Project complexity receives more and more attention from researches in all fields of project management. The subject of complexity in agent based systems has not received detailed attention. This paper deals with complexity factors which can be faced by agent based system development. The model is based on a mixture of project management components and software engineering components. Also some components were retrieved by experts and practitioner through a Delphi survey.

In particular, an early integration of performance specifications in the SDP has been recognized during the last few years as an effective approach to improve the overall quality of a software. Performance related problems are becoming more and more strategic in the software development, especially recently with the advent of Web Services and related business-oriented composition techniques (software as a service, Web 2.0, orchestration, choreography, etc.). The goal of our work is the definition of a software development process that integrates performance evaluation and prediction. The software performance engineering development process (SPEDP) we specify is focused on performance, which plays a key role driving the software development process, thus implementing a performance/QoS-driven (software) development process. More specifically, in this paper our aim is to formally define the SPEDP design process, posing particular interest on the basis, on the first step of SPEDP, the software/system architecture design, modeling and/or representation. We define both the diagrams to use and show how to model the structure of the software architecture, its behavior and performance requirements. This is the first mandatory step for the automation of the SPEDP into a specific tool.

The paper presents a novel Parallel Crout Algorithm (PCA) based on multi-core computer with Threading Building Blocks (TBB). TBB offers a rich and complete approach to express parallelism in a C++ program. PCA is decomposed into three-tier: data decomposition parallelism, task processing parallelism and data composition parallelism and it can improve the efficiency of solving linear systems. Compared with Sequential Crout Algorithm (SCA), PCA has advantages of high efficiency, cross-platform and scalability. SCA and PCA, which is based on TBB, are implemented with C++. The validities of both methods are verified by different scale of matrix. In order to improve decomposition rate, the paper optimizes the parameters of PCA. Experiments show that, compared with SCA, PCA can reached a faster solution speed and a higher efficiency and it takes full advantage of Symmetrical Multi-Processing computer.

Changsha is the demonstration region of “two types” and “low carbon tourism” in Hunan province, the development of the tourism industry use the basic resources with unique mountain, water, sandbar and long history. The research uses ecological bearing capacity to study on tourism sustainable development of Changsha. The results show that the tourism bearing capacities of the city not overload, the development of tourism industry is in a state of sustainable development, the pressure of tourist activities to the ecological environment is within the tourist ecological capacity. But tourism ecological footprint is very high, because there are a lot of local tourists participated in leisure activities, this also reflects the arrival of the leisure era, so making the relevant development countermeasures and management measures under low carbon idea.

In this paper, we report on our experience in designing Comet, a tool to support verification goals that require exploration of multiple model configurations and options. Comet helps us track the various runs we have made using Spin: it provides us with various visualizations and the ability to easily schedule a new run with point-and-click parameters. Our work on Comet is motivated by the observation that verification through model-checking is a complex process even after a model is built and properties are defined, where an analyst typically must navigate a difficult parameter space that involves both model configurations and tool options. Comet supports an analyst in this run, analyze, choose-next-run cycle.

Based on the ultrasonic guided wave theory, an indepth research and analysis into ultrasonic guided waves of port anchor metal rods in different conditions has been conducted. The simulation results of ultrasonic guided wave of port anchor metal rods conducted with the high and low frequency have been given. The anchorage quality results from amplitude and bonded area, which provides proof for the no-destructive testing of the end of port anchor metal rods.

In order to achieve the objectives of software engineering, it is necessary to select an appropriate software process paradigm, generally known as software process model. But being lack of its theoretical research in-depth, it is difficult to use it to guide software process effectively. In the paper, the concept and definition of software process paradigm were standardized; its elements were analyzed; its constraint mechanisms were explored; and the corresponding formal descriptions were presented. The study is useful to guide software process better.

The design and development method of a stereo recording simulation software named “Virtual Stereo Recording” was introduced in the paper. The software can support simulations of four types of stereo microphone techniques. The sound image can be displayed, the important parameters can be output, and the stereo sound simulated by the software can be played as well. The mathematical models of the parameters were derived and the development method was described in detail.
