

The proposed study aims to present an algorithm for the detection of infestation of canary beans of the species “Phaseolus Vulgaris” by generating a visible fluorescence under UV radiation, which allows the bean to be distinguished as healthy or infested. Currently, since many of the symptoms of infestation cannot be detected by the human eye, the beans sample analysis is highly subjective. The proposed method uses images of the beans taken under UV radiation within a hermetic enclosure. Then the image is acquired and an image segmentation algorithm is executed in order to identify the beans. Each bean is labeled so that the infestation can be detected by an algorithm based on histogram analysis. For the validation of the proposed method, several samples were evaluated and the results were compared with those obtained by two experts through an exhaustive visual analysis. The results were expressed through specificity and sensitivity, obtaining 99.78% for specificity and 90.70% for sensitivity.

A Fuzzy Logic Controller to Calibrate Color Parameters of a Microscope Camera in Order to Improve Safranin Detection in Digital Images 用模糊控制器标定显微镜相机的颜色参数,提高对数字图像中红花素的检测

This work proposes a fuzzy logic controller aimed to calibrate a digital microscope camera in order to improve the detection of an area stained with safranin in a biological reference sample. The proposed method modulates the acquisition parameters of the device in order to avoid the impact of external noise, which can produce contradictory results in a test-retest validation of the same standard sample. The tests performed show that the proposed method improves the performance of the computational algorithms that aim to detect safranin in microscope images in the presence of varying lighting scenarios and noise. The results were obtained by measuring the correlation between the levels of safranin obtained by chemical tests (Klason test) and those obtained by the detection algorithm. The Pearson correlation coefficient was employed, achieving an average value of 0.7324 without the calibration process and 0.9756 with the utilization of the calibration process that incorporated the fuzzy logic controller.

Scientific Production in the 50 First Universities Licensed by SUNEDU SUNEDU首批授权的50所大学的科学生产

Many rankings that try to classify universities, according to their scientific production, use the number of published and indexed papers in a recognized database. However, it is not balanced to compare the number of articles produced by a university that has 20 professional careers versus a university with only five professional careers. In this sense, in this work, we propose not only to use the number of papers but to divide it by the number of professors. The idea is to balance the comparison between universities of different sizes. As results, a significant variation in the order of the universities was obtained between a ranking that considers only the number of papers and the ranking that we propose where we also consider the number of professors.

However, it is not balanced to compare the number of articles produced by a university that has 20 professional careers versus a university with only five professional careers. In this sense, in this work, we propose not only to use the number of papers but to divide it by the number of professors. The idea is to balance the comparison between universities of different sizes. Automatic Diagnostic System Oriented Efficiency PUMP Testing System Based on Constant and Variable Speed 面向恒变速效率泵测试系统的自动诊断系统

In industry it is common to perform rewinding motor pumps in order to restore operation. This method generates losses in applications that can give the pump due to variation of the electrical parameters and characteristic curves. However, industry does not have a quality control method for this process generating many problems of imprecision and uncertainty. In order to solve these problems is necessary to use the technical standards for varying the operating point of the pump and to generate the desired characteristic curves both in a regime of constant speed and variable speed is made.

Comparative Analysis of Technologies for Audio Data Transmission 音频数据传输技术的比较分析

There are some limitations using wifi, bluetooth or QR code when we communicate two devices on medical, rural or factories environment. In contrast, the communication via sound has interesting advantages over these technologies. In this paper we propose a comparative analysis of technologies for Audio Data Transmission (ADT). We analyze different ADT technologies that we selected validating some features such as the date of the last update or the support for Android operative systems. Subsequently, we tested two Android mobile applications using ADT technologies: Quiet and SinVoice. Also, we used two profiles for each technology: audible and inaudible. The applications send and receive a string as a byte array, and also they capture the delivery time in milliseconds. Then, we evaluated the results obtained through a comparative analysis in terms of distance, quantity of transmitted bytes and the time of sending and receiving of the information. The final results show the delivery time measurements of the technologies for each proposed scenario summarizing in tables and graphs.
