. The appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus disease, in China late 2019, has spread rapidly to become a pandemic, the clinical characteristics which range from being asymptomatic to having the severe form, where patients present abnormalities of the Coagulation, generally a hypercoagulable state, may evolve to disseminated intravascular coagulation, multiple organ failure, and / or death. It is important to investigate comorbidities; verify the coagulation status from the first contact, analyzing the routes: endogenous, exogenous, common, fibrinolytic system and platelet count, using technology like thromboelastography and sonoclot. The use of anticoagulants is indicated, it can be used unfractionated or low molecular weight heparin, with laboratory tests to adjust the dose, in order to avoid states of hypocoagulability, use blood products when necessary. Remember that antiviral treatment can have interactions with anticoagulants, especially oral ones, bleeding is not common. There are occlusion problems of installed catheters, one must avoid frequent of these washing with heparin. If the patient requires an emergency surgical or invasive procedure, it must verify the evolution of the coagulation, if it cannot be postponed, use treatment with blood products according to the alteration detected. Follow the management algorithm in the operating room to avoid infections from health personnel.

. Diabetes mellitus, a chronic and progressive condition, was the third most common cause of death in Mexico between January and June 2021. Its most frequent chronic complication is diabetic neuropathy, which has a major impact on the nervous system. A multidisciplinary group of experts met in Mexico City to establish a treatment algorithm considering the symptomatic and etiopathogenic aspects of diabetic neuropathy. A real-time Delphi method with two rounds of interative questions was used. The implementation of the proposed algorithm will allow a comprehensive approach to the diabetic patient with painful and non-painful neuropathy, both in terms of symptoms and etiopathogenesis. This approach provides the opportunity to improve quality of life and achieve reintegration into family and work life. The expert panel recommends thioctic acid as the first line etiopathogenic treatment for diabetic neuropathy. . In this epidemiological clinical review article, we searched CENTRAL, MEDLINE, Embase and CINAHL until May 8, 2020. Describing in a timely manner the prevention and control measures that health personnel should apply at the hospital level. It is very important that hospitals have prevention and control protocols for the COVID-19 pandemic, the unit must have the resources and personnel to care for the infected population, all workers must have training in the use of personal protection equipment (PPE), as well as hygiene measures. All the aforementioned must be applied in all areas of the hospital center, from reception to ICU (Intensive Care Unit), in medical procedures, disinfection and waste.
