Discrimination of neuropsychiatric disease using EEG and Neurophysiological Biomarker Toolbox (NBT) with Machine Learning 利用脑电图和神经生理生物标志物工具箱(NBT)结合机器学习识别神经精神疾病

Electromyogram (EMG) contamination has been shown to affect electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Therefore, methods of isolating and removing EMG contamination are a focus of research. One of the most common ways to eliminate this contamination is through independent component analysis (ICA). Also, surface Laplacian (SL) has been proven to isolate the distant sources of EEG signals. The objective of this paper is to demonstrate the effects of EMG contamination on EEG signals using the Neurophysiological Biomarker Toolbox (NBT) and the impact of applying ICA, and ICA + SL on raw data. In this paper, the method for preparing the data is ICA with an auto-pruned method and SL using a flexible spherical spline. Machine learning was used to classify three neuropsychiatric diseases (anxiety, depression, and epilepsy) against control subjects under the three types of data pre-processing and raw data + SL. The data has been split into one second segments and classified according to features extracted from the NBT, which are the amplitude and the normalised amplitude for all frequency bands. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used for reducing the features, and 10-fold cross-validation and artificial neural networking were the methods that has been used for the classification. The results show a high percentage of accuracy in ICA + SL in all frequency bands. However, ICA in general has a percentage quite similar to the raw data, while SL, as well as ICA with a small percentage improved more than ICA and raw data. Overall, the gamma band for both amplitude and normalised amplitude in ICA + SL showed the best results, with accuracy over 87%, when comparing it with all disease classifications. Both results indicate that ICA + SL eliminate and isolate EMG contamination. However, the classification of ICA shows no significant change in the percentage of accuracy. Hybrid Power Control System 混合动力控制系统

A Hybrid Power Control System (HPCS) that gives out a single output has been designed to enable the automatic operation and transfer of power supply from three sources (public utility supply, photovoltaic system and ac generator). The Hybrid Power Control System provides a functional system that provides an automatic switching of power supply between the primary source (public utility) and two alternative sources (photovoltaic system and generator). The method employed in designing the HPCS involves the use of contactors, ATMEGA16L microcontroller, relay and motor drivers as part of the major components in the design. Also incorporated in the HPCS is a 12Vdc and a 5Vdc power supply unit, optocouplers and a liquid crystal display (LCD) for displaying the status of the HPCS at any particular time. The hybrid power control system demonstrates its ability to perform automatic power change over activities with no human interaction.

The approved clients who have qualified traits given by different specialists can get to the information. However, it couldn't control the assaults which can happen by the approved client who are not having qualified characteristics. In this work we propose another calculation Improved Security Data Access Control which Overcomes the issue exists in the current work. And furthermore incorporate the effective characteristic renouncement technique for multi specialist distributed storage. Indexterms: Access control, multi-authority, efficient CP-ABE, attribute revocation, cloud storage.

The development of motor vehicle brake pad using locally available raw material is presented. The disc brake friction lining with the geometrical specifications of a Toyota Camry 2000 model was produced using palm kernel and coconut shells powder as base materials, epoxy resin (araldite) as binder materials and carbon as fibre reinforcement, aluminum, copper, zinc and cashew nut shell were used as abrasives rubber dust from shoe as filler.The experiment conducted, it was revealed that the co-efficient of friction of the pad material ranged from0.4-0.65, scratch hardness of 80-85, bonding strength of 25-27Kg/cm 2 and wear rate of 0.025mm/min to 0.06mm/min as compared to the conventional brake pad material that has hardness of 80-85, bonding strength of 25-27kg/cm 2 and wear rate of 0.03-0.08mm/min

Effectiveness of transformation from e-Governance to mGovernance of a HEI on its communication services to the stakeholders 高等教育机构在向持份者提供通讯服务方面由电子管治向移动管治转变的成效

As technology has made an unprecedented change in world economy and professional preparation, India is rapidly advancing in the technological space. With the growing population and increasing Smartphone penetration, it is going mobile and digital. Smartphone and internet is not just for the rich and wealthy but more users are becoming informed by getting access of mobile internet. e-Governance is trying its level best to provide e-government services to citizens. But still there is need to reach these services to individual at their doorstep. So the looking at the current mobile age there is need for transforming e-governance services to mGovernance, which promises to bring the “anywhere-anytime-anybody” e-government service vision one step closer. It is in this way that this research intends to address variables that would facilitate the migration to mgovernance model in a Higher Education Institution experiencing a very high growth and adoption of mobile communication technology. By conducting an exhaustive literature review and brainstorming sessions with experts, 15 enablers were identified that would positively affect m-governance initiatives of the institution. On the basis of the aspects of communication services to be extended to affiliating institutions, a mobile app was created in which affiliated institutions could avail the services. The app was created and made accessed by 20 academic cum administrators for their communication services from the University and they were made to respond to the 15 enablers. The findings revealed that the administrators were for transformation from egovernance to m-governance. This research would help the University to focus on key elements and develop suitable strategies expediting the adoption and development of m-governance framework with suitable architecture.

From the last few yesteryears, traffic management is one of the hot issues for the research. There are verities of vehicles are available in the market according to the different status of people. Nowadays, everyone can buy their own vehicle that increases the number of registered vehicles on roads which leads to enormous problems congestion, pollution, noise, increase in traveling time. To improve the efficiency of the transport system, we use Internet of Things which helps to control the congestion. In this paper, we proposed an effective architecture for the management of the traffic congestion and also select the route that helps to avoid congestion or also reduce the traveling time by providing the facilities of security from accident, theft or fire. Today, the growth in the technological usage in people’s life has triggered an increased use of internet in mobile devices among teachers and students in many institutions. They use the technologies not only for the social networking and personal work but also for the discovery of new knowledge to prepare them for the demand of the current industries and world. One of the most valuable innovation in the current technological era is the semantic web. It helps to perform a meaningful browsing, development well designed learning material and learning management system. This paper profiles an in-depth review on various research work on the usage of semantic web in e-learning, which will help to design an effective e-learning environment which uses semantic web in full capacity. Based on the keyword searched, SentiT collects tweets having to do with it , separates and labels them into the different polarity classes neutral, negative and positive , simultaneously we also categorize them into emotions which are anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, surprise .Our main objective is to prepare a system that takes real time data from the twitter and come to a conclusion about the opinion on particular product/keyword

GPR System to Inspect Underground Distribution Systems 探地雷达探测地下配电系统

Laboratory experiments were used to investigate the potential of using ground penetrating radar (GPR) to detect problems in the underground distribution system. Surface geophysical methods are noninvasive, trenchless tools used to characterize the physical properties of the subsurface material. This characterization is then used to interpret the geologic and hydro geologic conditions of the subsurface. Many geophysical techniques have been suggested among them Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is one of the common sensor systems for underground inspection. GPR is a reflection technique which uses high frequency electromagnetic waves to acquire subsurface information. GPR responds to changes in electrical properties, which are a function of soil and rock material and moisture content. It emits electromagnetic signals which can pass through objects are recorded, digitized and then, the B-scan images are formed. Depending upon the properties of scanning object, GPR creates different intensity values on the object regions. Thus, these changes in signal represent the properties of scanning object. This paper proposes a three step method to detect and discriminate buried pipes : N-row average-subtraction (NRAS), Min-max normalization and image scaling. Proposed method has been tested using three common algorithms from the literature. Results shows increased object detection ratio and positive object discrimination (POD) significantly.
