Suicide is one of the top ten leading causes of death in the United States and was responsible for almost 45,000 deaths in 2016. Many more people are hospitalized as a result of nonfatal suicidal behavior (i.e., suicide attempts) than are fatally injured, and an even greater number are either treated in ambulatory settings (e.g., emergency departments) or not treated at all [1, 2]. Among adults aged 18 years and older, for each suicide there are about 30 adults who reported making a suicide attempt. In the United States, suicide was responsible for 44,193 deaths in 2015, which is approximately one suicide every 12 minutes (CDC, 2015) [2].

Background: Psychoactive substances are those substances which have various natural or synthetic compounds that act on the nervous system causing change in the function that regulate thoughts, behavior and emotions. Abuse of such substances involves increasing the risk of injuries, aggressions and the risk of unsafe sexual behaviors. The problem is even worse when it happens among young people such as students of higher educational institutions. Objectives: The objective of this study was to determine the magnitude of substance use and factors associated among regular undergraduate students of private higher education institutions from June 2018 up to August 2018 in Adama Town, Oromia, Ethiopia, Method: Institutional based cross-sectional study was conducted. Study participants (596) selected using systematic random sampling technique. Data collected using pre-tested selfadministered modified WHO Model core questionnaire. The collected data cleaned, coded and entered to Epi-Info 7.2 computer software and analyzed by SPSS version 21.Descriptive statistics used to summarize variables as appropriate. Binary logistic regression used to select variables for multivariable analysis. Result: A total of 596 students participated in the study. The response rate was 100%. Three hundred eighty nine (65.3%) participants were female, Four hundred seventy two (79.2%) were in the age group 18-24 years. Based on this study magnitude of substance use at least for one substance in the last 12 months among the study participants was 33.9% with 95%CI (29.9, 37.6), The most commonly used substance in descending order was Cigarette (7.0%), Khat (6.4%) and Alcohol (3.4%). Based on this study finding all substance use (Cigarette, Khat and Alcohol) together counted (17.1%). Female participation had high significance, family members using substance, believing substance use as good and knowing the risk of substance use also had significance. Based on this study associated factors for substance use showed that to increase work performance 10.2%, to minimize tension 9.7% and due to peer influence 8.7%. Pattern of substance use showed most of the participant’s use substance weekly 14.4%, monthly 7.7%, daily abusers 7.0% and other occasional users were 5.2%. Conclusion: This study showed magnitude 33.9% for at least one substance use for the past 12 months. Family history of students using substance had more significant. Showing the risk of Substance use among study subjects, the creation of awareness for family members and consistent health education should be continued to fully address the problem of using substance.

The Asperger syndrome (AS) is a disorder that it is manifested worldwide. It is characterized by difficult with social communication and restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviour, interest, or activities. It is included as a separated several conditions scientific knower: autistic disorder, Asperger syndrome, childhood disintegrative disorder, and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified. The relationship between sex/gender differences and AS has attracted a variety of research ranging from clinical and neurobiological to etiological, stimulated by the male bias in AS prevalence. The aim of this study was to review the clinic aspects of AS and physiotherapeutic and psychiatric treatment of this disorder, and the neurobiological findings.

It is essential for a civilized society that it must be mentally and spiritually healthy and be responding to all positive aspects of life. The main purpose of this paper is to enlight the main cause for happiness and how it relates to spirituality, if we relate to some supernatural power then we are free from fear and life becomes purposeful, happiness is a state of mind that leads to contentment but real happiness lies when it is true and long lasting and this can only be achieved with the help of spirituality. Spirituality can help some people feel happier and more engaged which leads to many benefits.

The incidence of medical slipups in primary care is not rare and the likelihood of faults producing grave harm is great. ‘Misdiagnosis’ means the improper diagnosis of a morbid condition. On the other hand, while patient’s safety is vital in patient care, there is a shortage of studies on medical errors in primary care settings. Anyhow, the most common errors usually are those related to delayed or missed diagnoses, followed by management inaccuracies. Whereas about one percent of hospital admissions result in an adverse event due to negligence, faults are probably much more common, because these studies detect only errors that led to computable adverse events occurring soon after the slips. Differences in healthcare provider teaching and practice, blurred lines of power of doctors, nurses, and other care providers, poor communiqué, incoherent recording systems, overestimation of insufficient data, failure to recognize the frequency and significance of medical errors, sleep deficiency and night shifts, unfamiliar settings, doctor’s depression, fatigue, and burnout, diverse patients, and, lastly, time pressures have been accounted as important bases of medical fault. So, careful medical checkup, based on acceptable clinical abilities and knowledge, is required for analysis of medical problems, especially in view of therapeutic golden-time. Moreover, supplementary and all-inclusive instructive courses, for upgrading the skills and knowledge of medical students in the field of ‘somatic symptom disorder’ and consultation-liaison psychiatry conceivably is valuable for diminishing misdiagnosis or negligence. Current medical teaching and tryout can not discount the vital role of liaison-psychiatry in present-day clinical practice, since the mutual connection between mind and body is more complex than what was thought before in primary care setting.
