Using Big Data Technology to Improving Navigation Methods for Mobile Robots 利用大数据技术改进移动机器人导航方法

This article describes mobile robot systems and their information management processes that generate the use of Big Data technologies. The features of the application of the group of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) methods for navigating the terrain of mobile robots are considered. An overview of approaches to the implementation of SLAM methods and their implementations on the platform of robot operation system packages is given. The possibility of using convolutional neural networks to improve the accuracy of the SLAM method is substantiated. In addition, this article presents conceptual diagram of the navigation algorithm for a mobile robotic system.

Algorithm for Setting Fuzzy Logical Inclusion Systems Based on Statistical Data 基于统计数据的模糊逻辑包含系统设置算法

An original algorithm for tuning zero-order Sugeno-type fuzzy inference systems based on statistical data is presented. The algorithm is based on selecting areas around the reference points, finding the coordinates of the center of mass of the selected areas, and using them to set up a fuzzy inference system. A convergence theorem is proven for the proposed algorithm. The paper presents the results of studying the quality of the algorithm under conditions of changing the number of membership functions of input variables and the number of statistical data points, on the basis of which the fuzzy inference systems were tuned.

Abstract—The paper considers issues in presenting and assessing the quality of scientific data in the materials science domain. Problems with numerical and non-numerical data of various types are presented using examples of data on the properties of reactor materials. Difficulties encountered in the description of nominal and ordinal data types in materials science are considered. A review of existing schemes for assessing data quality and their applicability in the considered examples of real data is carried out.

Process Models in the Management of the Decision Support System Efficiency in Production Systems 生产系统决策支持系统效率管理中的过程模型

The paper proposes a process model approach to enhance the economic efficiency of production systems driven by the transformation of their IT infrastructure under the dynamics of the external environments. To achieve the goal, a new notation is suggested that allows to formalize processes in organizational systems, allocate the management subject in an explicit form, simulate the work of the process model for the decision support system in order to study its performance and efficiency. As a result of the study, an algorithm has been developed to estimate how the changes of the IT infrastructure parameters affect the efficiency of the production system performance; in addition, this algorithm can be used to determine the key performance indicators of the organizational system through scheduling development plans.

Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of developing an information system for metallographic quality control. The system is presented in the form of its object model and its architecture, which describes the system’s functionality for specialists. Software that performs the functions of automated recognition of metal microstructure images and determining metal grades is presented. The comparative results of metallographic analysis based on the developed tools are demonstrated.

The article describes a general method of estimating average hitting times and the associated probabilities for homogeneous finite Markov chains. Recurrence relations for the estimated values and probabilities are obtained using fundamental formulas of the law of total probability. The described method is applied to three problems of a coupled Markov chain of the VKF method; in each case, the resulting recurrence relations are solvable for exact solutions.

Analysis of Developments in Arctic Studies Using Bibliographic and Grant Databases 利用书目和资助数据库分析北极研究的发展

The development of Arctic science in 1980–2020 is analyzed. The sources of raw information are the bibliographic databases of the Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus, and the grant databases of the National Science Foundation of the United States and the Russian Science Foundation. The subject domains in the spotlight are worldwide scientific output indicators, indicators of countries and groups of countries, and of leading organizations; theme-based structures of the studies; scientific cooperation and citation rate indicators; and the number of Arctic projects launched annually by the science foundations of Russia and the United States. The Web of Science Core Collection and Scopus are compared according to the main parameters of Arctic science. The main topics of the Arctic projects launched in the United States and Russia in 2022 are identified with the help of grant abstracts.

Scientometric Analysis of the Use of the Term “Economic Landscape” “经济景观”一词使用的科学分析

The purpose of this work is to present the results of the analysis of bibliometric data on the term “economic landscape” in order to identify centers of knowledge generation and to assess its knowledge and relevance. As part of this study, a hypothesis was put forward regarding the lack of due attention to the presented scientific term. The calculations are based on the methods of scientometric analysis of bibliographic data to determine the volume and distribution of scientific publications across time and space. Cartography methods were also used in this work. The bibliographic basis of the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.Ru and the pool of publications in the Scopus database were taken as a data source. In the course of the study, internal research fronts were identified, and an examination of scientific publications was carried out. Conclusions are drawn regarding the growing interest of representatives of different branches of knowledge in the topic under study. The results of the study may be of interest to both economists and specialists in the field of scientometrics.

Abstract—

This article presents a concept of a research performance monitoring system. The following models are developed, described, and introduced: a set-theoretic model that includes three logical layers—organization, information, and function; an information model that details the content of the information layer of the semiotic model; and a function model of the system for scientometric monitoring of research performance, based on the principles of automation, identification, reliability, reproducibility, verification, and indicator variability and reusability, as well as the FAIR methodological principles for scientific data exchange. It is demonstrated that the proposed conceptual model is in line with current trends in the development of global research communication, and its implementation would create a number of positive technological and economic effects for Russian science.
