Review on Muscle Movement Recording System Using EMG 肌电肌动记录系统研究进展

Electromyography is a neurophysiological technique for examining the electrical activity of skeletal muscles. It occurred from the muscle membrane potential. In a healthy muscle at rest, the spontaneous physiological activity can be a record by End plate potential, insertion activity. EMG recording of the activity of selective cranial nerve muscles is currently included in the intraoperative set during surgical manipulation of the brainstem. When during the process, weak muscles can be detected and treat those muscles to regain their function. EMG is also used to diagnose neuromuscular performance. Its gain is less and frequency response may be broader. Using the EMG technique to record the potential of muscle is an easy way to generate the resting potential of muscle.

Modelling of PV systems installations using Geographical Information System:The case of Toluca (Mexico) 基于地理信息系统的光伏系统安装建模:托卢卡(墨西哥)案例

The goal of the paper is determining the available capacity of photovoltaic power generation density of a defined area through a modeling process using GIS. The method identifies the spots, and calculates the available area that receives solar radiation, taking into account geographical characteristics and spatial distribution of spots. Tilt and orientation are also considered to evaluate shading. The program identifies suitable spots valid for PV power generation. Power density is calculated from estimated values of available area and power, and data is corrected for horizontal plane that represents the reference for PV project evaluation. The method has the advantage of determining solar radiation and available area within high accuracy. The simulation results have been compared with the specific requirements for the configuration area, being within the established range, which proves the goodness of the method and verifies the availability of photovoltaic resources for the implementation of a power system. Understanding community attitude towards wildlife sanctuaries plays a pivotal role in conservation. This study assessed the factors that influence community attitude towards the Boabeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary (BFMS) in Ghana. The study was carried out during the months of May and July, 2018 in four fringe communities around BFMS. Data was collected by random household interview (N = 102) through semi-structured questionnaires and key informant interview. The study revealed that attitude was largely influenced by benefits, concerns and culture. Concerns outweighed the benefits as such the local  communities are somewhat positive towards the conservation of the monkeys and what it offers to the communities. Cultural valuation of the monkeys also influenced people’s interactions with wildlife. Fringe communities’ concerns and benefits are key to the management of protected areas and support for conservation at large. As such, measures should be put in place to ensure benefits outweigh the concerns of fringed communities. Keywords: Attitude, benefit, concern, fringe community, Ghana

Public Health Administrative Challenges and Solutions in Disaster Management using Geospatial Technology 利用地理空间技术进行灾害管理中的公共卫生行政挑战和解决办法

India has been rapidly urbanizing. Its state of health, well-being, and infrastructure capacity are in a period of transformation. Through the perspective of a rapidly urbanizing nation, this paper presents an overview of India’s health capacity in managing disaster risks. It looks at demographic, epidemiological and developmental transitions in India and how that impacts decision making for the health sector through the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). This study identifies challenges and provides the solution by implementation of GIS application in health care which will reduce the cost and improve the existing services further benefiting the public health administrative to formulate new policies and accurate decision making with the help of existing data. Feasibility of Temporal Monitoring of Flood Inundated Areas and Crop Damage Assessment using Multi- polarised Temporal SAR Data without any Ground Truth Campaign 利用多极化时相SAR数据进行洪涝地区实时监测和作物损失评估的可行性

Floods are catastrophic events and lead to huge loss of lives and property. Quick assessment and mapping of area affected by the flood water and monitoring of flood event is very important for proper planning and timely rescue operations. Remote sensing technique plays a very important role to achieve these goals as remote sensing image (data) covers large area and the data can be analyzed quickly to provide timely assessment of flood events. However, many times, flood event is associated with rainy and cloudy conditions. Therefore, it is difficult to acquire optical remote sensing images over the flood affected areas. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) ensures uninterrupted satellite data supply as due to longer wavelengths, SAR signal can penetrate rain and clouds. Therefore SAR data is a right choice for flood monitoring and assessment. In this study, monitoring of various flood events along with assessment of crop damage has been done for Khagaria district of state of Bihar in India. Highlight of the study is that the entire study has been carried out without any ground truth campaign. This has been achieved with the help of twelve days and few twenty four days temporal SAR data sets acquired by Sentinel-1 SAR over Khagaria district during monsoon season of year 2016 and 2017. Ground truth information has been compensated by information available in the published literature and basic understanding of interaction of SAR signal with various earth targets especially surface water and vegetation. Change detection analysis has been performed to compare change in flood inundation area from 2016 to 2017 for Khagaria district. In order to make the study more inclusive, crop damage assessment have also been conducted for Khagaria district with the help of crop maps taken from literature. Comparison of area under crop damage for the year 2016 and 2017 has also been included in the paper. Keywords: Feasibility, flood inundation area, SAR, temporal monitoring

RURAL ROAD PAVEMENT SUBGRADE AND SUBBASE IMPROVEMENT USING LIME, FLY ASH AND GEOSYNTHETICS IN SOUTH GUJARAT REGION 南古吉拉特邦地区农村道路路面路基和底基改良使用石灰、粉煤灰和土工合成材料

South Gujarat region comprises of Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Navsari, Valsad and Dang districts. The majority of the region has soil type varying from clayey to clay loam type soil. Also, the average annual rainfall is more than 1500 mm in the region. Some parts of Surat, Navsari and Valsad districts are in coastal region and have soft and compressible clayey soil. Under this environmental scenario of soil, climate and increasing traffic, it is observed that most of the roads suffer from premature failure in terms of heavy deformation, cracking, rutting and stripping, and raveling causing very high maintenance cost for these roads. Therefore, it was felt appropriate to treat the low strength subgrade soil and also to provide locally available subbase material treated with non-conventional materials while designing the flexible pavements. This is necessary in order to achieve both the objectives of durability and economy of pavement construction and maintenance. Accordingly, in the present study, total thirteen rural road sections are selected for subgrade and subbase stabilization with the use of lime, lime-fly-ash mix, lime-fly ash-sand mix and geo-synthetics. The optimum proportion of lime is found in the range of 3 to 5% and that of fly ash is 15%. In case of stabilization with lime and fly ash, it is observed that the field soaked CBR is found to increase from 2–3% to 12–23%, whereas FSI values are reduced by 50%. Also, the cost effective evaluation is also carried out for analyzing the economic benefits of treating subgrade and subbase materials. From this analysis, the construction cost is observed to be cut down to 10–12% by adoption of stabilization technique in case of highly expansive CH soil and compressible soil subgrade. Required subbase of 300 mm is provided in two layers of lower subbase of soil treated with 5% lime and 18% fly ash; and upper subbase of GSB; each of 150 mm thickness. Saving of  424 per cum of subbase is achieved through the adopted stabilization technique. Overall, the cost saving in subbase construction was found to be 5%. The present paper also provides detail discussion of practical challenges in the execution works of road widening with the use of lime and lime-fly ash in remote areas in addition to quality monitoring strategy adopted during construction works as well as post construction assessment of pavement layer properties. Accordingly, in the present study, total thirteen rural road sections are selected for subgrade and subbase stabilization with the use of lime, lime-fly-ash mix, lime-fly ash-sand mix and geo-synthetics. The optimum proportion of lime is found in the range of 3 to 5% and that of fly ash is 15%. In case of stabilization with lime and fly ash, it is observed that the field soaked CBR is found to increase from 2–3% to 12–23%, whereas FSI values are reduced by 50%. Also, the cost effective evaluation is also carried out for analyzing the economic benefits of treating subgrade and subbase materials. From this analysis, the construction cost is observed to be cut down to 10–12% by adoption of stabilization technique in case of highly expansive CH soil and compressible soil subgrade. Required subbase of 300 mm is provided in two layers of lower subbase of soil treated with 5% lime and 18% fly ash; and upper subbase of GSB; each of 150 mm thickness. Saving of  424 per cum of subbase is achieved through the adopted stabilization technique. Overall, the cost saving in subbase construction was found to be 5%. The present paper also provides detail discussion of practical challenges in the execution works of road widening with the use of lime and lime-fly ash in remote areas in addition to quality monitoring strategy adopted during construction works as well as post construction assessment of pavement layer properties. Field Completion of the GIS database of Cameroon base map using the couple: tablet/GPS antenna 利用平板电脑/GPS天线对喀麦隆基地图的GIS数据库进行现场补全

The National Institute of Cartography of Cameroon (NIC) is currently establishing a 1:10,000-scale National GIS data base, from which digital maps are being produced. A new methodology for field completion, which is one of the key phases for the production of a base map, has been implemented in other to meet the requirements of the new database. This method is mainly based on the use of the couple tablet/GPS antenna for surveying, combined with android GIS software used for embedding the first drafts of map sheets. This mapping application consists of buttons which allow executing involved tasks on the field: survey a point, a line, polygon, cancelling a feature or filling an attribute table. The purpose of this paper was to demonstrate the added value of the suggested methodology in terms of accuracy, rapidity and data integration. The results of this case study showed that the achieved accuracy of data collected is around 1 m or sometimes less. The orientation on the field was very fast, and the integration of data collected in the GIS database of NIC was very easy. SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) imagery of the ocean surface obtained from remote sensing instruments is one of the prominent research areas. In this paper, detection of oceanic features from SAR using morphological technique is proposed. The detected surface features are presented in layered form. The main advantage of such representation is features can be easily enabled or disabled on SAR image. Algorithm is tested on Sentinel-1A dataset of ocean surface. Texture Based Segmentation of Remotely Sensed Images 基于纹理的遥感图像分割

Texture based segmentation approach extracts homogeneous regions that have similar texture properties. The texture patterns make use of the gray scale relationship between the center pixel and its surrounding neighbors. In this paper, a novel method is proposed that encodes the spatial relationship between adjacent pairs of neighbors on either side of the center pixel including itself along the given directions in an image. The novelty of the proposed method is that the texture operator is applied on multiple windows of the image to produce a stack of images from which the texture pattern is obtained. The proposed operator is applied on SAR images of ocean surface to detect regions of interest like ship or slick. Keywords: Binary pattern, De-speckle, Gradient, Segmentation, Watershed.

Spatial Assessment of Landscape Structure Changes and Ecological Connectivity in Pariaman Pariaman地区景观结构变化与生态连通性空间评价

The human population grows it has increased built-up areas for residential and infrastructure. This phenomenon has become a threat to the functionality of ecosystems and biodiversity. There many case human activities in land developing used for built-up area, it gives impact as landscape fragmentation and decreases larges of habitat in the last decade. It influences ecological connectivity in Padang Pariaman Regency. The aim of this research to investigating changes in landscape structure and ecological connectivity. The method used in this research is image analysis and spatial modeling ECIb. Data used in this research Landsat TM5 and Landsat OLI8; processing data used geographical information system in map scale at 1:50.000. Result of this research, in 8 years there has found the landscape structure disturbed. The reason the dilemmatic of this landscape structure because of land expansion. From imagery data and comparison between 2010 and 2018, in data 2018 there has many land changes to be semi-natural, plantation, and built-up area, where it also influences ecological connectivity. We found in 2010 where many ecosystems have strong connectivity because of many vegetation on the natural landscape, however, in 2018 the connectivity has decreased because many barrier objects to be problematic of connection to species living in this ecosystem.
