Accuracy Investigation for Structured-light Based Consumer 3D Sensors 基于结构光的消费级三维传感器精度研究

This work focuses on the performance investigation of consumer 3D sensors with respect to their repeatability and accuracy. It explores currently available sensors based on the 3D sensing technology developed by PrimeSense and introduced to the market in the form of the Microsoft Kinect. Accuracy and repeatability can be crucial criteria for the use of these sensors outside their intended use for home entertainment. The test strategies for the study are motivated by the VDI/VDE 2634 guideline. At the core of the work is the investigation of several units of the Asus Xtion Pro and the PrimeSense Developer Kit and a comparison of their performance. Altogether eighteen sensor units were tested. The results of the proposed test scenario for the sensor units show excellent repeatability at a few millimetres. However, absolute accuracy is worse and can be up to a few centimetres. Sensor performance varies greatly both for sensors of the same manufacturer and in-between manufacturers.

An AdaBoost Ensemble Classifier System for Classifying Hyperspectral Data 基于AdaBoost的高光谱数据集成分类系统

This paper presents a new multiple classifier system based on AdaBoost to overcome the high dimensionality problem of hyperspectral data. The hyperspectral data are )rst split into a number of band clusters based on the similarities between the contiguous bands, and each band group is considered as an independent data source. The redundant bands in each cluster are then removed using branch and bound technique. Next, a support vector machine (SVM) is applied to each cluster and the outputs are combined using the weights calculated in AdaBoost iterations. Experimental results with AVIRIS and ROSIS datasets clearly demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm in both overall and single class accuracies when compared to other multiple classi)er systems. For AVIRIS data, which contains classes with greater complexity and fewer available training samples, the differences between the overall accuracies of the AdaBoost results are signi)cantly higher compared to those of the other methods, and more pronounced than for the other dataset. In terms of class accuracies, the proposed AdaBoost approach also outperforms other methods in most of the classes.

Visual Analysis of TerraSAR-X Backscatter Imagery for Archaeological Prospection 用于考古勘探的TerraSAR-X后向散射图像视觉分析

The use of satellite radar widens the possibilities of archaeological prospection extremely. The resolution of the available sensors however was quite limited until now and only the detection of huge upstanding monuments or cultural landscapes was possible. The launch of TerraSAR-X, a German radar satellite in 2007, however, now offers a resolution of up to 1 m, which is required as a minimum for detecting small archaeological remains. Whereas upstanding monuments are clearly identifiable, it was still uncertain, whether the used high-frequency X-band waves of TerraSAR-X could penetrate the soil and provide information on buried archaeology as well. This paper shows the results of two test sites in Syria and Italy. Both of them have in common that there are extensive surveys by ground-based geophysical surveys with magnetometry and ground-penetrating radar, which provide information on the buried archaeological remains. By a detailed visual comparison of these results with the TerraSAR-X data, we can prove that there is a slight penetration depth of a few decimetres.
