: The goal of this study consists in investigating the shading effect on a novel architecture of PVG (Photovoltaic Generator) introduced in this paper. This architecture is constituting of three PV modules in series connected. Two of them are constituting of amorphous silicon cells in series connected. The third module is constituting of monocrystalline silicon cells in series connected. This architecture is conceived as a PV concentrator where the two amorphous PV Modules are located in the lower position and the third one is located in the focus. The upper module absorbs the solar rays reflected by the two other modules to gain the maximum of solar energy. This architecture is introduced in order to solve problems existing with the tandem solar cell’s architecture proposed in literature. Those problems are the mismatch between cells and both complicated fabrication and costs of tunnel junctions. In this paper, MATLAB/SIMULINK is used for modeling this architecture and studying its characteristics ( I-V and P-V) in case of partial shading. It was found through this study that the maximum power provided by the PV concentrator, is influenced by the partial shading. To solve this partial shading problem, in this work, we make this new architecture as a solar tracker. The implementation of this solar tracker, is performed using arduino card.

: The purpose of this study is to identify the areas of training that can better equip female practitioners in their career pursuit in Macao's lodging industry - the second largest industry after the gaming sector. The liberalization of the gaming sector happened in 2003 and brought about an explosive economic growth as well as a structural shift toward a gaming-industry dominated economy. By then, the number of hotel premises increased from 73 with 9,280 rooms in 2003 to 132 hotel premises with 42,000 rooms in 2020, and currently the lodging industry took up 7.8% of the total working population with 30,900 employees, among which 14,600 were female. In search of the competencies that increase the upward mobility of female practitioners in this industry, the study will adopt qualitative research methods through semi-structured interviews with 17 manageress in any section within the hotels. Thematic Content Analysis approach would be used for coding, theme identification, classification, and interpretation to examine and identify the competencies for manageress in Macao's lodging industry. Understanding this aspect would help educators to design and provide training for current and future manageress.

: Badak LNG is a liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing company in Indonesia. As one of the business units in Badak LNG, the Maintenance department requires an integrated and contextual performance measurement system that can measure the system performance, monitor the status, and provide appropriate feedback for continuous improvement. However, the maintenance department has no integrated performance measurement system, which translated from corporate and mission and vision. To develop performance of a maintenance management system, performance improvement efforts need to pay attention to the factors that make up the contextual maintenance management system. This research aims to develop a strategic maintenance performance measurement system using a combination of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) with Amendola's Four-Stages Model framework. Furthermore, performance indicators are selected using the statistical method obtained from questionnaires distributed to all production divisions in Badak LNG, as the maintenance management system stakeholders. In addition, the research analyzes the relationship between attributes in the maintenance management system using correlation and comparison methods using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Implementing the new performance measurement system is hoped to help the maintenance department make decisions in managing the maintenance system more effectively to realize and achieve its mission and vision. This research is limited for developing a new performance measurement system using the Five-Stages and BSC framework to manage the maintenance system at Badak LNG.

: The objective of this study is to propose a model of business success factors for micro-entrepreneurs. The model is to comprehend and understand of what factors lead to micro entrepreneurs' success. Initially, the study reviews the literature and formulates hypotheses before proposing a model of business success factors for micro-entrepreneurs relevant to the current situation. Although many models have been proposed, they are less likely to emphasize on technology adoption, which is becoming paramount in the new daily lives due to the covid19 pandemic. Hence, it is hoped that the new model will provide beneficial insights to entrepreneurs, academicians, government agencies, and policymakers in formulating strategies and actions for the success and sustainability of micro-entrepreneurs.
