The Bengawan Solo River passes through and is along the northern area of Bojonegoro City. So that the riverside area in the northern region of this district is generally used as an agricultural area because of its fertile soil. However, the area on the banks of the Bengawan Solo river which is in the center of the city, namely in the area adjacent to the center of government, squares, traditional markets, and the grand mosque, has not been properly planned out and tends to be neglected, giving rise to a slum impression. Whereas the development of livable waterfront areas in areas adjacent to major rivers or the sea (waterfront city), is very important to be realized for the benefit of Bojonegoro residents and the environment of the waterfront area itself. This neglected and slum waterfront area, even though it is in the city center, also creates other problems such as the loss of identity and characteristics of the city of Bojonegoro. This research aims to bridge the difference between empirical conditions in the field and ideal conditions in a riverside area, in order to improve the quality of the area in question. So the proposed design for the revitalization of the waterfront area will not only have broad benefits for residents and the environment, but will also improve the image of the rundown waterfront area into a beautiful and livable waterfront area, thus also helping to strengthen the identity of the city of Bojonegoro. By using qualitative methods and a rationalistic paradigm, as well as in-depth and comprehensive observation and analysis, the design recommendations from this research can be useful for the people of Bojonegoro and are in line with the Government's program.

Islamic housing design concepts can be explored and inspired in designing built environments with Islamic values in Indonesia. Currently, new housing is mushrooming that is being offered by developers. One of the branding strategies undertaken by developers in the city of Depok is to promote shari'ah branding in sales. The purpose of this study focuses on housing that uses the Shari'ah branding strategy in the city of Depok by exploring whether the housing also uses the concept of Islamic architecture. The method used in this study is to use a qualitative descriptive method, where the selection of housing samples has been determined and carried out an assessment based on the data that the author has, namely housing with sharia branding that uses an Islamic architectural style. Previous research discussed the shape, pattern, and character of Islamic residential houses. Meanwhile, in this research, a typological study was carried out on the arrangement of Islamic residential areas, with limited physical and philosophical studies. Based on the results of qualitative research on the Implementation of Islamic Architecture Concepts in Barazaki Residence Housing, Depok, the concept of Islamic Architecture has not been applied either to the principles of architectural appearance or the principles of Islamic architectural space.

The city of Jakarta as the capital city of Indonesia is one of the areas that many people live in. The city of Jakarta is also the center of a rapidly growing economy in Indonesia, so that a large number of residents decide to settle there. This causes the issue of significant population growth every year. This population growth causes an increase in the need for a dwelling. With increasingly limited land in Jakarta, vertical housing such as apartments can be a solution to provide a residence with a large capacity on limited land. In addition, the location of the land to be discussed is in Jakarta Garden City, Cakung, East Jakarta. The East Jakarta area itself is an industrial area, this can be seen from the location of the Jakarta Garden City site which is surrounded by industrial buildings such as factories and warehouses. With the existence of industrial activities around the location causing the environment to be less good due to pollution. Therefore, the application of biophilic design as a design theme can be a solution to this environmental issue. Biophilic itself is a concept that focuses on the relationship between humans and nature or the surrounding environment. In the design process, a data search was conducted that focused on 14 biophilic patterns, which would become a reference for the design. The application of this biophilic concept is expected to reduce the negative impact of pollution produced by industrial areas around the site. The biophilic concept also implements greenery into its design so that it is hoped that this greenery can act as a filter that captures pollution and cools the surrounding air.

Indonesia as a maritime country has potential in the field of maritime affairs and fisheries, but still lacks the number of seafarers. Fulfillment of the quantity can be achieved by providing an education program and improvement of the quality of national maritime education, but the availability of maritime education is still too low, especially in West Java. There are only 7 maritime training institutions that are allowed, so there is potential to plan a Maritime College in West Java, where Subang Regency has the potential. The method used is a literature study, precedent studies, and direct observation related to the title, followed by data analysis including site analysis, user activity analysis, spatial analysis, building analysis related to the basic shape of the building or mass composition, appearance or facade buildings, structures and materials, and then utilities. Furthermore, the design starts with interpreting the basic concept of the idea into a sketch of the shape of the building or mass composition, then it is loaded into a design in the form of shop drawings and perspectives which are visualized in the form of animation or mockups. The purpose of this design is to produce a design concept as a basis for designing and being a solution to the problems. The application metaphor architecture is used to represent and perceive the feelings and the other views of visitors when they see the building, where the building will become a public attraction because it has its characteristics in the design of the building which is inspired by pinisi ship and will become a landmark of an area.

The Talang Semut area in Palembang City plays a central role as a region rich in history and cultural heritage, and is recognized as one of the oldest cities in Indonesia. Interactions with various cultures, including the strong influence of European architecture during the Dutch colonial period, have shaped the distinctive construction and spatial layout of Palembang City. The significant role of Dutch architects in this area further enhances its status as an invaluable cultural heritage site. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the Talang Semut area as a significant legacy of European architecture in Palembang City.
