This report compares the performance of examinees from your medical school with the performance of examinees from U.S. and Canadian medical schools taking Step 2 CK of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) for the first time in the 2015-2016 academic year. The performance of first-time examinees who failed Step 2 CK in the academic year but repeated the examination later in the year is also summarized above. Examinees who asked that their individual results not be provided to their school are excluded from the school data for this report, unless the number of examinees making this request was five or greater. The minimum passing score for the 2015-2016 academic year was 209.

Radiology is one of the youngest of the medical specialties, yet it wields an influence in organized medicine far in excess of its years. The diagnostic division occupies a cardinal place in almost all branches of medical science, for without a dependable roentgen diagnostic service accurate general medical diagnosis becomes exceedingly difficult and often impossible. A specialty has as its major purpose the better accomplishment of certain functions than is possible where the field of endeavor is less limited. If there be need for the specialty under consideration and if the services entailed are available, from the economic standpoint, to the majority of those requiring them, success is assured. That the specialty of Radiology fills a great need is attested by its growth and the dependence placed upon the radiologist by his fellow physicians. Extensive subsidence, caused mainly by ground-water pumping but also by oil and gas extraction, has increased the frequency of flooding, caused extensive damage to industrial and transportation infrastructure, motivated major investments in levees, reservoirs, and surface-water distribution facilities, and caused substantial loss of wetland habitat.
