Altogether 103 specimens of Eucrostes indigenata (Villers, 1789) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae: Geometrinae: Comostolini) are deposited in the Hungarian Natural History Museum. The species was found in the Carpathian Basin in 1895 for the first time, and the latest record dates back to 1974. Although the first record from Grebenac (Serbia) was mentioned in several references around the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, apparently it was forgotten later, and it was neglected by most authors of the recent decades. The voucher specimen of the first Hungarian record is illustrated. A case of mislabelling in Imre Frivaldszky’s collection is documented. The first record of the species from the Dodecanese Islands (Rhodes), Greece, is presented.

The first inventory of Cerambycidae species kept in the collections of the Republic of Moldova is presented. A total of 121 species belonging to 60 genera and 6 subfamilies is listed, of them 5 are cited for the first time in the country. The specimens were collected between 1912 and 2019 and are kept in four entomological collections in the capital city Chişinau: the Museum of Entomology, the Institute of Zoology, the Museum of the Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection, the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History and the Museum of the State University of Moldova. The list of Cerambycidae species known to occur in Moldova has been expanded to 148 species.

A new faunistic record and the description of a new species of Sisyra Burmeister, 1839 (Neuroptera: Sisyridae) are presented in this paper: Sisyra bureschi Rausch et Weißmair, 2007 is reported for the first time from Sweden, and Sisyra mononoke sp. nov. is described from India, Kashmir. Additionally, Sisyra flavicornis Comstock, 1918, a species described from India, is proposed to be removed from Sisyra.

Paromius gracilis (Rambur, 1839) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Rhyparochromidae: Rhyparochrominae: Myodochini), a species broadly distributed in the Afrotropical region and subtropical parts of Eurasia, is reported for the first time from Hungary, considerably extending its known range. The identification, distribution and bionomics of the species are reviewed and the significance of the new record is briefly discussed.

The polyommatine lycaenid butterfly Pseudolucia jujuyensis Bálint, Eisele et Johnson, 2000 (Lepidoptera) was described on the basis of a single male from Coraya, Humahuaca, Jujuy, Argentina; its bionomics has remained unknown. Based on subsequently collected materials the species is now recorded from Yavi in Argentina and Torotoro in Bolivia (the latter representing a new country record). Eggs are recorded from Cuscuta sp. (Convolvulaceae), a suspected host plant of the larva. The bionomics and behaviour of the species are discussed. The species is considered to be endemic to the cold arid steppe (Prepuna) vegetation of low diversity, found along the eastern side of the Andes below the Altiplano in Bolivia and Argentina.

An adult female individual of Gryllomorpha dalmatina Ocskay, 1832 was observed at the beginning of October 2019 in Gyarmat, Hungary. The cricket was found in an old tub inside a disused part of a house. It w as not the first time that this species was seen in a building outside the Mediterranean part of Europe, however it is its first Hungarian record. With one figure.

This paper presents an updated and annotated checklist of Myrmeleontidae (Neuroptera) of Hungary. Currently 16 species with valid faunistical records are known; the presence of Myrmeleon hyalinus Olivier, 1811, ignored by most authors, is confirmed, and the omission of Synclisis baetica (Rambur, 1842) from the Hungarian checklist is verified. An illustrated identification key is given to the 16 species present and further 15 species might potentially occur in Hungary

One Thysanoplusia orichalcea female specimen was collected in Szakály, Tolna county, for the first time in Hungary. Occurrence of the species in Hungary is not unexpected, and it could repeatedly migrate to Central Europe in the next years due to climate change. With 3 figures.
