With the rising proportion of renewable energy in the electrical power systems, the importance of energy storage as a two-way energy device that can provide rapid response has become increasingly prominent. In this paper, the neural network is used to analyze the historical output data of each equipment in the microgrid, provide a more accurate prediction curve of processing level, and determine the upper limit of energy storage in the next day. Thus, the excess energy storage capacity can be arranged in other business models in advance to obtain benefits. Then a dynamic shared energy storage lease model is proposed to reduce the shared energy storage capacity of microgrid as much as possible. On this basis, a two-level optimization model of shared energy storage capacity allocation based on multi energy unit output is proposed. The upper model is to maximize the benefit of shared energy storage, and the lower model is to minimize the total operating cost. Finally, an example is analyzed on the MATLAB platform to check the feasibility and correctness of the model.

The method of the full-size experiment is used to study the conveying characteristics of the compressed air foam in the pipe. This paper proposes a method of calculation of foam flow rate, foam pipe resistance loss, and the like. The longer the pipeline is, the more stable the foam, the longer the 25% drainage time of the foam. The response time of the compressed air foam system was obtained by analysis of the experimental results. It is found that the conveying speed of the compressed air foam is faster, but the tube network and the foam cannon have a longer time for the rated working pressure. The longer the pipeline, the longer the time of the rated working pressure. The foam flow rate range of compressed air foam is obtained by experimentally, the pressure loss along the way, and local pressure loss. According to the experimental results and combined with the actual situation of the typical ultra-high voltage converter station, an optimized design of the compressed air foam pipe network configuration is proposed.

As the proportion of renewable energy sources increases, the randomness and volatility of the frequency increase, and its dynamic behaviors are becoming more complex. In order to clearly characterize the frequency fluctuation characteristics of the power system, the long-term statistical characteristics are analyzed based on the measured data. The bimodal normal distribution is used, and the measured frequency is decomposed into continuous and short-time-scale components using the moving average method. Based on historical data, the derivation law of the frequency fluctuation characteristics of regional power system is explored, and it is found that the frequency fluctuation characteristics of different regions continue to differentiate, and the characteristics of the sending-end power system frequency being higher than the rated frequency and relatively drastic fluctuations are becoming more and more obvious.

The integrated energy system of the park is characterised by diverse load demands and complex energy supply equipment. In order to reduce the construction and operation costs of multiple energy sources in the integrated energy system of the park and to solve the problems of high energy operation costs and unreasonable cost structure in the energy supply of the integrated energy system of the park, an optimal scheduling method of the integrated energy system of the park considering multiple energy coupling is proposed. Firstly, the operating costs of four energy sub-systems, namely electricity, heat, cooling and gas, are specified; then, the objective function of minimising the construction and operating costs of the integrated energy system in the park is solved using Matlab by considering various constraints; finally, the proposed method is validated by using an industrial park in northern China as a simulation object. The results show that the proposed optimal scheduling method can effectively reduce the operating cost of the park and optimise the output structure of each unit.

The battery energy storage technology can be flexibly configured and has excellent comprehensive characteristics. In addition to considering the reliability of the battery energy storage power station when it is connected to the grid, the reliability of the energy storage power station itself should also be considered. The reliability model based on Copula theory was established for battery module, and the reliability of energy storage module was analyzed according to the basic structure of energy storage modules. In this paper, the example analysis is based on the existing simulation model of energy storage module. Then the reliability of energy storage module in the next 20 years is predicted considering the different correlations between battery clusters.

In this paper, on the premise of meeting the needs of users in the park for electricity, cooling and heating, and following the goal of minimizing costs, we plan for the equipment and energy in the system. Based on the example data of a certain park in the north, the gurobi solver is called to solve the model on the MATLAB simulation platform combined with the yalmip toolbox. This paper compares and analyzes the planning schemes with or without solar energy output and with or without energy storage output. The simulation results prove the validity of the built model. The planning results prove that adding energy storage equipment and solar energy output equipment to the system can improve economy and energy supply. Reliability has certain advantages. In addition, this paper considers the impact of uncertain fluctuations in load and solar energy output on the planning of the integrated energy system, and the results show that the capacity allocation of energy storage equipment and solar energy output equipment is greatly affected by fluctuations.

Due to the integration of Renewable Distributed Generation (RDG) and the load demand constantly change in an actual distribution network, network reconfiguration considering variations in load and RDG is a key role to enhance the performances of overall system. This paper proposes a reconfiguration method with time-varying characteristic that aims to minimize the total active power loss and maximize the absorption of RDG power by the system simultaneously. Firstly, the load and RDGs models are built through analyzing the time-varying characteristic of the actual load demand and RDG output power. Afterwards, the comprehensive multi-period objective function is designed based on variations in load and RDG. Finally, a hybrid particle swarm optimization is presented to solve the optimal problem of network reconfiguration considering time-varying characteristic. In the method, the topology structure and the absorption of RDG power are defined as the population which are updated by using integer and random quantum evolution principles. The proposed method is tested on an extended 33-bus network considering actual load demand and RDG to show the effectiveness of enhancing the performance of the system.

Structural models based on the same material of the cable are usually used to conduct tests when studying the problems related to partial discharge of the cable body and accessories. However, it is difficult for such test models to reflect the characteristics of partial discharge signal transmission inside the cable. As an alternative to the traditional cable intermediate joint, the melt joint has almost the same electrical performance as the original cable, which can effectively solve the problem of the movable interface of the traditional joint. This paper gives a method of making and applying cable models by using the defective melt joint technology to reflect the actual partial discharge signal accurately. The analysis and test results show that the given model manufactured using the cable melting technology provides obvious partial discharge signals and can effectively simulate various partial discharge characteristics.

A robust dual dynamic programming algorithm is proposed to solve the proposed model, and an improved lower bound of the hyperplane is proposed to solve the problem that the traditional benders lower bound cannot approximate the saddle value function surface. The simulation results show that the proposed model can provide an important basis for virtual power plant operators’ market participation strategies, and promote the promotion and application of virtual power plants in the future power market.

By analyzing the surface vibration acceleration of high voltage shunt reactor, the information of internal fault of reactor can be obtained, which can reduce the probability of accident The test platform is established by a 500 kV reactor. Firstly, the Operating Deflection Shapes(ODS) image is obtained by frequency domain analysis of the vibration signals measured by evenly arranged measuring points, and then the texture features of ODS image can be extracted and analyzed by gray level co-occurrence matrix (GLCM). The results show that the working voltage of the reactor will only affect the vibration amplitude of the reactor surface, but will not affect the ODS distribution. And the amplitude of reactor surface vibration is directly proportional to the square of voltage. When the winding is loose, the texture features of ODS image on the reactor surface change. The Asm of the GLCM of ODS image increases, the Cor of the GLCM of ODS image decreases and the IDM of the GLCM of ODS image increases. The research results provide a reference for fault detection of high voltage shunt reactor based on vibration method.
