Global patent analysis on coronavirus vaccine 冠状病毒疫苗全球专利分析

Based on the patent information related to coronavirus vaccine, the present situation and development trend of coronavirus vaccine have been analyzed. Since the outbreak of SARS in 2002, the amount of patent applications of coronavirus vaccine reached the peak in 2003. Since the outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome in 2012, there was a small increase on the amount of patent applications of coronavirus vaccine from 2012 to 2015. In view of the analyses of the key applicants and vaccine types, it is concluded that nucleic acid vaccine, inactivated vaccine and viral vector vaccine are the main vaccine types against coronavirus, which is consistent with the three types of vaccines that have entered clinical trials in China and the United States.
根据冠状病毒疫苗相关专利信息,分析了冠状病毒疫苗的现状及发展趋势。自2002年SARS爆发以来,冠状病毒疫苗专利申请量在2003年达到高峰。自2012年中东呼吸综合征爆发以来,2012 - 2015年冠状病毒疫苗专利申请量略有增加。结合重点申报对象和疫苗类型分析,认为核酸疫苗、灭活疫苗和病毒载体疫苗是新型冠状病毒疫苗的主要疫苗类型,这与中美两国已进入临床试验的三种疫苗类型一致。
