一次性高亮度信号(High Intensity Transient Signal)HITS)是在利用超声波多普拉法测定血流时,在血流中流动与血液成分不同的成分时,在极短时间内检测出的血流谱上的高亮度信号。其来源是微栓子和被认为是微气泡,相对于作为主要血液成分的红血球等,血栓等碎片的栓子和微气泡更明显。HITS的基本定义为:(1)chirp声音等可听声音的存在,(2)与血流方向相同的单向dopla偏移,(3)持续时间300ms以下的短暂性信号,(4)通常认为有比血流dopla成分强3db以上的信号成分。血液中红血球的数量为血红蛋白值的数十%,而作为HITS来源的微栓子和微气泡却只有极少数,因此被识别为短暂性信号。如果与主动脉相比大小的血栓飞出,就会被视为高强度的HITS。
