Vacuum electron devices (VED's) in THz regime require very high cathode current density. A cathode is made out of nano-powder, containing Yttria-scandia-tungsten and Ba-Ca-aluminates. Emission >70 A/cm2 achieved when tested in analytical chamber containing anode, AES and THEM. These results will be presented.

The primary goals are discussed in this work without solution them practical realization of the holographic microscope is impossible. Let's list these problems: 1. Necessity of achievement of the permission of inter nuclear distances at visual supervision; 2. Performance of requirements to a thickness of investigated object; 3. Optimization of conditions of coherent transmission waves in the position sensitive detector (PSD).

While in operation cathode spot of vacuum arc spouts plasma jets, liquid metal drops and splashes [1]. Plasma jets velocity comes up to ~106 m/s, liquid metal drops velocity comes up to ~104 m/s. Meanwhile, for many years researches take continued interest to the problem of pure plasma production [2], it is connected with practical application of vacuum discharge in the process of filming during cathode sputtering under vacuum, in case of determination of vacuum breakers critical operation etc.

The effect of titanium content on the impedance characteristics of TbTixOy EIS sensors was investigated by means of C-V method. The bulk resistance increases with increasing pH value of a solution. Finally, the TbTixOy EIS device measured at the inversion regime exhibited higher impedance as compared to the accumulation and depletion regimes.

Emission distribution of the modern thermo and field emission materials and the correct method of its determination 现代热场发射材料的发射分布及其正确的测定方法

It was demonstrated that all thermo-emission materials possess considerable emission heterogeneity; therefore the current take-off shall be described accordingly. An original current take-off equation was suggested with account of emission heterogeneity. The equation structurally represents a linear first kind Fredholm integral equation. It was demonstrated that the inverse problem - emission heterogeneity determination from emission test results - is ill-posed and requires involvement of a priori information for its solution. Good agreement of theoretical and experimental results was demonstrated.

The principal problem, which arises at construction of multibeam cathode units, is provision of small spread in emission parameters of separate emitters in the unit preserving the mechanical strength and the shape stability of the cathode unit. The problem is reduced to task of effective attachment of emitters to their seats in the holder of the unit.

In-situ non-destructive method of surface analysis at plasma/ion treatment is presented. A differentially pumped energy analyzer is used for ion scattering and ionized recoil spectroscopy under grazing incidence conditions in automated ion mass monochromator. Build in Penning plasma source is used for plasma/ion treatment of targets.

BAC method of increasing the efficiency in klystrons 提高速调管效率的BAC方法

The method BAC that allows increasing the efficiency of klystrons up to 80% on a short length of interaction space is proposed. It includes several series of bunching (B), alignment velocity spread of electrons (A) and collecting particles-outsiders (C). Comparisons of traditional bunching and the BAC bunching are carried out. First comparison is 2 devices in S-band with same length - BAC method leads to 10% increase of efficiency. Second comparison is 2 devices in L-band with same efficiency - BAC method leads to 2 times diminishing of the length of the interaction space.
