. The global market immersed in an environment of economic and political uncertainty, where trade and industrial production showed signs of marked weakness. However, in developing countries like Colombia, with a moderate expected economic growth, attributed to the implementation of strategies aimed at creating jobs, building public infrastructure and services to meet the needs of their rapidly expanding and urbanizing populations. Consequently, this research analyzed the external phenomena that have impacted the Colombian economy on the housing supply and demand behavior of the construction sector. All the above, through the analysis of economic indicators, public policies, and stakeholder management around the use of tools, approaches, and methodologies established by different standards in project management along with the analysis of a business sample located in the city of Tunja. As mentioned above, it allowed the establishment of susceptibility to external economic phenomena and government policies in the construction sector. Those would enable the increased demand and boosts other areas of the economy through the effect of stakeholders in the supply and business capacities concerning its management, recognizing the expectations in the formulation and elaboration of projects in the current context. Nevertheless, companies related to the construction sector don't have adequate tools and personnel for this integral development, allowing to identify factors when evaluating business capacities around stakeholder management, contributing to generate new methodologies and instruments that enable increasing the success in construction projects.

: The Covid-19 pandemic has shifted investors’ preferences away from the cruise companies’ stocks as the lockdown measures totally suspended the services of these companies. In this paper, we examine three of the biggest companies’ stocks, namely the Carnival Corporation (CCL), the Royal Caribbean (RCL) and the Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) during the Covid-19 spread and the lockdown measures. Using relevant time series specifications, we establish a hypothesis regarding the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on these three stocks. Based on our findings, the three stocks were affected by the Covid-19 spread and more precisely, the Covid-19 spread provides useful information for the predicting and forecasting of these stocks. Our findings are robust, since the out-of-sample forecasting accuracy of the alternative model employed, that explicitly incorporate the pandemic induced by the SARS-COV-2 virus, is superior to the baseline model.

: Due to the rate of youth unemployment in Middle East precisely Saudi Arabia, this study investigates the relationship between technological skills and job employment among the unemployment youth in Saudi Arabia. Specifically, the study examined how technological related skills such as IT, computer skills and internet related skills predict job employment among the unemployed youths in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The study adopted a cross-sectional research design with quantitative questionnaire survey approach. The population of the study covered all the unemployed youths in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, however, only 350 of them was selected through purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire survey was distributed and retrieved via self-administered procedure. The data was analysed using SPSS version statistical tool while both correlation and regression analyses were employed to determine the correlation and relationship between the independent and dependent variables. In all, the study found overall support for the hypothesis that technological skills such as IT skills, ICT, internet related skills etc were statistically and significantly related to job employment among the unemployed youth in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, the study concludes that technological skills such as IT skills, ICT, internet related skills etc. significantly affect job employment among the unemployed youth in Saudi Arabia. In line with this, the study provided discussion on the findings as well as the implications for practice and future research. Limitations of the study are also offered.

The projects from their origin have sought to response to a particular need or problem, this is how through the time the human being has had to develop different techniques which allow him to elaborate good practices to the project management. In addition to the above, this has led to the fact that today there are multiple international standards applied to project management, which sometimes, these standards diverge in the way they initiate, plan, execute, control and finalize the projects, but they converge in the search for their success. The present paper, makes a comparison of four of the most used standards around the world as the PMBOK, ISO 21500, APMBOK, and Prince 2, in order to evaluate the performance of each one of those standards and consequently, to illustrate the common features which applied to reality facilitate the success in project management.

The digital transformation is characterized by a changing process via digital technologies which affects the entire society and especially companies in a significant way. Distinctively not only individual enterprises themselves are involved, moreover the digital automation of various processes has a substantial influence in the complete value chain. Systems are intelligently interconnected with each other and transform into self-organized organizational networks. The horizontal integration, which is one of the main features in the digital transformation process, therefore concerns not just internal stakeholders, moreover all interested groups along the entire lifecycle of products and services are highly related to this change. In order to demonstrate the impact of the digital transformation in the value chain, an empirical study on Austrian industrial companies has been done. Therefore, this paper shows recent developments on suppliers, employees and consumers in research and practice. As a result, an assumption of potential influences of the digital transformation in the value chain is achieved.

Organizations are nowadays concerned with managing their corporate image. There is a strong positive correlation between people’s perceptions of a company and pro-corporate supportive behaviour. In this study, past researchers on corporate image were incorporated to create a platform for framework which identifies the variables of relationship between corporate image and customer loyalty cum profitability. The study utilized descriptive statistics, bivariate correlation and linear regression to investigate the impact of corporate image on customer loyalty and profitability within the Nigerian service industry (banking). The study adopted the research instrument of self-structured questionnaire which was in line with the reviewed literature and focused on the main variables in the study. It was found in the model parameters that physical environment, service offering and customer loyalty have significant impact on the level of profitability. Thus, we can rightly conclude that the level of satisfaction among customers tends to affect the service offerings and customer loyalty which has a direct link with corporate profitability.

This study investigates whether the possibility of incentive-based on tournaments scheme increases or decreases misbehavior (dishonesty) among auditors when it is being applied under multi-tasks and non-multi-tasks environments. We precisely compare a multi-tasking work environment with a non-multi-tasking work environment and its ability to reduce non-behavioral processes. Two different experiments were conducted in two different environments (online and laboratory) where all these tasks are subjected to tournaments incentives scheme. 253 participants are assigned randomly to one of the two treatments (multi-tasks, or only one task) and they have absolute freedom to make a decision without monitoring. Our result shows that there is credible evidence that multi-tasking in incentive tournament schemes environment can highly prevent dishonesty among worker’s performance whether in laboratory environment when the social interaction is present or online environment when the social interaction is absent. These experiments have important implications for human resources managers in order to avoid workers’ dishonesty in the performance of their jobs.

. In Colombia, Higher Education institutions such as universities, both public and private, must fulfil three core functions: Education, Research and Social Development. Social Development refers to the services carried out by the university that make a positive impact on the surrounding communities and improve social welfare. This is achieved through teaching and research, which generate a range of projects that directly connect an institution to those communities. The stakeholders for Social Development projects typically have a significant influence on their development and success, however the relationship between stakeholder management and a project’s success has been poorly documented to date. This article seeks to describe the characteristics of this relationship and establish the importance of stakeholder management in the context of Social Development projects, using the institution of the University of Boyacá as a case study. Through a literature review and data analysis, this study will consider the research variables in order to determine the influential stakeholder groups in Social Development projects and, furthermore, define how the management of stakeholders positively affects their success. By doing so, we aim to generate literary support for future research and investigation in this area of projects.

Construction is one of the largest economic sectors due to the im pact on employment generation, trade-in materials, and development of essential infrastructure in the nations. Consequently, global economies demand to satisfy new and more significant needs. These caused by a growing population, technological development, internalization, deregulation, and market liberalization. Together, with knowledge economies related to organizational learning, business improvement, and acquisition of new methodologies, in parallel with the requirements in attractive sales costs, optimal deliveries, and better service conditions. Therefore, it's required to follow a marketing approach, together with procurement management, supported by recent production, distribution and consumption processes of materials in the construction sector, especially cement, considered as the most consumed manufactured material in the world, satisfied by the development, support and introduction of chemical additives in the technological formulations of new materials and construction processes. In consequence, the present investigation seeks to establish an understanding of markets related to the acquisition management around the commercialization of chemical additives in the construction sector of Colombia. It will be done through statistical tools of perception like Conjoint Analysis (CBC) and Multidimensional Scaling (MDS), which allow determining similarities and preferences of the users in the valuation of brands, prices, and applicability, establishing client inclinations. These use of statistical and quantitative techniques for procurement management where applicability is the attribute most desired by users related to traditional construction methods and, in turn, to some price indexes of the construction sector in Colombia.

The article discusses Georgian-Italian trade relations and empirically realizes the models of Georgian export to Italy and import from Italy to Georgia. Empirical models are based on the commonly used economic theory of the export-import determinants (real exchange rate, nominal exchange rate, total price index, national income). According to the empirical model of import the current value of import (from Italy to Georgia) is positively related to the real exchange rate and the volume of Georgian GDP. Furthermore, the implementation of the empirical model reveals the impact of factors (COVID 19, the impact of the British referendum on the Eurozone, the Italian referendum, etc.) affecting to the economies of countries and trade relations, correspondingly. Empirical model of export presented in the paper is not statistically valid, however, modifying functional specification from additive to multiplicative does not improve statistical characteristics of model. The article forecasts the trade relations between the two countries using the exponential smoothing method. Forecast models indicate an increasing trend in exports and imports between countries.
