THE IMPORTANCE OF THE PLAY MATERIALS IN THE AUTISTIC CHILD’S LEARNING 游戏材料对自闭症儿童学习的重要性

The Autism is a Pervasive Developmental Disorder characterized by difficulties in the areas of social interaction, communication and behavior. The Autism has no cure, it is generally diagnosed after the age of three and its treatment seeks to bring a better quality of life to the autistic person. Autistic children have difficulty learning in the traditional way, so it is important that teachers give new meaning to the way they teach, using playful materials for more pleasurable and meaningful learning. In this sense, this research sought to verify how the teaching and learning process of children with autism takes place. To do this, it is important to understand what autism is; analyze how the learning process occurs in children with autism and understand the role of play in the learning of children with autism. This research is characterized as qualitative, as it addresses issues that cannot be quantified; To answer the proposed questions and objectives, a bibliographic study will be carried out, based on books and articles relating to the topic; The research is exploratory in nature, so that it is possible to have a global view of the work, as well as its usefulness for research. Therefore, this work is relevant as it can contribute to reflection on the part of society, educators and family members about how the learning process of children with autism takes place and the importance of playfulness in this regard, enabling a new perspective. about education for children with autism.

LITERACY OF GUINEAN STUDENTS IN RELATION TO OPINION WRITING BEFORE STARTING UNILAB 几内亚学生在开始接受大学预科教育之前的观点写作素养

This work investigates the experience of five Guinean students about opinion writing before starting the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusofonia (UNILAB), this type of writing is requested in admission exam for the selection process for foreign students at UNILAB. Methodologically, the research is a case study with qualitative analysis. Two instruments were used for the initial data collection procedure: the interview and the writing of an opinion article. However, for this text, only the interview part was explored, the answer to two interview questions about the target audience’s knowledge and mastery of writing opinion articles before their arrival at UNILAB. The form of analysis was based on the thematic analysis founded by Minayo (2007). As a result, it is concluded that students have little mastery of producing opinionated genres, before arriving in Brazil, because writing practice is not recurrent during their secondary education in Guinea-Bissau.

With the arrival of information technology in schools, as a teaching tool, a new perspective of work for teachers emerges. Therefore, it is necessary to discover new, more efficient methods and techniques for working with students, awakening in them interest and pleasure in researching, organizing and transmitting their ideas, using the computer. The general objective of this study was to analyze the importance of using information and communication technologies (ICTs) as a playful tool to mediate the learning of children in elementary school II in Recife and the metropolitan region, through bibliographical and field research, with the application of questionnaire with teachers and students of elementary school II. Teachers who use technologies as a playful pedagogical resource to mediate learning report that they managed to obtain better results, because the student learns by having fun and interacting, feeling motivated when leaving the common routine in public schools: the blackboard and the whiteboard marker brush (or even chalk). ICTs facilitate communication between teacher and student, and between student and student, favoring the exchange of information and clarification of doubts about the most different contents, which facilitates student learning and consequent development, as suggested by Vygotsky’s theory. Therefore, we emphasize that it is up to the teacher to know and (re) elaborate knowledge in order to share it with the different students that make up the group. And, to acquire these skills, the teacher needs to receive training that meets the new needs of society. Hence the importance of the State directing investments towards continued training of professionals who make up its educational staff.

The contributions presented address aporophobia in contemporary Brazilian society, focusing on various dimensions of the phenomenon. The contradiction between ethical principles, proclaimed human rights and the practice of systemic rejection of poverty stands out. Aporophobia is associated with hate crimes against the poor, highlighting a conflict between the protection of individual rights and the fight against discrimination. The relationship between economic inequality, structural poverty and aporophobia is highlighted, emphasizing the importance of disseminating the debate in educational and media contexts. The urgency of confronting social inequalities is recognized, especially in the face of necropolitics exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The influence of political speeches on the culture of hate is discussed, pointing to the need for measures that promote social inclusion and the eradication of poverty. In the context of the fight against aporophobia, the importance of effective public policies stands out, aiming at social equity and guaranteeing basic human rights. In summary, the collective contributions converge towards a critical reflection on the construction of a more just, inclusive and humane society, pointing out ways to prevent and eliminate aporophobia.

EVASION FROM IFPE HIGHER COURSES IN THE METROPOLITAN AREA OF THE CITY OF RECIFE 累西腓市大都市区的 Ifpe 高等教育逃学情况

This research discusses a relevant topic in the educational field: the phenomenon of dropout at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco, in Campi Recife, Igarassu and Ipojuca. The courses under analysis were the superior ones that started in 2015 and concluded in the first semester of 2019. This being the time frame takes into account the end of a period of growth of these institutions in Brazil as a whole, as well as the beginning of a phase quite challenging. The general objective of the study was to investigate the causes and consequences of dropout in higher education courses at IFPE in the metropolitan area of ​​the city of Recife. The methodology applied was two moments, the first being a cross-sectional bibliographic review of quantitative and retrospective character. For the second moment, using a questionnaire and structured interview, as to the nature, we understand that this investigation is applied, being understood as a case study, and the qualitative approach used, where they addressed the causes and consequences of evasion in the higher education in the metropolitan area of ​​the city of Recife. The investigated public was composed of students (203) and educators (27), from the 10 higher education courses at IFPE, in the Campi mentioned. And, finally, it appears that, given the detailed analysis of the problems of school dropout. For there to be a possible reintegration, both on the part of educators and students, managing the resources of a teaching institution well is essential to optimize the students’ learning.

This document was prepared based on the critical analysis regarding the evaluation process of learning, and the importance of institutional assessment, in the visions of the following authors: 1. ABREU JR, N., with the Article “Systems of Higher Education Evaluation Brazilian” that discerns as the Institutional Assessment, the Brazilian System of Higher Education Evaluation and academic quality; 2. BRANDALISE, MAT, and Article: “Institutional Assessment of School: concepts, contexts and practices”, which focuses on the external Institutional Assessment, Self-assessment of schools, and institutional development; and yet: 3. SOUZA, SMZL, with the Review “Institutional Assessment: elements for discussion”, which discusses the Assessment practices, the design of the school, and the importance of improving the quality of work. Our main goal in producing this paper was to perform a comparative analysis on the critical contributions of Institutional Assessment for planning and management of diverse knowledge, based on the main themes that are presented in the articles and review analyzed. In our methodology, also, we make bibliographical research of others, to enrich our theoretical foundation and preparation of this article.

SOUZA, SMZL, with the Review “Institutional Assessment: elements for discussion”, which discusses the Assessment practices, the design of the school, and the importance of improving the quality of work. Our main goal in producing this paper was to perform a comparative analysis on the critical contributions of Institutional Assessment for planning and management of diverse knowledge, based on the main themes that are presented in the articles and review analyzed.
