Fundamentals of water electrolysis 水电解基础

Abstract The thermodynamics of the water dissociation reaction is introduced. The role of operating temperature and pressure is discussed. The fundamental aspects of water electrolysis including a discussion of half-cell reaction mechanisms are summarized. The energy, coulombic, and total efficiencies of water electrolysis are defined.
