A Case Study of Renal Calculi and Hydronephrosis Treated with Individualized Homoeopathic Medicine 采用个性化同种疗法治疗肾结石和肾积水的病例研究

: Renal calculi is a condition in which one or more stones are present in the pelvis or calyces of the kidney or in the ureter. The objectives of this study are to study the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicine in the management of Renal Calculi and to study the Homoeopathic approach to avoid Surgery and recurrence of Stone formation. Over a period of years, different varieties of Renal calculi were recognized and different types of medical treatment like Lithotripsy, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy and Open surgery came into the fields. Even though surgery helps in removing the stone, it fails to avoid the recurrence. Here the Homoeopathic drugs can prove their efficiency [1] . A 49yrs old male presented with the complaints of frequent and painful urination with pain in the lumbar region which treated with Lycopodium 200 C. This case study stands as further evidence of the value of individualization and, consequently, the effectiveness of Homoeopathic remedies in treating the underlying cause and evacuation of renal stones.

An Experimental Study on a Shwashara (Anti Asthmatic) Ayurvedic Formulation as a Whole & Its Individual Herbs for Treating Cigarette Smoke Induced Asthma in Mice Model 关于 Shwashara(抗哮喘)阿育吠陀配方整体及其单味草药治疗香烟烟雾诱发的小鼠哮喘模型的实验研究

: A quantitative research method allows us to see the effects of changes in the variables of interest by keeping other relevant variables under control. Experimental studies involve the random assignment of participants into different groups (e. g. experimental, control) in order to determine the causal effect of a certain condition (independent variable) on a certain outcome (dependent variable). The experimental study on the current topic has been done to conduct the following – a) Acute Toxicity Test of the formulation and herbs b) Cigarette Smoke Induced Asthma in Mice Model c) Dissection, Hematological study and Tissue Collection for Histopathology of Mice. Experimental studies are considered the gold standard in studies because researchers are able to determine causal effects with more confidence than when using any other research method. This study provides the scientific data for the proper establishment of efficacy and potency of the shwashara formulation (bharangi+sunthi+pippali) 1 and also of its individual herbs i. e. bharangi, sunthi and pippali and demonstration of their anti - asthmatic activity in cigarette smoke induced asthma in mice.

: This study investigates the comparative effects of dexmedetomidine and dexamethasone as adjuvants to bupivacaine in ultrasound - guided supraclavicular blocks for upper limb surgeries. Conducted on 100 patients aged 20 - 60 with ASA - I and ASA - II classifications, the study divides participants into two groups: one receiving bupivacaine with dexmedetomidine and the other with dexamethasone. Key outcomes measured include the onset and duration of sensory and motor blockades, postoperative analgesia duration, time to first analgesic request, and adverse effects. Results indicate that dexmedetomidine significantly shortens the onset and extends the duration of both sensory and motor blockades compared to dexamethasone, providing superior analgesic efficacy and stable hemodynamics.
