This study was conducted to determine the phenotypic characteristics of the angut pigeon breed, which is native to Şanlıurfa, where pigeon breeding has been done traditionally for a long time and is also one of the domestication centers. In this study, we adopted 146 angut pigeons comprising 72 males and 74 females. Additionally, four different colour variations were determined: yellow angut (41.1%, n = 60), red angut (35.6%, n = 52), white angut (13.7%, n = 20) and black angut (9.6%, n = 14). All the colour variants had a peak crest (upright feathers) costume structure, which was at the back of the head, starting from the end of the neck and extending from ear to ear. Among the gender groups from the measurements obtained in this study; wing length, wingspan, tail length and head width (P < 0.001); shank length and head length (P < 0.01). Differences in beak length and beak width were also significant (P < 0.05). Moreover, the differences in beak length and beak width were significant (P < 0.05). Today, although anguts are morphologically similar to the Demkeş breed in Turkey, they do not have trumpeting sound ability. The trumpeter breeds of fancy pigeons are so named because of their unique vocalizations, which sound vaguely like low laughter. The data obtained on the morphological features of angut pigeons support the hypothesis that angut pigeons are a form pigeon and should be defined as a different breed.

The field of gastronomy, according to research funding agencies in Brazil, is classified in the large area of health sciences. However, despite this official classification, it can be said that gastronomy is crossed by a series of theoretical and methodological issues, of an interdisciplinary nature, which expands it beyond its disciplinary boundaries. In this sense, this article aims to discuss the French philosophy of Michel Foucault, especially from the genealogical phase of the thinker, when the main characteristics of disciplinary power and biopower were addressed. In addition to this initial approach, a film analysis of the cinematographic work called “Gosto se discussed” was presented, in which excerpts were highlighted that showed the full operationalization of body training technologies inside the kitchen of a traditional restaurant in São Paulo. It is expected that the present work will collaborate to enhance, more and more, the use of cinematographic works as a didactic and pedagogical resource in the educational field.

We study a class of early dark energy (EDE) models, in which, unlike in standard dark energy models, a substantial amount of dark energy exists in the matter-dominated era. We self-consistently include dark energy perturbations, and show that these models may be successfully constrained using future observations of galaxy clusters, in particular the redshift abundance, and the Sunyaev–Zel’dovich (SZ) power spectrum. We make predictions for EDE models, as well as ΛCDM for incoming X-ray (eROSITA) and microwave (South Pole Telescope) observations. We show that galaxy clusters’ mass function and the SZ power spectrum will put strong constraints both on the equation of state of dark energy today and the redshift at which EDE transits to present-day ΛCDM-like behavior for these models, thus providing complementary information to the geometric probes of dark energy. Not including perturbations in EDE models leads to those models being practically indistinguishable from ΛCDM. An MCMC analysis of future galaxy cluster surveys provides constraints for EDE parameters that are competitive with and complementary to background expansion observations such as supernovae.
