A bio-inspired method for segmenting the optic disc and macula in retinal images 一种在视网膜图像中分割视盘和黄斑的仿生方法

In this paper, Ant Colony System (ACS) based segmentation method is proposed and its features are used for segmenting the optic disc and macula in the retinal images. The suggested ACS-based segmentation approach employs intensity (gray-level) and colour as distinct characteristics to localise and segment the optic disc and macula in the retinal images. The evaluation and assessment of the performance of this nature-inspired approach for automatically separating blood vessels in retinal images by computer on standard retinal image databases revealed that it obtained the best separation of pixels that only belong to a blood vessel above all previous findings. The degree of accuracy of the proposed methodology approaches the best levels of accuracy achieved by techniques using supervised pixel classification algorithms.

Deep learning approach-based hybrid fine-tuned Smith algorithm with Adam optimiser for multilingual opinion mining 基于深度学习方法的混合微调Smith算法与Adam优化器的多语言意见挖掘

A deep learning-based Hybrid Fine Tuned Smith Algorithm with Adam optimiser (HFS-AO) is introduced for multilingual opinion mining. Initially, data are collected using the web scraping algorithm to collect three different languages data: Marathi, Hindi and English. After the data extraction, the annotation process is suggested to label the collected data using the Zero-shot instance-weighting technique. Further, pre-process the data to remove unnecessary noises and symbols. After that, text vectorisation is performed using Naïve-Bayes vectorisation with Laplace smoothing. Finally, the Fine Tuned Smith algorithm with an Adam optimiser is proposed for polarity classification. From the three languages, the article regulates that it was possible to determine whether an opinion is negative, positive or neutral. The Python Jupiter software is utilised for this research to evaluate the proposed method's performance. The findings illustrate that when compared to other languages English language accuracy is higher which is about 98.8%.

Cardiac arrhythmia refers to a variety of heart rhythm disorders in which the heartbeat is irregular, rapid or sluggish. Arrhythmias come in a variety of forms, some of which have no symptoms. When symptoms are present, palpitations or a sense of a pause between heartbeats may be noticeable. In more extreme instances, light-headedness, fainting, shortness of breath, or chest discomfort may develop. While most arrhythmias are harmless, some can cause serious complications such as stroke or heart failure. Others might lead to cardiac arrest. Arrhythmia affects millions of individuals throughout the world. Nearly half of all deaths due by cardiovascular disease, or roughly 15% of all deaths globally, are caused by sudden cardiac death. Ventricular arrhythmias account for approximately 80% of sudden cardiac death. Arrhythmias can affect people of any age, although they are more frequent as they get older.
