Studying semantic processes in word families is relevant. Such research is essential for both word formation and lexicology since these transformations lead to a change in the quantitative and qualitative composition of the family (up to its disintegration), as well as to the emergence of new lexical units. The article aims to consider the processes of semantic decorrelation in the word family with the base -lag-/-lozh-. Research methods included synchronicdiachronic analysis, structural-semantic analysis of the word, inductive method consisting in the examination of case studies, analysis of verb families, and quantitative evaluation of the obtained data. The article considers the main causes of the semantic dissimilation in the word family with the root -lag-/-lozh- and the emergence of new meanings. The article concludes that the semantic dissimilation of the allophones -lag- and -lozh- is ongoing. In detail, verbs with the allomorph -lag- lose their connection with the original spatial meaning and form new, abstract meanings. The research reveals that the aspectual correlation of verbs with the allomorphs -lag- and -lozh- was largely destroyed, which led to the emergence of suppletive aspectual pairs with the roots -lozh-/-klad-.

The article provides a general idea of the formation and evolutionary dynamics of E. I. Nikitina’s methodological system created to develop schoolchildren’s speech. This approach is embodied in the teaching materials and study guides by the scientist-practitioner. The research convincingly proves that the scientist built and methodologically supported a holistic, multi-aspect system for the speech development of schoolchildren from the 1st to the 10th forms. E. I. Nikitina herself called it a practical methodology for speech development. As the main results of the study, this paper gives evidence that the textbooks by E. I. Nikitina, on the one hand, continue the Russian educational traditions of schoolchildren’s speech development. On the other hand, they facilitate those innovations that characterise the modern methodological system of teaching the Russian language. The article shows that E. I. Nikitina’s practical methodology for speech development is particularly notable for the systematic exploitation of the educational potential of Russian language lessons based on working with text. Moreover, her approach provides methodological support for forming students’ communicative competence; it promotes schoolchildren’s speech development in conjunction with the development of their thinking. The methodology is oriented to creative speech development in schoolchildren; it systematically implements problem-based learning techniques which are relevant in the modern educational paradigm, as well as facilitates critical thinking, reflective techniques, and so on.

The research explores the changes undergone by comparative figurative meaning constructions (metaphorical and similative) in modern prose texts in comparison with earlier periods of Russian literature development. The article aims to identify trends in the evolution of comparative constructions in modern Russian prose. The need for a multidimensional description of linguistic processes in modern literary speech determines the relevance of the study. One such process is the evolution of figurative comparison in comparative constructions. We analysed the material of the works by such modern Russian prosaists as Yu. Buyda, V. Zalotukha, Ye. Vodolazkin, A. Ivanov, Z. Prilepin, A. Ilichevsky, T. Kibirov, A. Matveyeva, O. Slavnikova, M. Stepnova, D. Rubina, G. Yakhina and others. Additionally, we used contexts obtained from the National Corpus of the Russian Language. The research employed descriptive, structural-semantic, and comparative methods. The main attention is given to the appearance of new elements in the traditional range of comparative metaphorical and similative constructions. They denote realities which have recently emerged, including those related to computer technology and terms from various fields of science. The article concludes that in modern prose texts, the range of figurative comparative constructions is expanding on the basis of genus-species and synonymic relations. The revival of comparative constructions is accompanied by frequent concretisation of figurative comparisons, which increases the size of such constructions. As a result, they can include one-word definitions, semi-predicative phrases, and subordinate clauses. Thus, the figurative comparison becomes detailed and multidimensional. At the same time, there is a tendency to a stylistic degradation of figurative comparison used in modern Russian prose.
本研究通过与早期俄罗斯文学发展的对比,探讨了现代散文文本中比较比喻意义结构(隐喻和类比)所经历的变化。本文旨在探讨现代俄罗斯散文中比较结构的演变趋势。对现代文学话语中语言过程的多维描述的需要决定了本研究的相关性。其中一个过程就是比较结构中比喻比较的演变。我们分析了俄罗斯现代散文家如余的作品材料。拜达,V. Zalotukha,叶。Vodolazkin, A. Ivanov, Z. Prilepin, A. Ilichevsky, T. Kibirov, A. Matveyeva, O. Slavnikova, M. Stepnova, D. Rubina, G. Yakhina等。

The article considers some lexico-semantic features of the novella "In Bad Company" written by Vladimir Galaktionovich Korolenko. The research focuses on such significant lexico-semantic fields as "Life", "Home", "Family" and "Memory" associated with the use of antithesis in the poetics of the work. The article also analyses the meaning of the title of the novella, as well as the antithesis of "decent company" vs "bad company" and determines the role of contrasting the ruins of the count’s castle with the vault of the old Uniate chapel. It is shown that repeated naming is an important means of artistic expressiveness in the novella as it performs various functions (semantic, expressive-stylistic (emotional-expressive), euphemistic, text-forming). The paper also considers some nominative series of repeated naming which are significant for the image composition of Tyburtsy, Marusya, Vasya, and other characters, as well as for the description of the castle ruins, the vault of the old chapel, and so on. The crucial role of lexical repetition and the functions of comparative constructions revealing the protagonist’s personality traits are highlighted. The research methods included linguistic commentary, descriptive method, and semantic-stylistic text interpretation. In some cases, the research used feature (componential) analysis of linguistic units.

It is particularly important to analyse the typical mistakes schoolchildren make in their final essays. This work enables us to identify the gaps in learners’ knowledge resulting in inaccurate expression of thought, violation of logic, and stylistic dissonance. The article considers various typologies of errors obtained from schoolchildren’s essays. We have identified the most common grammatical, lexical, and stylistic errors. The first group includes an incorrect use of aspectual-temporal forms of the verb, participial and adverbial participial phrases, errors in sentences with homogeneous parts, and other issues. Lexically, students tend to choose incorrect words, violate lexical combinability and so on. Stylistic mistakes involve unnecessary use of low colloquial and colloquial vocabulary, literary vocabulary, including officialese, an improper use of figurative and expressive means, and other issues. The paper concludes that schoolchildren’s essays aim to be as literary as possible. Learners use standard constructions, "tried-and-tested" in many works.

The subject of the study is "The Forged Coupon", one of the later stories by L. N. Tolstoy. The article considers how Tolstoy’s main discoveries are implemented in the text from the standpoint of constructing a literary narrative. The article presents the novella from the perspective of the writer’s creative mastery evolution. The research employed end-to-end text sampling, semasiological analysis based on lexicographic sources, subtext explication techniques. The study also used psycholinguistic approaches to examine the emotional pattern of the text. The ideological plane of the content is interpreted by identifying key words (heuristemes). The article characterises the dynamics of the narration pace, the nature of the development of the compositional plot lines. It also reveals fragments of a convoluted, compressed narrative and compositional parts based on precedent texts. The study demonstrates L. N. Tolstoy’s techniques for semantic extension of vocabulary and attaching additional connotations to the usual meanings of lexemes. In addition, the paper characterises the forms of syntactic constructions and a special kind of Tolstoy’s tale (or skaz), as well as reveals the semantic charge of foreign inclusions. The research shows the continuity between the mature and late Tolstoy’s style in highlighting a significant artistic detail, embodying the inconsistency of human thinking and emotional states. The article evaluates the influence of the late Tolstoy’s style on the formation of artistic and literary aesthetics of the 20th century.

The article provides a multidimensional characterisation of the conjunction libo (English or). The research is relevant due to the lack of a systematic and complete description of this conjunction in Russian studies. Nevertheless, it is an important means of expressing disjunctive relations. Libo was usually studied together with other disjunctive conjunctions, as well as in comparison with the conjunction ili (English or) although it is the second most frequent disjunctive conjunction. The research is based on the monographic method of studying function words used by the Far Eastern Syntactic School. Each such word is under scrutiny and can be considered as an organising unit of the surrounding syntactic context. The article analyses the constructional properties of the conjunction libo related to the morphological-syntactic characteristics of the word forms it connects. Moreover, the study focuses on the actual syntactic properties dependent on the peculiarities of the syntactic environment around this conjunction (such as generic words, particles, word order, intonation, etc). The research demonstrates that this conjunction is oriented to showing real options, therefore, in general, it cannot express alternative-suppositional and explanatory relations. The article characterises the pragma-stylistic properties of libo. It has been established that, like the conjunction ili, libo is stylistically neutral. Its differenfrom ili is primarily semantic although pragmatic factors are also relevant. The etymology of libo is explained. It is associated with the adjectival word form lyubo with which the conjunction retains a prototypical connection. As a result, the alternatives libo coordinates emphasise not only the different, but also the opposite. Based on the findings of the study, the key conclusion is that there is an ontologically opposed pair of conjunctions libo and ili in modern Russian. They reflect the speaker’s urge to present alternatives as compatible or incompatible.

They reflect the speaker’s urge to present alternatives as compatible or incompatible.","PeriodicalId":477984,"journal":{"name":"Русский язык в школе","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135258471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modern society is undergoing digitisation that affects the formation of schoolchildren as representatives of Generations Z and Alpha. One feature of such learners is clip or mosaic thinking. Modern science considers rhizomatic thinking as an alternative to clip thinking. Based on the comparison between the electronic hypertext structure and a rhizome, the paper concludes that electronic hypertext is a rhizome. Following rhizomatic thinking researchers, I propose to shape this type of thinking in schoolchildren when working with electronic hypertext. The research has identified the benchmarks for teaching generations Z and Alpha to work with electronic hypertext within the framework of culture-oriented linguistic methodology. The article highlights the significance of students’ learning and research activity in comprehending electronic hypertext as a reflection of the conceptosphere of culture. It has been suggested that the linguocultural concept can be considered as a rhizomatic network «node» or an intersection of meanings transmitted by hypotexts in electronic hypertext. This confirms the potential of studying concepts in the Russian language school course for introducing students to the culture of the people through language.
