Education plays a crucial role in the development of a nation, with teachers as agents of change. Mastery of teacher pedagogical competence is the key to designing effective learning. However, the low achievement of student learning outcomes and teacher competence in Indonesia is still a problem. This research uses the literature study method to explore the importance of mastering teachers' pedagogical competencies in improving the quality of education. The results show that teachers' mastery of pedagogical competence plays a significant role in successful learning. Factors such as lack of education and training, as well as limited teaching experience, affect teachers' abilities. Specific strategies need to be implemented in accordance with the Teacher Pedagogical Competency Standards to improve the quality of education. Ten pedagogical competencies, including mastery of student characters and the use of technology as a learning medium, guide the improvement of education quality. Through the literature study method, this research concludes that teachers' mastery of pedagogical competencies plays a central role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. Special attention to teacher training and development is needed to ensure they can meet professional standards and bring about positive changes in education.

This research explores the role and implementation of the Teacher Code of Ethics in increasing the professionalism of educators in Indonesia, exploring aspects of the attachment of religious values and norms in the context of Eastern culture. The main focus of this research is on the role of Islamic religious teachers, who are inherently expected to comply with the Code of Ethics as ethical foundation in the profession. Using a qualitative approach with literature analysis, this research explores theories that support the role of codes of ethics in the educational context in Indonesia. The National Education System Law and the definition of teachers as professional education personnel are the main basis. The results of this research are the need to instill awareness about the teacher code of ethics, continuous evaluation of its implementation, and efforts to increase professionalism through self-reflection on learning practices. Research also shows that implementing a code of ethics is the main key in realizing the common goal of improving the quality of education in Indonesia. By understanding and implementing a code of ethics, it is hoped that teachers can make a positive contribution to building a reputation and appreciation for their role in the world of education.

Islamic boarding schools are known to the public because many of the students' works are introduced through culture and religion so that these works are known to the outside community. In Islamic boarding schools, students are also taught to study religious knowledge and deepen it in an effort to create a generation whose character is formed in accordance with Islamic law. So it is no longer surprising to find Islamic boarding school alumni who have good scientific character. If you find a work of calligraphy art in a shop, what comes to mind is that this work is one of the works of Islamic boarding school children. So that it attracts the attention of parents to enroll their children in Islamic boarding schools because of the works created by these students. The developments that can be seen at this time are the many impacts of the influence of calligraphy in Islamic boarding schools and outside Islamic boarding schools. The impact of the art of calligraphy has had an influence on the development of Islam. The purpose of writing this article is to find out about the art of calligraphy in Islamic boarding schools. In this research, the author used a descriptive qualitative method through a literature study approach, taking reference material from journals, books, articles, and others, as mandatory material for this research.
