Recently, various studies are being conducted to promote urban revitalization through the establishment of regional identity. Although limited studies have been conducted to investigate the causality between the local location and urban landscape factors, existing studies on the subject of urban landscape have shown limitations in applying it to regional activation as studies have been conducted only on the elements of a physical perspective. From this point of view, research and interest in non-physical perspective are increasing intermittently in recent years, but research on non-physical landscapes in the field of urban landscape is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between urban landscape factors and regional activation targeting Incheon Baedari. To this end, the landscape characteristics of Baedari's modern architecture and specialized street were selected as physical landscape factors

In this study, the Halloumi cheese containing "Baromi 2" rice flour was manufactured to increase production yield. Halloumi cheese was produced by adding 1% or 2% rice flour to raw milk before pasteurization. Production yields, pH values, compositions, textures, and sensory preferences of Halloumi cheese with added rice flour and control Halloumi cheese were compared. Product yield and cheese moisture content increased as the amount of rice flour added increased. Halloumi cheese containing 2% rice flour had the highest moisture content and lowest hardness. Sensory preference was lowest for cheese containing 2% rice flour, but no significant difference was found between cheese containing 1% rice flour and control cheese. These results show that adding rice flour increases cheese yield but that further research is needed to improve sensory preference.

Mortar ammunition has strong destructive power, making it dangerous and challenging to use for training purposes. Therefore, to achieve realistic training effects within limited resources, training ammunition called "Sub-caliber" has been implemented by removing the explosives and incorporating smoke agents. This ammunition is maintained under vacuum-sealed conditions using protective waterproof barrier bags to prevent moisture and corrosion. On the other hand, an issue arose where barrier bags of several 22mm sub-caliber cartridges for the 4.2-inch mortar stored by the military experienced inflation. Compositional analysis detected hydrogen gas, and the cause of inflation was attributed to a chemical reaction between the magnesium in the smoke agents and moisture. After identifying the factors that can generate moisture, which can induce a chemical reaction with the magnesium in the smoke agents, the internal packaging material was found to be the primary source of moisture. This issue was addressed by controlling the chemical reaction rate through temperature regulation by changing the storage location. Finally, the Arrhenius equation was used to predict and compare the shelf life of an igloo magazine and an above-ground magazine. The Arrhenius equation describes the relationship between the rate of a chemical reaction and temperature. It can be used to predict the stability at different storage temperatures. As a result, the estimated shelf life of an igloo magazine is approximately 21 years (7721 days), representing a 1.5-fold improvement compared to the above-ground magazine. The quality improvement measures presented in the paper are expected to enhance the stability and storage performance of the abovementioned ammunition and all ammunition containing magnesium components.

Polycarbonate materials used for livestock barn roofing undergo degradation not only due to the factors such as temperature, humidity, and UV exposure in outdoor environments but also from gases generated in livestock settings, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide. Therefore, we studied the development of materials to improve weather resistance, impact resistance, and chemical resistance with various tests including DSC, FT-IR, thermal deformation, flexural strength, and impact strength, confirming the optimal content of 7 wt% (utilizing ECOZEN). In the weather resistance test, the PC-2 material exhibited a △YI 2 level, and it was observed that UV absorbers of the Benzophenone and Triazine series showed inadequate weather resistance compared to the Benzotriazole series. we expect that future development efforts will focus on creating polycarbonate-based materials with enhanced weather resistance and chemical resistance for the applications in livestock barns

Since the introduction of 3D printing technology, various equipment and materials have been developed and have expanded the scope of applications. Research related to the properties of newly developed materials is needed. Therefore, in this study, we compared the flexural strength of various temporary crown resins produced using 3D printing. Specimens were designed according to ISO 10477 standards (25 mm x 2 mm x 2 mm) for flexural strength measurement. Five types of resins from different manufacturers were selected, and specimens were printed using a digital light processing (DLP) printer (n=10, N=40). A three-point flexural strength test was conducted using a universal testing machine. To compare the groups, a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted, and Scheffe's post hoc test was used. Significant differences were observed among the groups (P < 0.05). However, since all groups exhibited values higher than the flexural strength threshold specified by ISO-10477, it is suggested that the resin materials would be acceptable for temporary restorations produced with 3D printing technology in all groups.
