Discrepancy and integration in function spaces with dominating mixed smoothness 混合光滑性占主导地位的函数空间中的差异与积分

Optimal lower bounds for discrepancy in Besov spaces with dominating mixed smoothness are known from the work of Triebel. Hinrichs proved upper bounds in the plane. In this work we systematically analyse the problem, starting with a survey of discrepancy results and the calculation of the best known constant in Roth's Theorem. We give a larger class of point sets satisfying the optimal upper bounds than already known from Hinrichs for the plane and solve the problem in arbitrary dimension for certain parameters considering a celebrated constructions by Chen and Skriganov which are known to achieve optimal $L_2$-norm of the discrepancy function. Since those constructions are $b$-adic, we give $b$-adic characterizations of the spaces. Finally results for Triebel-Lizorkin and Sobolev spaces with dominating mixed smoothness and for the integration error are concluded.

The diffeomorphism group of a non-compact orbifold 非紧化轨道的微分同胚群

We endow the diffeomorphism group of a paracompact (reduced) orbifold with the structure of an infinite dimensional Lie group modelled on the space of compactly supported sections of the tangent orbibundle. For a second countable orbifold, we prove that this Lie group is C^0-regular and thus regular in the sense of Milnor. Furthermore an explicit characterization of the Lie algebra associated to the diffeomorphism group of an orbifold is given.

Rapid mixing of Swendsen–Wang dynamics in two dimensions 二维Swendsen-Wang动力学的快速混合

We prove comparison results for the Swendsen-Wang (SW) dynamics, the heat-bath (HB) dynamics for the Potts model and the single-bond (SB) dynamics for the random-cluster model on arbitrary graphs. In particular, we prove that rapid mixing of HB implies rapid mixing of SW on graphs with bounded maximum degree and that rapid mixing of SW and rapid mixing of SB are equivalent. Additionally, the spectral gap of SW and SB on planar graphs is bounded from above and from below by the spectral gap of these dynamics on the corresponding dual graph with suitably changed temperature. As a consequence we obtain rapid mixing of the Swendsen-Wang dynamics for the Potts model on the two-dimensional square lattice at all non-critical temperatures as well as rapid mixing for the two-dimensional Ising model at all temperatures. Furthermore, we obtain new results for general graphs at high or low enough temperatures.
