Natural resource management using remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a powerful approach that combines technology and data to monitor, assess, and make informed decisions about natural resources. Remote sensing involves the use of sensors on satellites, aircraft, drones, or other platforms to gather data about the Earth's surface and atmosphere. GIS, on the other hand, is a system designed to capture, store, analyze, manage, and present spatial or geographic data. Together, these technologies offer numerous benefits for natural resource management. The data is helpful for the regular asset chiefs to comprehend and all the more actually team up with remote sensing researchers to create and apply remote sensing technology to accomplish checking targets.

Energy is absolutely crucial to the functioning of our modern society. Because of the limited reserves and negative impact on the environment, finding a replacement for conventional fuel or reducing its continuous consumption is crucial and essential. The functions of this IoT are sensor-based maintenance indication of solar panels and protection against theft. When dust accumulates on a solar panel, it reduces its efficiency. To solve this issue, an IoT-based maintenance warning system is implemented using a sensor placed in a strategic location, with an accompanying Android application designed to deter theft. A solar cell equipped with an MPPT (Maximum power point Tracking) technology is used to draw the most energy possible from the sun. Since this resistor detects light, the system's efficiency will improve. This preliminary model can be generalized to cover a wider range of systems.

A drum brake consists of a rotating cylinder that is pressed against by a set of shoes or pads, which creates friction. Cast iron is the typical material for this. When the brakes are applied, friction develops on the drum's inner surface, slowing or stopping the wheel's rotation and bringing the vehicle to a halt. The development of heat, especially in the braking systems of automobiles, is the primary issue that must be dealt with. Brake drums for cars are typically constructed of cast iron. Multi-material brake drums, such as those with a Nickel alloy coating over cast iron, have replaced traditional brake drums. The behavior of these two setups needs to be investigated. Brake drum modeling is being done in CREO, and ANSYS will be used for structural and thermal analysis. Stress, strain, and heat dissipation % are just few of the factors we'll be comparing. Additionally, we have conducted nickel coating experiments on cast iron using an electroplating procedure, varying the layer thickness from 10 to 15 to 25 microns.

In earlier days, watershed delineation was mainly conducted by the method of hand delineation. Now a days GIS tools are being widely used for delineation of watershed boundary and identifying stream network. The advancements and new techniques in information technologies are making it possible to acquire large-scale spatial data through satellite data, elevation models with help of user-friendly programming. Watershed delineation is a process for creating a boundary that represents the contributing area for a specific control point or water outlet, with the intent of characterization and analysis of portions of a study area. Although many GIS tools and software are available for watershed analysis, there is a need for optimized libraries for client-side and for better illustration of data in interactive environment for hydrological data analysis. In this connection, presently we are developing a model for the automatic delineation of watershed area from Shuttle Radar Topographical Mission (SRTM) digital elevation model by using Python program. The data required by the model are digital elevation and the spatial coordinate of spill way, outlets etc. In this project, we can be developed and demonstrated several watershed delineation techniques on large scale by using Python programming.
