Composite values of polynomial power sums 多项式幂和的复合值

Let (Gn(x))n=0 be a d-th order linear recurrence sequence having polynomial characteristic roots, one of which has degree strictly greater than the others. Moreover, letm ≥ 2 be a given integer. We ask for n ∈ N such that the equation Gn(x) = g ◦ h is satisfied for a polynomial g ∈ C[x] with deg g = m and some polynomial h ∈ C[x]with degh > 1. We prove that for all but finitely many n these decompositions can be described in “finite terms” coming from a generic decomposition parameterized by an algebraic variety. All data in this description will be shown to be effectively computable.

Quantum Isometry Group of Deformation: A Counterexample 变形的量子等距群:一个反例

We give a counterexample to show that the quantum isometry group of a deformed finite dimensional spectral triple may not be isomorphic with a deformation of the quantum isometry group of the undeformed spectral triple.

Isoperimetric stability of boundary barycenters in the plane 平面上边界质心的等周稳定性

Consider an open domain D on the plane, whose isoperimetric deficit is smaller than 1. This note shows that the difference between the barycenter of D and the barycenter of its boundary is bounded above by a constant times the isoperimetric deficit to the power 1/4. This power can be improved to 1/2, when D is furthermore assumed to be a convex domain, in any Euclidean space of dimension larger than 2. Let $Gamma$ be a Coxeter graph, let $W$ be its associated Coxeter group, and let $G$ be a group of symmetries of $Gamma$.Recall that, by a theorem of H{'e}e and M"uhlherr, $W^G$ is a Coxeter group associated to some Coxeter graph $hat Gamma$.We denote by $Phi^+$ the set of positive roots of $Gamma$ and by $hat Phi^+$ the set of positive roots of $hat Gamma$.Let $E$ be a vector space over a field $K$ having a basis in one-to-one correspondence with $Phi^+$.The action of $G$ on $Gamma$ induces an action of $G$ on $Phi^+$, and therefore on $E$.We show that $E^G$ contains a linearly independent family of vectors naturally in one-to-one correspondence with $hat Phi^+$ and we determine exactly when this family is a basis of $E^G$.This question is motivated by the construction of Krammer's style linear representations for non simply laced Artin groups.
