The aim of this study is to develop a control method of mobile manipulation for humanoid robots, mobile manipulation means the integrated motion centered on arm's manipulation. The main objective of mobile manipulation is to obtain versatile and stable manipulation by arm. In this respect the legs are required to assist arm's manipulation. From viewpoint of the concept, we analyzed sole configuration and arrangement of humanoid robots based on the stability indeces. Relationship between sole configuration and stability indeces is clarified through the computer simulations.

The suitable projection is important for students to misunderstand a drawing. The author has been carrying out the recognition tests to reveal the suitable direction of projection. In the present study, two results of cognizing test carried out in 2002 and 2016 are statistically analyzed to discuss the time dependency on the directivity of the visual recognition. Although the significant differences cannot be recognized between these tests, rather inappreciable differences can be observed especially on the parameter φ of the random display test which includes the distribution shapes of the points. These differences may be caused by the reason that the subjects of two tests were not strictly the same and the tests were conducted by using the figures in which parameters θ and φ were chosen by 15° interval. Thus the directivity of the visual recognition is essentially independent of the time of testing. Moreover, normal distribution of the parameter of the figure indicates that the directivity of the visual recognition is dominated by the natural law.

It is popular to adopt a binocular stereographic technique for obtaining spacial information of objects in an outside scene. This technique is based on a binocular parallex of two pictures which are taken by separated cameras focusing the same object. In this paper we propose a system to extract spacial information automatically using this technique. The pictures are digitized by our drum-scanner and the data are punched on paper tapes so as to feed an image processor. The processor extracts feature points on each scanning line from image data, and detects the deviations of positions for all features appeared in both pictures. The coodinates of feature points in the 3-dimensional space can be calculated numerically from values of these deviations.Performing a proper coodinate transformation to these data, the processor composes image data such as a ground plane, a front view and a perspective. Then outputs these images using a dot-printer.Therefore the image processor system proposed can be put into practice.

When the picture plane is not perpendicular to the ground plane, there exist three vanishing points. In this case, we studied on a method to draw a perspective by using axsometric scale. For a straight line, lying on the ground plane and parallel to x or y axis, axsometric scale is intersecting points of total perspect of this straight line and a group of straight lines. They are total perspects of parallels lying on the ground plane. Inclination angles of parallels to both axes are 45° and their intervals are constant. For a straight line, parallel to z axis, axsometric scale is intersecting points of total perspect of this straight line and a group of straight lines. They are total perspects of parallels lying on a plane on which this straight line lies. Parallels are horizontal and their intervals are constant.
