Development of LVDC/AC UPS Intergrated Power Conversion System with ESS Function 具有ESS功能的LVDC/AC UPS集成功率转换系统的开发

This paper introduces a UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) system that has an Energy Storage System(ESS) and can provide both LVDC(Low Voltage Direct Current) and AC outputs simultaneously. This system integrates an offline UPS, which is composed of bidirectional inverters and a battery converter, with an LVDC system consisting of a DC-DC converter. The LVDC system is designed to produce LVDC output by sharing the UPS’s DC LINK, thus The LVDC system offers the advantage of compensating for power outages. Moreover, the proposed system has an ESS function that can distribute peak load through load leveling. The performance and functionality of the proposed system were validated through experiments in various scenarios, including normal operation, power outage situations, charging, and discharging.

Development and Implementation of a Visual Alert Program for Bus Arrival Time Using Light 基于灯光的公交到达时间视觉报警系统的开发与实现

This study proposes a program that utilizes Philips Hue smart lighting to change its color based on real-time bus arrival information when users input city name, bus stop name, bus stop number, and route number. The developed program leverages human visual perception, allowing users to easily perceive their departure preparation time through simple changes in lighting color and eliminating the inconvenience of traditional bus arrival notification applications. This efficient system aims to assist busy modern individuals in managing their time effectively and enables them to stay informed about necessary notifications or specific situations while engaging in indoor activities. The expected outcome is to provide an efficient lighting environment that enhances daily living by combining practicality and convenience.
