A Comparative Study of Male and Female Undergraduate Learners Receiving Varied Instructional Teaching Strategies with Respect to Academic Anxiety 接受不同教学策略的男女大学生学习焦虑比较研究

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference between male and female undergraduate learners receiving varied instructional teaching strategies with respect to academic anxiety. A sample of undergraduate 58 boys and 58 girls studying at Institute of Management Nirma university of Ahmedabad city was randomly selected. For the present study the researcher used a self-constructed questionnaire to study the academic anxiety of male and female undergraduate learners receiving varied instructional teaching strategies. Mean, S.D. and T-test were calculated to analyse the data. The findings reveal that male and female students do not significantly differ with respect to academic anxiety. And both male and female undergraduate students have moderate level of academic anxiety receiving varied instructional teaching strategies in the classroom.

Compensation Package on Public School Teachers’ Work Performance 公立学校教师工作绩效的薪酬方案

This study examined the relationship between the compensation package and the work performance of public school teachers in the Maramag III District, Division of Bukidnon. A standardized survey instrument was used to collect data on monetary compensation, non- monetary compensation, and three dimensions of teacher work performance: task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. The findings showed that public school teachers perceived their overall compensation package, both monetary and non- monetary, to be at a high level. This positive perception was reflected in the teachers' strong task, contextual, and adaptive performance. The compensation package, particularly the monetary components, had a stronger positive correlation with task performance compared to contextual and adaptive performance. These results highlight the importance of considering the multifaceted nature of work performance and the complex relationships between compensation and different dimensions of teacher performance when designing and implementing effective compensation policies. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and school administrators to develop a comprehensive compensation strategy that can attract, retain, and motivate high- performing public school teachers.

Estimating the Mechanical Properties of Marble via the Non-Destructive Method 通过非破坏性方法估算大理石的机械特性

One of the factors that affect the marketing, price, and field use of marble is its mechanical properties. Therefore, determining the mechanical properties of marble is very important. Usually, these properties are determined via destructive and non- destructive methods. In this study, the mechanical properties of ten types of marble collected from different parts of Turkey have been determined by destructive and non-destructive methods. Then, simple regression analysis was used to investigate the relationship between the mechanical properties and the velocity of p and s waves in saturated and dry states. As a result, to estimate the mechanical properties via p and s wave velocity the between of them equations with high correlation coefficients have been obtained.

Magnitude of Urban Flood in Kolkata Municipal Corporation and its Influencing Factors 加尔各答市政公司城市洪水的规模及其影响因素

In last few decades the intensity and frequency of floods has been increasing in Kolkata Municipal Corporation which effects economy and society to large extent. The Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) overviewed the Global trends of different weather events and notes that the frequency of heavy precipitation events has increased over most land areas (IPCC AR4 2007). In last 100 year’s rainfall data shows a cyclic pattern of rainfall intensification and high magnitude storm which led to intensive flood in Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Land use change in Kolkata Municipal Corporation and its surrounding results in reduction of water holding capacity as well a drainage congestion to contribute waterlogging.

OctoVision: A Smart System for Diabetic Retinopathy Disease Detection OctoVision:糖尿病视网膜病变疾病检测智能系统

Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the major cause of vision impairment and blindness in diabetics. Early detection and treatments are critical in preventing irreparable retinal damage. Manual detection of diabetic retinopathy by an ophthalmologist takes a long time, and patients must suffer greatly during this time. This paper presents an automated approach for rapid DR detection using the DenseNet-121 architecture. Our model achieves an accuracy exceeding 80%, with a precision score of 81% and a recall score of 86%, indicating its high effectiveness in detecting DR. Additionally, we developed a server-based implementation where the trained model is deployed. Images captured by a camera are uploaded to a cloud server, which processes them and sends back a diagnostic response. This study contributes to continuing efforts to create efficient and reliable techniques for early DR identification, resulting in earliermanagement and better patient outcomes.

Traditional methods of performance tuning in Database Management Systems (DBMS) are facing significant challenges in adapting to the dynamic nature of modern workloads. Reactive approaches and static configurations often lead to performance bottlenecks and inefficient resource utilization. In response, this paper proposes a novel approach for workload-based performance tuning through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI). By leveraging AI techniques such as machine learning and predictive modeling, the proposed methodology aims to automate the analysis of workload patterns, predict future trends, and dynamically adjust DBMS configurations for optimal performance. The paper discusses the key components of the proposed methodology, including workload characterization, predictive modeling, and adaptive configuration management. A hypothetical case study in an e-commerce database environment illustrates the implementation and potential performance improvements achieved through AI-powered tuning. Furthermore, the paper explores real-world applications, future research directions, challenges, and best practices for implementing workload-based tuning with AI integration. Overall, this paper presents a comprehensive framework for leveraging AI to enhance DBMS performance, scalability, and efficiency in dynamic environments.

By combining IoT and machine learning, large amounts of data can be collected from multiple sources, such as cameras and sensors, and used to train algorithms for real-time, precise identification of individuals. This technology is gaining popularity due to its accuracy, speed, and scalability, making it essential for applications like security and access control. Recognizing human facial emotions is a key focus in today's technological landscape, with robotic applications across various sectors highlighting the importance of emotion recognition for effective human-robot interaction. This project aims to develop and implement a new automated system for emotion detection and facial recognition using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Argemonea Mexicana, generally known as the Mexican prickly poppy of the family Papavaraceae, is a plant that's well known for its medicinal quality. The plant is set up in tropical regions and is used in Ayurvedic, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathic drug practies, Each part of the plant contains bioactive composites that help in treating a variety of affections similar as' HIV', malaria, ringworm infection, fungal Infections & cancer. The plant has been studied in vivo & in vitro the results have been positive. The Plant also contains composites like berberine, argemonine & protopine, which are known for their restorative action. It's considerably used traditionally for the treatment of multitudinous conditions.Aregmone Mexicana is reported to have antimicrobial exertion, crack mending capacity in rats, larvicidal and chemosterilant exertion, and Nematicidal & allelopathic eventuality. In Mexico Infusion of the upstanding part of the plant is used as hypoglycemic. Chemical disquisition of the plant has revealed the presence of alkaloids, amino acids, phenolics, & adipose acids. The upstanding corridor of the plant contain" Isoquinoline" and" Benzylisoquinoline ” alkaloids. Medicinal plant are extensively used in the treatment of habitual conditions, metabolic conditions, and cancer. Argemone Mexicana L.(A. mexicana), substantially set up in the remains of Marathwada( Maharashtra, India), has been used in the treatment of speech diseases. In this research, cold water, and methanolic extricates were arranged from the Argemone mexicana stem and taken off. These extricates were tried for their antifungal and anticancer exercises. The antifungal action was tried exercising the Agar well dispersion strategy, whereas the anticancer motion against eternalized cell lines was examined by the Erythrosin blue experiment.

The format of an abstract varies by discipline but generally includes:  Reason for Writing: Explains the research's importance and why a reader would be interested.  Problem: Describes the issue the research addresses, its scope, and the main argument or thesis.  Methodology: Details specific models or approaches used, or the types of evidence in the research.  Results: Presents specific data or general findings from the research.  State of the Art: Explains how the research adds to the existing body of knowledge, its practical or theoretical applications, and implications for future research. Abstracts can be informative or descriptive. Descriptive abstracts outline the work being summarized, while informative abstracts serve as substitutes for the actual paper by presenting key arguments, conclusions, context, and importance. Passwords and other old authentication mechanisms are becoming less secure as cybersecurity threats continue to change. By utilizing distinctive physical or behavioral characteristics to confirm the identification of anyone gaining access to sensitive data or systems, biometric authentication is a viable alternative (Bhattacharyya, Ranjan, Alisherov, & Choi, 2009). The purpose of this article is to investigate how biometric authentication might improve cybersecurity. It emphasizes the benefits of biometrics, such as their better user experience, multi-factor authentication capabilities, and uniqueness and non-replicability (Bhattacharyya, Ranjan, Alisherov, & Choi, 2009). Concerns and restrictions, including possible vulnerabilities and privacy issues, are also covered in the article. It also covers important factors to consider while implementing biometric authentication, such as safe processing and storage of biometric data (Bhattacharyya, Ranjan, Alisherov, & Choi, 2009). Biometrics are essential for bolstering cybersecurity and reducing the dangers connected with password-related issues since they offer a dependable and secure means of user verification. All things considered, biometric authentication provides a reliable and practical way to confirm user identities, strengthening an organization's security posture and shielding confidential data from unwanted access.
