Animales relacionales: la concepción heideggeriana del organismo biológico en los Grundbegriffe de 1929 关系动物:1929年格兰德贝格里夫的海德格尔生物有机体概念

En este trabajo ofrezco una interpretación de la concepción heideggeriana del organismo biológico presente en sus cursos de 1929. Para ello, primero enmarcaré la discusión dentro de la interpretación heideggeriana del naturalismo y su manera de entender la relación entre filosofía y ciencia. Luego, analizaré su interpretación de la embriología y la ecología mediante la cual Heidegger esboza aportes originales a la filosofía de la biología, especialmente en torno al problema de la identidad del organismo biológico. Finalmente, mostraré cómo esta interpretación supone una profunda crítica a las concepciones sustancialistas del organismo a favor de una concepción relacional y procesual.
海德格尔在他1929年的课程中提出了生物有机体的概念。本文将探讨海德格尔对自然主义的解释及其对哲学与科学关系的理解。然后,我将分析海德格尔对胚胎学和生态学的解释,通过这些解释,海德格尔概述了对生物学哲学的原始贡献,特别是围绕生物有机体的身份问题。最后,我将展示这种解释是如何对实体主义的有机体概念进行深刻的批判,而倾向于关系和过程概念。

Natural Selection and the Nature of Statistical Explanations 自然选择和统计解释的本质

There is a widespread philosophical interpretation of natural selection in evolutionary theory: natural selection, like mutation, migration, and drift are seen as forces that propel the evolution of populations. Natural selection is thus a population level causal process. This account has been challenged by the Statistics, claiming that natural selection is not a population level cause but rather a statistical feature of a population. This paper examines the nature of the aforementioned ontological debate and the nature of statistical explanations given by population genetics. I claim that the Modern Synthesis provides good explanations of the changes in trait structure of populations without appealing to detailed causal information about the individual trajectories of the members of a population.

Given some links between Lyndon’s Interpolation Theorem, term distribution, and Sommers and Englebretsen’s logic, in this contribution we attempt to capture a sense of interpolation for Sommers and Englebretsen’s Term Functor Logic. In order to reach this goal we first expound the basics of Term Functor Logic, together with a sense of term distribution, and then we offer a proof of our main contribution.
