The bending of the rectangular plate exists for a large length comparing with its width as we have considered the simply supported plate. Also, it gets the accuracy, if the plate is attached between enough distance from the ends. This paper concern with the study of bending moment in the rectangular plate by using the thermal stresses. In this paper, we have considered the mathematical model of the unsteady state three-dimensional heat conduction equation for a thick rectangular plate with non-zero temperature initially. We have determined the thermal stresses and the bending moment in the rectangular plate by using the reduced differential transform method. The results are discussed by considering the special cases for copper material. Also, results are shown graphically. The graphs are drawn by using mathematical software Scilab.

Let Γ be a finite group and let S ⊆ Γ be a subset. The Cayley graph, denoted byCay(Γ, S) has vertex set Γ and two distinct vertices x, y ∈ Γ are joined by a directed edge fromx to y if and only if there exists s ∈ S such that x = sy. In this manuscript, we characterize the generating setsS for which Cay(Γ, S) is isomorphic to somealgebraic graphs, namely, unit graphs, co-unit graphs, total graph and co-total graphs.

In this paper we have proved some results on conharmonically flat, quasi conharmonically flat and φ-conharmonically flat LP-Sasakian manifolds with respect to Zamkovoy connection. Also, we study generalized conharmonic φ-recurrent LP-Sasakian manifolds with respect to Zamkovoy connection. Moreover, we study LP-Sasakian manifolds satisfying K*(ξ,U)∘R*=0, where K* denotes conharmonic curvature tensor and R* denotes Riemannian curvature tensor with respect to Zamkovoy connection.

The famous eight queens problem with non-attacking queens placement on an 8 x 8 chessboard was first posed in the year 1848. The queens separation problem is the legal placement of the fewest number of pawns with the maximum number of independent queens placed on an N x N board which results in a separated board. Here a legal placement is defined as the separation of attacking queens by pawns. Using this concept, the current study extends the queens separation problem onto the rectangular board M x N, (M

This paper introduces new parameters called induced vertex stress and total induced vertex stress in G, respectively. For graphs G and H, aspects of the maximum and minimum total induced vertex stress that can be obtained by 1-edge addition and 2-vertex merging are discussed.

In this paper, an attempt is made to study approximate reasoning based on a Type-2 fuzzy set theory. In the process, we have examined the underlying fuzzy logic structure on which the reasoning is formulated. We have seen that the partial/incomplete/imprecise truth-values of elements of a type-2 fuzzy set under consideration forms a lattice. We propose two new lattice operations which ultimately help us to define a residual and thereby making the structure of truth- values a residuated lattice. We have focused upon two typical rules of inference used mostly in ordinary approximate reasoning methodology based on Type-1 fuzzy set theory. Our proposal is illustrated with typical artificial examples.

Let G=(V,E) be a simple connected graph. For each ordered subset S={s_1,s_2,...,s_k} of V and a vertex u in V, we associate a vector Gamma(u/S)=(d(u,s_1),d(u,s_2),...,d(u,s_k)) with respect to S, where d(u,v) denote the distance between u and v in G. A subset S is said to be resolving set of G if Gamma(u/S) not equal to Gamma(v/S) for all u, v in V-S. The purpose of this paper is to introduce various types of r-sets and compute minimum cardinality of each set, in possible cases, particulary for paths, cycles, complete graphs and wheels.
