This panel consists of four well-known experts in the field, who will identify several major challenges for the global adoption of cloud computing and future directions for research and development in order to meet these challenges. At the beginning of the panel session, each of the panelists will present their position statement covering certain important aspects of this subject. Then, we should have time for discussions covering both the presented statements and new ideas in the subject area.

Model-based testing is a promising technique for test case design that is used in an increasing number of application domains. However, to fully gain efficiency advantages, intuitive domain-specific notations with comfortable tool support as well as a high degree of automation in the whole testing process are required. In this paper, a model-based testing approach for web application black box testing is presented. A notation for web application control flow models augmented with data flow information is introduced. The described research prototype demonstrates the fully automated generation of ready to use test case scripts for common test automation tools including test oracles from the model.

The computed world embraces not only the information technology world, but also the physical world. Building on computationally smart environments, and trustworthy, secure, and dependable distributed software, this panel explores different perspectives on developing software beyond the digital society. Panelists will each address some international perspectives in a brief statement, with the bulk of the panel session being discussion and audience interaction. Panelists will address their vision for software beyond the digital society and the major impediments to achieving this vision; opportunities for collaboration across industry, academic, funding agency, and international boundaries; possible negative impacts or risks of developing software beyond the digital society, including societal, security, and ethical considerations; and educating students, architects, and society as users of the proposed vision.
