Ensuring a harmonious match between the volume of sugarcane and the milling capacity is crucial for achieving an efficient production process. The yearly fluctuations in sugarcane supply depend on the consistency of the raw material and the adaptability of sugar factories to varying supply levels. This study aims to identify the factors that influence sugarcane supply, its uninterrupted flow, and its impact on revenue generation at the "PG Panji" and "PG Wringin Anom" Sugar Factories (PGs). Utilizing both descriptive and analytical methodologies, this study relies on secondary data gathered from Sugar Factories spanning the years 2011 to 2021. The data undergoes analysis using the Multiple Linear Regression Method and Trend Analysis. The results reveal that for PG Panji, sugarcane supply is influenced by factors such as farmers' land area and sugarcane productivity. Conversely, for PG Wringin Anom, supply is influenced by farmers' land area and sucrose yield (rendemen). Over the period from 2011 to 2021, sugarcane supply exhibited fluctuations, with a subsequent downward trend from 2022 to 2026, as indicated by a negative trend. Furthermore, the study discerns that the sugarcane supply does not significantly impact PG Panji's income. However, it does have an influence on the income of PG Wringin Anom. This divergence can be attributed to the distinct approaches adopted by both sugar factories in their sugarcane procurement system (inbound logistics).

Implementation of Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) in coffee farming as an effort to increase productivity. However, many farmers do not apply good cultivation techniques in their farming activities. research aims to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and actions of farmers in implementing GAP. The method used was a survey and sampling technique using non-probability sampling (saturated sampling) of 120 Arabica coffee farmers in Lembah Gumanti and Pantai Cermin Districts, Solok Regency. Data were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics from the results of frequency distribution tables and correlation analysis using Spearman Rank correlation test calculations. The analysis results show that farmers' knowledge of implementing GAP is high, and farmers' attitudes are quite good, while farmers' actions in implementing GAP are in the inappropriate category. Correlation analysis shows a significant relationship (significance 0.05) between knowledge, attitudes, and attitudes towards farmer actions (p= 0.00). There is no significant relationship between knowledge and action (p=0.974). In implementing GAP, farmers need to be given continuous counseling so that their attitudes and knowledge improve and farmers have high motivation to implement GAP.

Deli Serdang Regency is the leading rice producer in North Sumatra Province. The fact is that productivity in Deli Serdang Regency has stagnated. The problem experienced by farmers is that farmers still apply monoculture cropping patterns, namely farming with only one type of crop each year, climate change, and rising input prices. This study aims to determine whether rice farming is run by farmers in Deli Serdang Regency, whether or not it is efficient, and to find out the socio-economic factors that influence technical efficiency in Deli Serdang Regency. Our study uses the Data Envelopments Analysis (DEA) method and Tobit regression to measure the technical efficiency of 400 rice farmers. Our study found that the value of technical efficiency based on the CRS, VRS, and SE assumptions was 0.576, 0.806, and 0.717. These three values mean that inefficient rice farming must reduce inputs by 42.6%, 19.4%, and 28.3%, respectively, so inefficient farming becomes efficient. Our study also found that factors that increase technical efficiency are education, access to credit, access to irrigation, distance to markets, experience, and crop diversification. Factors reducing technical efficiency are climate change and rising input prices.
